The gym is always clean, equipment is usually available or only a short wait.
PT is fabulous. James makes all the difference to my confidence. He has given me a program that I can build on and am happy to do on my own outside my 1-1 PT sessions.

When the gym was working (Bidston moss)…
When the gym was working (Bidston moss) it was perfectly fine, but it's now been closed for around 2 months without any communications of when it may reopen.

We do try and keep disruption to a minimal. Whilst these works are ongoing, access has been opened up to other PureGym locations so you don't miss a workout. At the time, the club had restricted areas, but upon further external review, further works needed to be carried out to maintain a safe and secure environment for all our members.

The staff are friendly and helpful in a professional way, it is nice and cool, there is plenty of space and, plenty to do. The price is reasonable for a month's worth. I just think it is good in so many ways.

Today was my first day at the gym
Today was my first day at the gym, no experience at all therefore I booked a PT Taster session with Kane Ashley, I arrived in time, no PT there.
First impression bad.
Very disappointed as I booked the session in advanced and organised my diary.
At least Ryan the manager showed me the gym and facilities.

I used to love this gym
I used to love the gym and all the classes on offer. My favourite instructor left rather suddenly and I wouldn't be surprised if he was bullied out. Now, a lot of the classes have been cancelled and not rescheduled back to the original timetable which really worked for me. One of the trainers C who has been there a while has an arrogant and lazy attitude and it has really put me off going. I have also witnessed him talking down to new staff members. I am now in two minds as to if I want to continue with my membership.

Great SAFE place for a workout
Great SAFE place for a workout, especially being a Muslim women. Their women's only workout space and class are fantastic, they have so much variety and the staff female and male are very respectful helpful and kind. Fantastic trainers
I visited the Brentford gym this morning and attended 0630 Burn class. Natasha led the session and was really clear in explaining each of the stations. I attend quite a few sessions led by Natasha and she is really inspiring and encouraging…Fantastic

Extremely Disappointing Experience at PureGym Millhouses SheffieldMy experience at PureGym Millhouses Sheffield has been, without question, one of the worst experiences I have ever had in a gym environment. From the very beginning, I found the overall atmosphere to be unwelcoming, unprofessional, and far below the standards I would expect from a fitness facility.One of the most concerning aspects was the attitude of certain members of the management team. Rather than being approachable, supportive, and customer-focused, I found them to be dismissive, rude, and lacking basic professionalism when dealing with members. This created a very uncomfortable environment and left me feeling that customer satisfaction was not a priority.I was also disappointed by the quality of advice being provided by some personal trainers. In my opinion, dietary and nutritional guidance should only be offered by individuals who are appropriately qualified and knowledgeable in that area. The advice I observed and received appeared generic, poorly structured, and lacking a clear evidence-based approach, which significantly reduced my confidence in the expertise being offered.Additionally, several of the male personal trainers came across as arrogant, unapproachable, and more focused on self-promotion than genuinely helping members achieve their goals. A personal trainer should inspire confidence through professionalism, knowledge, and a positive attitude. Unfortunately, I found some staff members lacking in these key qualities.Overall, my experience was extremely disappointing. The combination of poor customer service, questionable professional standards, and an unfriendly atmosphere made this one of the least enjoyable gym experiences I have ever had. I would strongly encourage management to review staff conduct, improve customer service standards, and ensure that all fitness and nutrition-related advice is delivered appropriately and responsibly.

It may be around half the price of the windrush, but, if you cannot use any equipment. What's the point???

I am extremely disappointed with my…
I am extremely disappointed with my experience at PureGym, particularly with how they handled a serious incident at the Bayswater branch.
I was assaulted by a member of staff and reported the incident to PureGym immediately. I was assured that they would carry out a thorough investigation and keep me informed of the outcome. However, after making that promise, I never heard from them again.
Due to the seriousness of the incident, I also reported the matter to the police. The police have requested the relevant CCTV footage from the gym and are conducting their own investigation into what happened.
Despite the seriousness of my complaint, PureGym has not contacted me to provide any update, explain the findings of its investigation, or tell me what action, if any, has been taken. The complete lack of communication and accountability has been just as upsetting as the incident itself.
When a customer reports being assaulted by a member of staff, they should expect transparency, professionalism, and support—not silence. I feel completely let down by PureGym’s handling of this matter and cannot recommend a company that appears to treat such serious complaints with so little care.
I hope PureGym takes complaints of this nature more seriously in the future and improves the way it communicates with customers who have experienced serious incidents.

We always ensure that any concerns that are brought to our attention are investigated in full, and appropriate action taken. We of course will do what we can to ensure your safety in the gym and we do have measures in our gyms - we have a dedicated CCTV Team monitoring footage 24/7 as well as emergency help points, which when accessed will put you through to a member of the CCTV Team who will offer their assistance. We do also have the Gym Management Team on hand to help members during manned hours, details of which can be found on the clubs page on the PureGym website.
Whilst the internal investigation was ongoing, we did let you know that we would not be able to comment on the status of those involved and that once we have concluded the investigation and the evidence available to us has been reviewed, we will come back to you with an outcome. We can appreciate this can be frustrating, but our team has to conduct a thorough investigation before taking the next steps and we appreciate your patience during this. I can confirm our team have since gotten back in touch with you regarding this, so please check your spam/junk folder in case this has been missed.
