Protyre Autocare - Sittingbourne Arvostelua 

I ordered tires online after finding a very good deal, and the whole ordering process was smooth and straightforward. Scheduling an appointment at the local branch was also easy and convenient, which initially left a positive impression. I additionally paid for a wheel alignment service, expecting a professional and transparent job.

My partner attended the appointment, and the tires themselves were replaced without any apparent issues. However, things took a disappointing turn at the end. Before collecting the car, my partner asked for a printout or report showing the wheel alignment results — specifically the before-and-after measurements — which is a completely reasonable request for a service we paid for.

To our surprise, the branch manager informed her that she would not receive any such documentation. This was both shocking and unprofessional. If we paid for a wheel alignment, how are we supposed to verify that the service was actually performed? Providing proof of work should be standard practice, not something customers have to argue for.

The response felt dismissive and, frankly, rude. As customers, we have every right to confirm that the job we paid for was completed properly. Since no evidence was provided, we are left strongly doubting whether the alignment was done at all.

Overall, while the pricing and online experience were good, the lack of transparency and professionalism at the branch level seriously undermined our trust. I would think twice before paying for additional services here again.

Great and punctual

The manager and staff were very helpful. They managed to fit me in the next day for a new exhaust. They were honest about the cost and the car was ready on time. I am going to use them for all my car servicing in the future.

2 nails in n/s front tyre not found on first visit when two new tyres on the back, I was informed, were necessary. I ordered those but gave your fitter the incorrect cost I thought I'd seen on-line of £104 each for Toyo's. I should have told him £101.40 each. My mistake. However it was the next day, when fitting had been booked, I found before leaving home the front n/s tyre was nowhere near the correct pressure.My second visit to Sittingbourne revealed the problem. It is extremely upsetting to think I could have incurred the cost of replacement for all 4 tyres. I had the two Toyo's fitted to the front. Will I be going back there in the not too distant future for the rear replacements ? Unlikely I'm thinking ! I have nearly always used your Sittingbourne branch for the past 8 years or more. and, not least of all, spent a lot of money there. Brian Hiller

Update: Protyre followed up and called me we discussed the issue and the earlier charge will be refunded so I am actually impressed that they seem to take customer service seriously. Happy to recommend them and I will continue to use them as my go to tyre place.
Earlier : This visit was ok but previous visit where I paid £30 for diagnosis and re-seat but screw in tyre was missed was a waste of money
