Good value and truly professional
Protyre’s service and repair facility is first class and it is more than just MOTs and general servicing, Protyre undertakes major mechanical repairs as I discovered. Considerably better value than the main dealer for my vehicle. More than that the Protyre team inspires confidence with their professional approach.

Excellent service for classic car
I have a 1975 MGB and needed front wheel tracking. Not all places are capable or willing to tackle older cars Protyre Micheldever did a good job and even made sure the steering wheel straight on position was corrected. I have also ised them for buying inner tubes and tyres as well as balancing wire wheels.

Fitting of 2 new tyres was perfectly but…
Fitting of 2 new tyres was perfectly fine. However, when doing the balancing the battery was flattened and the on-screen displays were completely messed up. I was initially told I might need to get the car towed but after about 10 minutes they got it going. They said the battery could’ve been drained when the tracking was being done.
After I’d left I took it my local garage and they suggested a new battery which I agreed to. They also spent an hour diagnosing and fixing my displays. In reality I accept I’d have needed a battery sooner rather than later but I certainly wouldn’t have needed to get the displays diagnosed and fixed.
