Protyre Autocare - Great Dunmow Arvostelua 

The car was failed on screen washers not working. They were found to be working after the test. It was also failed on an insecure headlight. I pointed out that it was secure when the bonnet was down. It should not have been failed when the vehicle is in its normal operating condition. I was then charged £95 labour to fix it. I found this unnecessary and excessive. I will be very reluctant to use Protyre again.

A couple of years ago I used protyer and the staff there was appalling no customer service rude to the point of ignorance however now were so much improved in al aspects top marks

Can happily recommend this company as my experience recently with an MOT ended up a bit of a shock as my car failed.
The work was done efficiently and I was very glad that they re MOT'd and I know have a fully fit car.
Although an unexpected repair bill is never a good bit of news, the cost was fair and the work carried out quickly.

It was for an MOT so not much to review really. Apart from my interaction with the customer services. All ok at booking in. Said they would phone when ready. That never happened. Had my phone on me all day. No missed calls or voicemails. So left it over 4 hours after my appointment time, five hours after dropping the car off and went to collect. I was told they tried to call but didn't get through. If they did bother to try they didn't try very hard. I was then told I would have got an email... I wasn't expecting an email, I was expecting a call. As a woman it is not my first experience of being patronised by a man working in a garage.

The online booking service is good and the practical service given in the work bays is also good in my exeprience. Pricing is competetive - staff attitudes in the shop vary from very friendly and helpful to unhelpful almost to the point of obstructional, depending on the individual you have to deal with on a particular day - which somewhat takes the shine off the experience.

They are also very good at dealing with problem people, as I witnessed. They deserve a medal for dealing with some entitled people. They’re doing a fab job, keep it up, guys!

The actual MoT took about 5 minutes longer than anticipated but everything else all OK, so I booked a gold service.

Friendly and always there to help

Pot hole wrecked yet another tyre which was beyond repair. Turned up unannounced at the Dunmow centre and was greeted by Henry who took my details and started to process immediately. It was 11:00 on Saturday morning so I expected a wait.Henry informed me that there was a 60 min. wait time. Tate started to deal with the tyre within 30 mins and was kind enough to show me the damaged tyre. All done within 45 mins and my replacement Goodyear was a reasonable price too. Efficient and friendly service and hats off to Henry and Tate who were both stars and had me on my way swiftly. Would recommend.

Easy to book a test at a time to suit online at a reasonable price. Test conducted promptly while I waited. Coffee and other drinks provided FOC. Good experience.
