We ordered and paid in full in December. Lead time was supposed to be 8 weeks. Asked them in mid March where the order was. Gave some reasons for delay and promised to ship the week after. That didn't happen. We called again. Promised another delivery which still hasn't happen. We are 4 months in the order now and we booked installer twice for nothing. This company doesn't care. Don't buy from companies like this. You are wasting your time and money.

Ordered 28th Dec. 10 weeks later I'm still only receiving generic marketing email with no estimate on my delivery. Have messaged sales team for clarity 3 times with no response.

Given product is significant investment, I'd expert better service.

I’ve been trying to get support since October (4 months) because the electronics received were faulty and cutting in and out. It’s been a frustrating process. I can’t even fix it on my own - I think it’s their installed hardware because I’ve replaced every replaceable cord with a new one.

We ordered our DropTop desk on Feb 2nd.

The site and subsequent emails stated:

"Given the current high demand for our DropTop™ desks, please note the estimated lead times are:

DropTop™ Light: 1-3 weeks"

..despite reaching out to Customer Services (Success Team) over Facebook messenger, we've not been given a date for delivery.

It's frustrating that it's now late and a date isn't being provided - we don't mind it taking longer as I'm sure the product will be worth it ...but there should be some basic communication.

Pith and Stem should revise their lead times to set expectations properly.

Absolutely love this product. Pith and Stem have managed to create me a little working oasis with their cleverly designed desk. I cannot recommend it enough.

Plus their customer service team are remarkable and truly go above and beyond - the best customer experience I have had in a very long time!

Had a big crack in my countertop when it arrived. I emailed the support and attached the picture and they said they would ship a replacement 1 week ago but haven’t heard anything. I have emailed them several times for an update without any response. Was so excited to use my droptop but still haven’t been able to use it..

Received the desk after a long wait as everything is what they call “made to order”. Think they need a new measuring tape as nothing aligns and all looks very CHEAP. For something they are charging a premium for. I’d look elsewhere, if you’re after a premium desk.

I love my DropTop - it's not the cheapest desk but you really do get what you pay for in terms of quality and the concept. It's saved me having to move house or build an extension! It's an amazing piece of engineering and looks great as well. The team at Pith and Stem are really helpful and deal with any problems really promptly. The desks are produced to order so it can take a while - there were some problems at the factory when I ordered mine but they were really good at keeping me updated, and it was so worth the wait!

I just wanted to share that everything went well with the droptop receiving and installation.

Actually, everything since the beginning went perfectly!

Communication has always been easy and fluid all along the process. It’s very rare in the e-commerce nowadays.

The product is amazing and gorgeous, works perfectly and fits so well in my bedroom. It actually transformed my bedroom.

I will certainly purchase another droptop for another room later !

To conclude, I am very satisfied with my purchase, I know I’m purchasing quality and I will highly recommend this product around me.

Brilliant. Quality of this desk is great. At first I thought it may not hold on the wall but the way it's anchored is definitely reassuring. I've put it up on plaster board, but the way it's designed, it's not going anywhere lol. Delivery was very prompt and communication has been great!

I love my drop-top desk! It removes the clunky nature and clutter of a desk. It looks like a piece of decor and I loved customizing mine - you can even change the picture. I use it as a standing desk or with a drafting chair for the best of both worlds. It allows me to close up and leave work behind since I work mostly from home & it relaxes me (gone are the days of leaving the office, and the work behind as a clear boundary). Saves space (I live in NYC), and am super happy with my purchase!! Customer service was great as well when I asked for edits of the photo I chose, and super helpful/patient.

Customer service also really good and responsive and went out of their way to check on my order outside of normal requirements. Really helpful and understanding. Their name was Luke :)

UPDATE: I had some delays with my desk and some issues with customer service. However, I will say that the product itself is great and I do love the desk. I also received a call from the owner of the company apologizing for the issues. Ultimately, I would do business with this company again, because I love the product and believe that they are working to remedy the customer service issues.

The drop top table is just perfect! I use it in my extra room, so when I have guests over I can just close the table and put in an extra bed.

Also, their customer service is fabulous.

Still have not received my desk ordered on 5-10-2024. Was told 7-9 weeks when I ordered, we are now past 12. Customer support response is slow and I was told they were waiting on boxes that will arrive on 8-2 and my desk should ship then. I reached out very early on 8-2. I received no response and the product still has not shipped. Hopefully I receive it one of these days, we timed the ordering so it would be here by the time my wife had to start working from home. It now looks like it will miss that deadline.

I had to wait a bit to get my DropTop Duo but it was worth the wait! The quality is excellent, it has completely changed my work-from-home set-up and I can only recommend it to anyone needing a desk! The fact that I can fold it away at the end of the day, and that it just looks like artwork on my wall amazes me each and every single day. Great customer service, very responsive team. Not a bad thing to say at all!
