Petruth Paddocks Camping Arvostelua 

This campsite has something for everyone everything you need is available close by it is situated next door to a weekly market/ car boot and the staff are so friendly and helpful our dog even made friends there great weekend had by us all Thank you.

We’ve been to this site a few times now and we’ve always been happy with it. A shade pricey on the grass pitch (no electric) pitch. Also not a lover for paying for the recycling bucket as we’re always going to recycle in the correct way. That said it was a lovely, clean friendly site with very helpful staff. Many thanks.

Another fantastic visit. Staff are always so helpful and welcoming. Showers are hot and plentiful and toilets are clean. Always worth a visit.

Great location, glorious weather and friendly campsite

We had the best time at the Petruth paddocks! Camp spot was perfect for a walk around cheddar gorge! Excellent place, came with a friend this time will certainly be bringing the kids back!

what a fabulouse place was greeted by the lovely abbey and shown to my pitch services were amazing too with everything nearby quiet and peaceful can’t wait to return 🤓

Great customer service and a lovely site.
We were met at reception and got a briefing on the site set up and where everything was located. We were then free to park up wherever suited us. The site was fairly empty so we had plenty of choice. Bought a fire pit from site and was supplied a large bag of kindling and logs, along with a bundle of newspaper and a fire lighter. The 4G signal strength on site is excellent.
Owner called me a couple of nights before we stayed to check that we didn't want to cancel because of the cold weather forecast, which I thought was excellent. She warned us that the water may need to be shut off overnight so the pipes didn't freeze, but that there would still be a toilet available. So glad we went ahead. The sky was clear and you could see all the stars as the site is beautifully dark - the lights on the roadway were great (set into the ground so no light pollution). The only real evidence of the cold that I saw was in the showers where there was an icicle on the tap and the ceiling was covered in ice drops. Easily cleared with the squeegee supplied. Overall, we had a fabulous time and will be back when the weather is warmer!

Good set up, really close to an excellent brewery

Absolutely fantastic site. This is my second time here and it did not disappoint. Laid back and relaxed. Met on arrival by Jules who could not be more welcoming and accommodating. Toilet facilities amazing, well kept. Would definitely recommend this site to family and friends.

Great welcome, really good site!

Helpful team, good facilities and logical signage all contributed to a restful stay. The hands-on management in evidence gave re-assurance for a future family visit. Of personal interest are the many hills and walks within range...loads to be explored next time!

Little disappointed to be kept awake til 1 with the music from another camper but that happens on all campsites.

Had a lovely weekend Jules was great as always, it's a good quite place to stay close to a micro pub and a twenty minute walk to cheddar

Super-friendly, well-organised site in a great location.

A very warm welcome from Jules with lots of pointers for where to go locally and on our route home. The site was quiet during February half-term, but the cleanliness of the site was maintained despite fewer guests. Toilets and showers are in units rather than bespoke building, so are a little cold, but very clean with plenty of hot water. It is a very child-friendly site with plenty of space and dogs are both welcomed and fussed! The atmosphere was laid back across the site but equally, Jules was around and about for any issues or concerns, with a phone number provided if needed.
The location is excellent for a walk into Cheddar to explore the gorge, and there is also a very welcoming tap room a short stroll away.
