Money was taken from my credit card but when I called to chase delivery I discovered that the order couldn't actually be fulfilled for many weeks . So, I cancelled the order by phone and then also by a follow up email. Two weeks later they now tell me that my cancellation of the order and refund request is "on a spreadsheet" awaiting action. I have advised the company that if I do not receive my refund within the next seven days I will be pursuing a refund via my credit card company. I am left wondering whether this company is accepting orders that it knows it can't fulfil in a timely manner and then deliberately holding onto payments instead of providing refunds? I don't know the answer but I would advise being extremely wary before ordering from this company as something seems to be seriously amiss. I really wish that I had checked out the reviews in advance.

Do not recommend that anyone uses this company. I am astonished they are still operational and permitted to take money.
I ordered an item costing £124.95 including delivery on 31st August. I cancelled the order within the given timeframe only to be told I couldn’t cancel because the order was dispatched 1st September. I could send the item back when I received it for a full refund. Needless to say the item has never arrived and I have had conflicting information in emails from the company but all communication has now stopped. My next stop is to register a complaint against the company with financial ombudsman. I urge other disgruntled customers to do the same.
Update as of 16/10/23
The company have issued a reply today saying their head office has issued a full refund on 9/10/23. Unfortunately I have not received this refund and wish customers to know that they make false statements obviously to make themselves look good. Don’t be fooled!!

I have received an email from the company this morning confirming my full refund for THE WRONG AMOUNT TO THE WRONG CARD NUMBER!!!

despite my asking numerous times for refund on goods not received and this company not responding or giving me a cash refund apart from the usual (non reply response about getting back to you ) this does not happen and I am now contemplating taking legal steps to obtain my money back, what a shame this company is behaving in such an unprofessional way they are devolping a very bad reputation and there email responses are full of empty promises

Online service including personal account history has been „temporarily unavailable for months“, customer service telephone gave wrong, conflicting information, status info of outstanding purchases was often postponed and in the end, the item wasn’t even available. Delivery information was not accurate. They have much to do to restore consumer confidence!

I ordered some trainers from Peter Hahn on 18th August. On 28th August £51.51was debited from my account by the company.
On 7th September I received an email from Peter Hahn saying that they could not fulfil my order because of a “system error” but no payment would have been taken as the goods had not been despatched.
I immediately replied saying that I had already been charged and had not received the trainers.
I have had no response and no refund from Peter Hahn since I wrote two weeks ago informing them of the situation.
Not only does the company take money for goods that they cannot supply but does not refund that money knowing that a mistake has been made.

Placed an order on the 30th August and payment was taken in full on 1st September, which I took to mean that the order had been processed and would be delivered shortly afterwards.
Emailed on the 6th to chase, had an automated response and then an email on the 8th saying that they were escalating my query to head office as it should have been dispatched. Not had anything further and my order still hasn't arrived. I really wanted the items for my holiday so ordered in plenty of time but I'm not holding much hope now. Pretty poor.................

Great fan of Peter Hahn however lots of negative remarks of late but I'm really happy with my experience, returned item on Monday and refund £250 in my bank today Saturday, now that's what I call service...well done Peter Hahn

My experience is so similar to many others on Trust
Pilot. Placed 2 orders and told payment failed yet I have been in contact with bank who have assured me no problem with card and no attempts made by Peter Hahn to draw funds. I have repeatedly phoned giving my card details and an alternative card yet orders still not processed. I have been promised call backs to no avail. Worst on line shopping experience ever, such a pity due to good quality items, unfortunately not backed up with good customer service. Avoid unless you wish to spend several hours out of your day hanging on phone to be fobbed off with different excuses 😂

If I could give zero I would. Place a reasonable sized order, told everything was in stock and be delivered. Nothing!! Emailed them, told order would be received in week. Nothing!!! Finally called them, told items were NEVER in stock, would not be back in stock and that they had never placed order with suppiers. What a shambles. Take my advice and avoid like the plague.

Ordered a bag at a great price could not find in stock elsewhere, delivery Royal Mail reasonable time (is notes on website that may be coming form abroad), really pleased with packaging and product, thank you 😊

Still not been contacted by Peter Hahn nor have I had a refund I have written to CEO Germany and will ask my credit card company to deal with it now

I have purchased a number of items from this store because they do have a really good selection of items (mainly clothing). However, their system and customer service sucks!!!! They cannot do a basic delivery properly. It has been a nightmare waiting and chasing them for my orders which was shipped without the first line of address so Royal Mail returned it to them and was promised that they will send it back to me via DPD express (next day delivery) as soon as they receive it. It has been 10 days since they have received my parcels and I still don't have them. It has been more than a month since the items were initially dispatched and I have been charged for these purchases - more than 10x calls and emails to follow up and I still don't have the items I ordered! I don't think they are capable of running an online business if they can't even do a basic shipment and delivery of items properly! I'll never ever buy anything from Peter Hahn again!!!! Stay away from this and save yourself from all the unnecessary stress and misery!

Similar experience to me. Finally sent email confirming an almost £200 refund. Sent them 4 emails, phoned 4 times to be told they were scammed. They emailed asking for my last 4 digits of Credit Card. Replied asking them to ring me to confirm who they were. Heard nothing.

I returned goods, to the value of circa £800 + to this company on 22nd June. I subsequently had to provide proof of their receiving them. After several exchanges of email, they confirmed head office had processed my return. I still await my refund.
I emailed five people today, at the company, all of which have emailed me with promises that have not been kept. I'm in despair

I april 2023 købte jeg en jakke hos Peter Hahn. Da jakken passede ikke, blev den returneret med det samme. Kundeservicen bekræftede modtagelsen af varen. Siden april kan jeg ikke få mine udgifter refunderet, og kundeservice kan ikke sige, hvornår jeg få pengene retur. Der var ikke noget problem at trække penge fra min konto, men det er et kæmpe stort problem at sende dem tilbage.

I shall be visiting my UK address for 3 weeks. (I live abroad.) I had decided to order several ‘Green Cotton’ dresses, but have changed my mind in the light of such poor reviews re delivery time. If I could be assured of delivery within the 3 weeks window, I would order.

Despite 6 negative reviews, I am still waiting for £1122.30 for returns from 3rd and 6th of May. On 13th July you told me this was with head office and was being dealt with. I have still not received
my refund. What do I have to do?
If money is not clearing please pay directly into my bank account, I have given my phone number on last 3 emails. Don't ask me to call or email I have done this 15 times. Please call ME to solve this matter.
Buyers avoid.

I’ve purchased many items from Peter Hahn over the last 18 months and found their clothes are mainly great. Shoes not so good. Suddenly I am able to buy stylish clothes suitable for my age and size.

However, none of the comments about long delivery times and refunds surprise me, and I have decided to stop purchasing Peter Hahn clothes. If I can see there is a genuine improvement in customer service then I will buy again. This company needs a good shake-up.

The only alternative is to get a cheap flight to Germany and buy a whole load of clothes! Spain is good too for clothes shopping.

Have previously complained about length of delivery time and had response saying 8-10 working days is their ‘new’ schedule. Well today I received a pair of shoes ordered so long ago I had forgotten about them. What on earth is going on ?

Returned trousers 31/07/23 as they were not a good fit.As I had not heard if trousers had been received I sent e-mail If took them a few days to reply and I was advised they had no record of receiving and requesting I sent proof of Postage. They now advise me that item has been received, however their system is not clearing? and apologise. Is Peter Hahn going into liquidation? Rosemary Crawford
