Customer Service was amazing!
Hello, I wanted to get a new Blue tang fish for my office saltwater tank and decided to go to Petco in Piscataway. The young lady Bella was beyond amazing with catching the fish that was inside there large 120 gallon tank filled with other fish and live rock. It took at least 30 mins to catch this fish with moving around the live rock and avoiding the other fish. While working on this she was also assisting others at the sametime that had questions about other items. Bella friendliness and customer service should be commended by Petco. Just wanted to let them know she is a "Rock Star" of and employee and gave me and my friend the level of Disney World customer Service. Greatly appreciated and this will be my go to pet store for all my pet needs.
Petco is a scam
Whatever you do, do NOT sign up for vital care premier account, my husband and I were given false information that we could cancel the plan anytime, but that is not the case at all. We were forced into a plan that was impossible to cancel for an entire year and the cost is not budget friendly! We called multiple times to try and explain that we were misled by an employee who promised us cancellation at any time, but they didn’t care at all. The rewards do not roll over to the next month either so essentially they’re just bleeding your own pockets dry with little benefit. The rewards do not always apply to products and even when I did make a hefty $60 purchase I received no reward benefits, so this membership felt completely useless. The prices are also hiked up, you’re much better off browsing Ross or Marshalls for very affordable and high-quality pet products. Overall, Petco feels very much like a scam, especially since they made it almost impossible to even disable the auto renew feature on the vital care premier plan, the app was extremely difficult to use, and the deactivate auto renewal button was not working on the app, nor was it working on the website. We had to call and wait on the line for a while to sinply deactivate the auto renewal feature. Really feels like Petco targets and takes advantage of their customers, which is the fastest way to lose customer loyalty. Taking advantage of customers Who love their pets needs to stop. We will no longer give them any business, and will certainly discourage all of our fellow friends to do the same.

I am very unhappy at the lack of empathy and compassion the hospital office manager showed our pet Lexi today in Palm Bay Florida. When I had questions about a specific med, she proceeded to tell me about her budget and that she wasn’t ordering a pill for one dog( speaking of my pet - their client) she didn’t come in room to explain any alternatives- she explained a budget. Listen here- you will not get far in life not treating customers in an unprofessional manner. She was very distasteful with her behavior, interpersonal skills as well as customer service - she never apologized and she dismissed me by placing her hand up in the air and proceeding on with her day!

Worst website ever. Laboriously added 11 items to cart. Went to check out as guest. All the items disappeared. Tried again and created account. My cart has 11 items in it, but if I click on the cart it is empty. Seriously they should hire someone like American Eagle to completely gut and redo website
Wrong order
Ordered a 2 bag order of Diamond Naturals Lamb and Rice from Amazon. The order was sent to PETCO to be filled. 5 days order arrived in PETCO boxes with return address on sticker from a PETCO Warehouse. When I opened BOTH boxes it was Chicken and Rice. Contacted local Petco and was told they could not do anything to make it right because we paid Amazon for it directly. The sales associate said I could call corporate but didnt think anything could be done and AMAZON WILL NOT TAKE IT BACK ..PERIOD. So now I will donate it to our local shelter

Repeat Delivery
I've been having repeat delivery for years but no more. Advantix tick and flea is what has been delivered. Last month I went to administrate this med to my dog. Two drops came out. Figuring it was an accident I left it go. This time the same thing happened and I called Petco to see my options. They said they would not take it back after a month. So they wanted to see what happened. How could I prove that 2 drops came out? So I asked the next time when I get my delivery in order to check it what did he want me to do squeeze out all the tubes to see if there is enough and he said yes. I told him that was ridiculous and hung up. I will not do repeat delivery with them again. I cancelled my repeat deliver.
Don't waste your hard earned money on services you won't receive
I am discouraging ANYONE from paying for training classes provided by PETCO. I was a loyal returning customer in years previous. I've taken 3 puppies through the training with Petco and I was happy with the service provided. But This time I am the furthest from satisfied you could be. First off I had to try over and over to pay for the group online. Their payment processing wouldn't work for 4 days straight (maybe a sign from God I shouldnt have kept trying because man I regret the effort and time and money I spent to get these training classes. The First group the trainer talked about herself and did basically no training and then sent me home with a sheet of paper telling me what I needed to teach my dog over the next week as " homework" with little explaining. If I wanted to have to figure out how to train my dog all on my own I'd of saved my money and watched YouTube videos which is ultimately what I've resorted to doing and they have been WAY MORE INFORMATIVE AND FREE! I contacted customer service and requested a partial refund since I had gone to some "training" but after numerous attempts to get help resolving I again contacted requesting a full refund and expressing my absolute disappointment with the company's response and services. To which I have still after 3 weeks received ABSOLUTELY NO RESPONSE WHATSOEVER. What's worse is I bought multiple training classes at the same time so not only have I lost money but I've lost a large amount of money for a ton of training my puppy isn't going to receive. I can't speak for every Petco location but I warn against putting your hard earned money into specifically the BONNEY LAKE WASHINGTON location with trainer KIM. Nothing against her personally but she's not doing what Petco promised in her "training services '

I used to be able to browse the website so I could check and see if an item might be in stock or not. Now they literally make it impossible to check anything as your stopped seconds later and forced to make an account if you don't already have one. There is no bypassing it either, it'll redirct you there each time. And by loginning in or making an acccount you agree to whatever terms they updated to. There is no option to tell them no. It's just a sign up or no access. I'm sorry, just no.
OUT DATED FOOD CONSTANTLY!
We have ordered food and treats from Petco for some time and was always hit or miss when it came to receiving quality product. This latest shipment arrived on time but had expired by several months. Called in for a correction, apologies as usual and would send out the three bags of replacements. They arrived today and all three had expired with an older date than on the first batch.
This isn't the first time and beginning to think they have a policy that's it's ok to ship expired food to their customers, waste the shipping fees as they expect customers won't notice. Maybe they're receiving significant discounts to take expiring food food from the manufacturer in the hopes they can move it at better margin. Completely unacceptable and if this was human food, it would need to be taken off the shelf.

Well, what can I say, I had horrible experience, so if you are thinking about getting your dog groomed, Petco Albany, Oregon not the best place for this, terrible service and work, even if you pay extra, for extra shedding ( extra 15 minutes brush out) they will return your dog completely uncombed, half wet and they will be rude to you if you ask for explanation. I highly do not recommend their grooming service and especially groomer Kylie L.
Don’t Waste your time over 3 hours , money 75$ and such bad experience is extra stress for your dog.
Honestly it was the worst grooming experience in my life.

Never again will I make an appointment. The first appointment I made they canceled because the groomer was sick that was Monday of this week so I made another appointment for Thursday afternoon and I received a pone on the morning of and they decided to cancel again because of a family emergency. I was shocked. My dog had a bath appointment about 2 weeks ago, and we were few minutes behind to make it. I called the petco location in poway san diego (where I booked an appointment) and told them I will be late for 15 mins. They said it is fine and just came over and they would let the groomer know. When I got there, they didn't let me in. The manager of the salon was so rude, and instead of apologizing, she kept saying that she couldn't let me in. She just told me that I was late 2 other times before as well. I told them I won't ever book a grooming with their salon. but the worst part is here, when I came out of salon, I called another Petco to book an appointment and what happened was the booking person told me that I am not in the system and apparently, I was kicked out the system of booking forever from Petco. The manager of Poway just eliminated me from Petco forever. I called the petco customer service to complain about what happened, but they haven't gotten back to me yet with the result.

THEY ONLY ISSUE AN IN STORE CREDIT AFTER 30 DAYS, THEY REFUSE TO ISSUE AN ELECTRONIC CREDIT SO YOU CAN SHOP ONLINE LIKE A PERSON WHO LIVES IN THE FUTURE. I would rate this store at a "zero" if I could. I signed my puppy up for a set of 6 training classes in January. We attended two, at which time we were informed that another dog would be joining the class the next week. The next week we had a tasting for our wedding and advised the trainer of this. She said it was no problem because then the other dog could catch up to where we were at with our puppy.
These classes were not in consecutive weeks. We found out that we had to wait and see if we got a text message indicating that there would be a class on Sunday. We showed up a couple of times and were told that there was no class as our instructor wasn't working that day. We were then informed that if we didn't get a text, which came 1 or 2 days before the class, that there would be no class.
Unfortunately, due to missing the text the next week, we mistakenly didn't show up. We stopped in and talked to our trainer about missing the class and if we could make it up, and she said she would talk to the manager. When we showed up for the next class that was texted to us, our trainer indicated that the manager, Alex, had said that we had missed too many classes and we could not continue the class. There was no offer of a refund or makeup of any kind.
Alex refuses to call us to discuss the matter, and we even stopped in to talk to him, but were directed to another acting manager who said she would ask Alex to call us.
I have never attended any class of any sort where the classes are not consecutive and regular and you have to wait for a text to see if you had a class or not. Ridiculous I will be seeking further remedy to recoup the $119 I paid for 6 classes.
