Always fond of Papa Johns and never disappointed. Last nights order made me change my mind and will think twice before I order again. Last night ordered two pizzas from Poplar shop and pizza came in so cold that the cheese on top turned into rubber. The dough was very hard and my stuffed crust cheese was not edible anymore. £30 for two pizzas that we ended up eating only 1 after we had to reheat it in our oven, is not good enough for Papa Johns.

Pizza came like warm and tasteless... Very disappointed

Wouldnt give a refund after complaining,called customer services they didnt care.

PJs is not what it used to be and we won't be ordering any more food from here. From our experience:

Online ordering process and delivery timeframe was great, that's where the satisfaction stopped IMO.

Largest pizzas have diminished in size in all dimensions, the two we bought appeared flat and lifeless with small topping layers and a little cold.

One of the pizzas with BBQ topping, was quoted by one of our diners, as 'tasting like toothpaste'. It definitely had an odd overpowering tinge IMO also.

Boxes arrived a little dented with seal stickers peeled up on lids. possibly happened in transit who knows.

A little expensive even with 35% off listed price.

Conclusively I won't be buying from them again!

Placed order at 6. Not delivered by 7:30, rang the branch - Exeter St Thomas and was told delivery driver couldn’t find address which is ridiculous as it is in a well known area, a well known road and a house with a number in the middle of the street. I was told the order was on the way. When it arrived at ten to 8, there were only 2 pizzas. The order was for 3. We sent the order back and called the store to ask for a refund. No apology was given and I’m not convinced I’ll get my refund. It is a shame we received such poor service as we have bought pizzas from there many times and the pizzas are good. Will not be buying pizzas from them again.

RUBBISH. Seriously don’t waste your money here. Food is delayed as always, pizza cold, hardly any toppings… I think its heir objective is to deliver the worst pizza in the longest amount of time. Madness as to why I ordered from them after so many years. You know I thought they might have sorted themselves out but NO.

Very disappointed, I have been ordering from here for a while now. placed an order today, and they have now suddenly decided that where I live is too far away to deliver. Very short on the phone and shouldn't allow order to be placed for delivery if the area is not available.

The pizza was not properly cooked .it arrived cold and it had the wrong topping .also the cheddar filled crust is revolting.it is not cheddar is some plastic red cheese .how did Papa John got so bad .what is wrong in west ealing ?every pizza place delivers raw pizza .!!!!

Well, I'm not surprised. Your reputation preceded you.
You care about your competition more than you care about your loyal customers.
Your offers are a sham, you deliberately make delivery one p more than a nice offer.
I'm sorry to have said this, because papajohnes was my favourite pizza and they don't seem to care.

Amazing service on arrival and collection. My order was fresh extremely tasty and great value due to the deal I selected. I will definitely be ordering from the Long Eaton restaurant again soon.

I ordered pizza from Papa John’s Rayleigh for my two children and my elderly grandad, as the rest of our family ordered from a different takeaway.

During the night and into the following day, all three were violently sick and suffering from diarrhoea, with constant vomiting. I had no choice but to keep my children off school the next day.

I contacted Papa John’s Rayleigh to explain what had happened and request a refund. They were completely unhelpful, showed no remorse, and took no responsibility whatsoever. I was refused any information on how to escalate this to management.

I am absolutely disgusted by both the food quality and the customer service. I will never order from here again. The hygiene standards are clearly questionable, and I will be reporting this to the health authorities.

I keep trying to give this pizza company another chance and they keep failing. So now I won't be ordering from them again. On average delivery takes nearly an hour. When the food arrives it is lukewarm and goes cold very quickly. When you call they tell you the delivery man is just arriving to pick the order up, when you phone again 10 minutes later they same the same...so they are not being truthful. Don't bother with them.

Ordered via the app for a collection order from Ditton, Maidstone to find out i was charged £14 for a large pizza to collect what a con went onto fb live chat to get assistance and was as much use as a chocolate tea pot refused to help me in any way shape or form. No wonder domineos is better then this shoddy place. Also I had a code to get a free starter when I put it in said was invalid

My family and I have been long time fans of Papa John's but our last 3 orders have been disappointing to say the least. No issues with delivery etc, it's the pizza itself, the standard of quality just seems to have dropped for some reason and it seems much pricier. Sad to say but we will be looking for a new pizza place.

Over 90 mins for a pizza delivery - stone cold food, and a stuffed crust which wasn’t ordered and really unpleasant. Couldn’t make contract with the Banstead shop - they kept hanging up. Have tried to make contact with customer services as I want a refund due to the fact the food is inedible and I had to make other arrangements to feed family.

I would give no star if I could ordered from the sunderland branch a couple of times before and been lovely ordered tonight and what a different 28 pound for two pizzas to be thrown in the bin absolutely vile very greasy smoky ham false mozzarella (probably to cut corners to make it cheaper) I can't get the taste of grease out of my mouth.
Had a slice out of each pizza then straight in the bin.

Had a pizza order the bill is always around £32 ish got a leaflet with it saying 60% off so next order I asked they said do it through app so I downloaded the dodgy app and ordered put in the code and it came to the same amount this is the worst kind of company breaking the law I have taken photos and will pursue it further I won’t mention the franchise because they are usually very quick and hot but they should not put a leaflet on every order saying 60% off
