Missed 1 payment and had an email notifying me that action would be taken. All of overdales numbers that are automated and have 2/3 people saying different names then each one says they can't hear you and end the call, even when you call from multiple numbers. Absolute joke, if they're not willing to speak to you how can you resolve it. Surely there's some form of being treated unfairly in this circumstance given the context numbers situation, the FCA will be hearing about this

Tried ringing several times to re set up a direct debit i have been paying on my mum’s behalf as I’ve had a new bank card.
I can’t find the reference number so ringing the number is totally pointless as won’t give me any options without having the reference.
I have sent three emails over a week period now asking them to get in contact and still heard nothing back.
Terrible service.

Received wrong CCJ paid it full within a month (£1.3k)while investigating. My tenancy has finished. Can’t find a place because of referencing as Overdales is not notifying the court that the CCj has been satisfied. Basically homeless because of them. Please sort this out ASAP

Been 1 day and I missed my phone bill which is due every month (£20) . I received a very rude and obnoxious email saying they will take action by send round debt collectors! Embarrassment of a company , and btw I’ve just payed my £20

I am a veteran with cptsd,and heart problems.I received a letter out of the blue from this firm who said I owe money from twenty years ago.to a phone company who I am still with,paying d/devery month.They have added interest to dept ,which I believe I don't,t have.I get a war pension ,and pip.And they have reg a CCJ against me.(I don't,t need a mortgage,credit card ,or a phone contract.)I don't know where I will get the money from to pay this so called dept.

Another company who think they can send you threatening letters and demands for payment without any explanation. Never even heard of the company they say I owe money to. No I'm not contacting your company BTW. Just the ombudsman and my solicitor if necessary.

Made huge payment over 3 weeks ago, not been applied to account and I’ve emailed them 10 times and not a single response. What a shocking company to deal with. Will be seeking legal advice and speaking to ombudsman as you are clearly operating illegally.

Their telling me I owe any debt to id mobile, which I know I cancelled in 2021, not heard from id in years and then all of a sudden six months ago I was sent an email saying I owe 190 pounds re my contract. The phone number they gave I hardly recognised. It definitely wasn't mine. Starting to think their some kind of scammer as why would it take so long for a collection agency to get in touch?

This company is scam. They have been writing to me claiming I owe debts to companies that I don’t owe any money. They have never provided any evidence of the original contract with the company they claim I owe, non have they supplied me with any proof of how the debt was generated.. non have they supplied evidence of any paperwork giving them the rights to act for these companies. They are scammers who harass you and I’m considering taking legal action against them for the stress and harassment.

This shoddy company were instructed to recover the debt of a family member. They undertook NO checks to ascertain their correct address and issued proceedings on my mother’s address. The person had not lived with her for some 9 years!!! He leaves debt everywhere he goes he gives out my mother’s address but he can be quickly found on electoral roll search, which they couldn’t be bothered to do! So my elderly mother gets the proceedings at her house, my mother has never had debt always pays her bills on time the threat of bailiffs terrified her she called this shoddy company and said she would pay it so as to avoid the bailiffs. No affordability or vulnerability checks were done. My mother paid this debt with her saving stage had set aside for her funeral so she would not be a burden to her family! After weeks of not being able to eat/sleep and leave the house she finally confided in me what had happened she had kept it quiet from the family so as not to cause worry and went through all this stress by herself! They knowingly took money from an old lady, it wasn’t her debt and their attitude on receiving our complaint of their handling has been nothing short of rude/cold hearted unprofessionalism they stand by the fact that they have taken the money from her and are proud in their work! How they sleep at night I’ve no idea! I’d give no stars if I could I am going to report them to the Legal Ombudsman now!

We were contacted by Oversales in June 2024 about an account with EDF Energy.
The account related to energy usage at a premises in Birmingham which we had vacated on 23rd June 2023, having informed EDF on that day of a final reading, having given notice to cancel our account.
EDF did not respond to our request for a final settlement, which we estimated and settled on 24th July 2023. We made repeated requests for a final bill and a reconcilliation of our direct debit payments.
Nothing further was heard from EDF, including responses to our complaints for 12 months when we received a threatening email from Overdales.
We contacted Overdales with details of our account, including requests for information and to acknowledge payments made. Overdales were not able to acknowledge our payments to EDF.
We made an offer of a final settlement which was refused. We have been sent repeated threats of legal action, which we refute.
We have asked Overdales to PLEASE CEASE AND DESIST ALL CALLS AND CONTACT WITH US VIA EMAILS IMMEDIATELY.
We have incurred unnecessary expenses having sought advice which we shall endeavour to recover from Overdales.
To sum up; Overdales are using bullying tactics to extort funds from unfortunates.

Hard to work with. Sent them an offer of settlement and not even had a response rejecting it. Ignored my further emails which merely asked, politely, for a response or a timeframe for a response if they can’t deal with it now.

Strange to send letters that threaten legal action and then not deal with you in a fair manner as per their statutory obligation???? Ignoring appropriate and timely correspondence in light of their threat of pending legal action does not seem fair?? Or reasonable?

I was scammed when I was young in college, explained it to them and I don’t know what happened to it, 15 years later they are still on my case. They gave me a CCJ that I can’t even RENT or get ANYTHING finance. I struggled and paid £250 every month for 5/6 months and have a remaining £250 which apparently is not on my online account because Iv just gotten an email saying they will give me ANOTHER CCJ.
Please have some humility, the living situation in London is so bad. I went hungry for days to manage and pay it off and all for getting another CCJ and why is it not on my online account?

I think this company needs to be reviewed. Sounds like a scam, and they seem to prey on the vulnerable.

Just received a letter from overdales I’ve sent numerous emails with no response back. They have also stated my employment could be terminated if I do not pay. Is this a scam

This "company" is a criminal organisation specialising in fraud, extortion, and malfeasance.
In the case of these "solicitors", they are in-house, paid by LOWELL, to do nothing more than threaten gullible people.

I advise anyone who is paying LOWELL to stop! There is a registered complaint against them with the financial ombudsman.

They have no legal or lawful right to conduct their "business". No debt is being paid, Lowell and Overdales are collecting the money for themselves. If you doubt this get the book: The Title is Unimportant by P Michael Yates. Read it and fight back!

Regulated by the F.C.A? it was the F.C.A. that referred me to the financial ombudsman after reviewing my evidence. They told me that given the seriousness of the situation an independent investigation is required. Debt collection Agencies ARE criminal organisations.

I will leave a review here every time Lowell send illegal demands for money to my address, and of course after the ombudsman SHUTS THEM DOWN!

Got a demand from Overdales for an amount supposedly still owed to an energy supplier on a commercial property sold last December. There were a number of meters, so it took a little time to finalise, agree and then pay the bill 5 months ago. Suddenly out of the blue an Overdales email demanding money still owed to the supplier, with no bill attached, just the threat of court proceedings.
So I wanted to phone to find what the demand related to. Guess what - an 0333 number.
