My experience with OTTO Work Force has been extremely disappointing from start to finish. What is promised during recruitment does not match the reality once you arrive. The information about working conditions, hours, and accommodation feels incomplete and overly optimistic.
The housing provided was far below expectations. It felt overcrowded, poorly organized, and lacking basic comfort. Maintenance issues were slow to be resolved, and communication about problems was frustrating and unclear.
Regarding the job itself, the pressure is high and the support is minimal. Workers often feel like they are just numbers in a system rather than people. Communication can be inconsistent, and getting clear answers about schedules, payments, or deductions can be difficult.
Overall, the experience has been stressful and disappointing. I would not recommend this agency to anyone who values transparency, stability, and decent living conditions.

Worst people on earth,imigrants hating on another imigrants,they neglect you until the the company says you need to go,if something does happen to you they will not give you a place to stay or anything,they rob your payments until the very last day,racist and homophobics,the manager in stramproy is know to have a room where he and his friends do heavy drugs and sell them,this person is also very rude and unprofessional,biased in his action,they gaslight and manipulate you

La experiencia ha sido nefasta. Al principio ellos te dicen que se encargan de todo el papeleo, ellos te gestionan el seguro y todo para trabajar. El problema es cuando nos hemos ido de allí mi pareja y yo (puesto que la casa daba asco y pagábamos 800€ por habitación en una casa compartida en condiciones deplorables) y nos hemos topado con que tenemos nosotros que darnos de baja del seguro. Como no vivimos de alquiler ni estamos trababajando actualmente nos dicen que no nos pueden dar de baja porque necesitan un comprobante de que no estamos viviendo en el país. Les hemos comentado la situación y aún así no nos quieren dar de baja y nos seguirán cobrando indefinidamente. Se lo hemos comentado a Otto y nos han dado la espalda. Además, nos han mentido en diversas ocasiones. Por ejemplo, nos dijeron que las horas de extras las íbamos a cobrar y la mitad de los días nos han hecho firmar obligatoriamente un papel como que nos íbamos de manera voluntaria a casa y nos podían quitar por tanto las horas extras acumuladas. No hemos cobrado ni una ni nosotros ni nuestros compañeros. Mi pareja y yo hemos trabajado exactamente el mismo número de horas y en la última nómina a mi me han pagado 100€ menos y sigo a la espera de una explicación. Trabajar con ellos me ha traído más problemas que beneficios, no sé lo recomendaría a nadie

I am a former worker recruited by OTTO Workforce in the Netherlands.

During my employment, I was subjected to unfair labor conditions, lack of transparency regarding wages, psychological pressure, and unsafe living and working conditions.

I believe OTTO Workforce systematically violates labor laws affecting migrant workers, relying on fear, language barriers, and dependency on housing and transport.

I have documented evidence including messages, payment records, and testimonies that support these claims and I am willing to provide them upon request.

I respectfully request that the Nederlandse Arbeidsinspectie investigate this matter.

They treat people worse than animals, will step on people just to make some money. They can not solve the problems professionally and you need almost to put on your knees to solve your needs and problems. They do not care about the fact that you have a life and they think they can change the people whenever they need and the accommodation in random places, and not give you time to think or to pack your stuff.

I have had very bed experience with Otto workforce. We signed contract (electronically) and they next day they broke it. I've been them 1 week and then i left. I was promised work (worked only 1 day) didn't get any, I was promised working safety shoes I didn't get any.
I didn't get paid for q day of work, nonetheless I had to pay to Otto workforce a but less then 130 euro for I don't even know what.
I highly Don't recommend this company.
They are not fiar, they lie.
The worst agency there is.
Plus living with them 1 week was like the Gulag.
Dirty, stinky, messy,
4 people in 2 rooms. One of the rooms has no window. You sleep with a fresh air.

OTTO Work Force is not just a bad experience — it can be unsafe and stressful. Communication is poor, decisions change without explanation, and employees are treated as easily replaceable. I strongly advise against working here.

I have work for them and they scam me at money , they told me a price and I have receive something else ,

Worst agency ever. Them have illegal behaviour like didn't accept your sickness. When them gonna fired you them gonna keep all the money then own to you. Them make you rent a bike (which the cost gonna be 100 euro deposit, which you never gonna see back and gonna give to you a 5 euro work of bike) I advise to stay fair away from this agency. Good only if you didn't have a home and you need a place where to stay. When I get fired them say to me I'm not allowed to get the money back ( 30 leave hour and 100 euro deposit) . Not only them are asking me 223 euro which of course I will never give them back. REPAT IS THE WORST AGENCY .

I have not worked at this company, but I am neighbours to one of their offices. A manager from there yelled even at me!

Feeling unwell? Don’t worry — Otto Workforce staff are trained in the ancient art of unsolicited medical advice. Call in sick with genuine pain, and instead of empathy, you’ll be interrogated like you’re auditioning for Grey’s Anatomy. They’ll bully you to drag yourself back to work, because nothing says ‘we care’ like treating your health as an inconvenience.

And the masterminds behind this circus? Enter Frank van Gool, the Dutch visionary, and his wife Karolina Swoboda, the Polish strategist. Legend has it Karolina whispered to Frank about the ‘goldmine’ of shady business opportunities: cheap labor from the poor European countries. Together they built an empire where exploitation isn’t a bug — it’s the main feature.

Diversity and fairness? Oh, they’ve mastered that too — by filling nearly all coordinator positions with Polish staff who graciously provide preferential treatment to their fellow countrymen. Everyone else gets the privilege of learning what it feels like to be invisible. It’s workplace favoritism elevated to an Olympic sport.

In short, Otto Workforce is a shining beacon of how bad service can be when it’s truly committed. If you’re searching for disappointment, frustration, and a crash course in how low standards can go, look no further. Five stars for consistency in being terrible — they never fail to fail. Honestly, if incompetence were a brand, Otto Workforce would be its flagship store. I used to be open‑minded and tolerant of everyone. History lessons about what Hitler and Stalin did to Poland made me shake my head in disbelief. But after my time with Otto Workforce, I’ve started getting the unhealthy thinking that they might've had it coming.

A recruitment company that promises one thing in the job offer and another in terms of accommodation, they accommodated me in a miserable basement, without ventilation, with another person, a horrible experience, everything at my own expense, plane flights, return to the airport... be careful when choosing a recruitment company

Entrevistas interminables, siempre hay una última entrevista... muy lentos en responder, nivel de inglés absurdo para un puesto de "colocar cajas en un almacén" te dicen que estás aceptada para el puesto y en último momento te regañan literalmente si sacas tú billete 5 días antes... no me quiero imaginar si hubiera tenido un problema en el extranjero a esa mujer solucionándolo. Te hacen sentir mal. Me alegro de haber rechazado su oferta después de lo que estoy leyendo. En solo 50 minutos ya tenía mi plaza confirmada por escrito con otra ETT y toda la documentación y coordinación en mis manos.

I'm glad I rejected their offer after what I'm reading.
Endless interviews, there's always one last interview... very slow to respond, absurd level of English for a job "placing boxes in a warehouse," they tell you you're accepted for the job, At the last minute, they literally scold you if you book your ticket five days in advance... I don't even want to imagine what would have happened if I'd had a problem abroad with that woman trying to solve it. They make you feel awful. In just 50 minutes I had my position confirmed in writing with another temporary employment agency and all the documentation and coordination in my hands.

Dopiero zacząłem pracę dla Otto i nie polecam. Mimo że wysłałem im BSN kilkukrotnie dostałem 48e 1szej wyplaty. Pierw próbowali wmówić że to moja wina bo nie dałem BSN. Powiedziałem, że mam pożyczkę oraz chodzę głodny to powiedzieli żebym zapomniał że dostanę w tym tyg. kase i czekał jak piesek. W swej wspanialomyslnosci powiedzieli, że mogę przecież jeść w pracy. Z tej samej wyplaty, której jescze nie widziałem ukradli mi 30e (scam) za "zepsuty rower". SCAM ten w moim przypadku wyglądał tak, że przywieźli mi uszkodzony rower. Ja wyjechałem na ulice do sklepu i po około 50m dętka wybuchła. Niezwłocznie zadzwoniłem to zgłosić i dostałem karę. Zmieniają planing w środku tygodnia a przecież nie mam obowiązku sprawdzać codziennie apki. Ogólnie od 1szego dnia sprawdzają na ile mogą sobie pozwolic i na ile mnie oszukać więc i ja zaczynam.

@edit: zakończyłem współpracę, oddalem rower a oni ukradli moją kaucję 100e i nękają mnie żebym zapłacił im 300e! W biurze mają to głęboko gdzieś, kazali porozumieć się z gościem od rowerów a on też nie odpowiada. Ogólnie to wyłudzają i kradną pieniądze.

I would like to share my negative experience with the recruitment agency Otto Force. I believe that I was treated abusively and unprofessionally, which is why I want to publicly report these issues.

I was recruited from Romania for a job in the Netherlands through this agency. Upon arrival, I was accommodated in an unsuitable space, located in an attic, shared with three other men, in squalid conditions and with their use of prohibited substances. Although I temporarily accepted these conditions, after about a week and a half the agency decided to move me out of the city and from my workplace, reasoning that my height (1.65 m) "does not meet their working conditions".

In the new location, I was assigned to a house with two people who frequently consumed alcohol. I was threatened by them while intoxicated, which endangered my safety. For this reason, I had to resign and leave the Netherlands.

I handed over all the goods provided by the company (bike, keys, cards), paid the rent on time and did not cause any damage to the accommodation. However, three weeks after leaving I was informed by email that I would have a debt to the agency of 1,250 euros, an unjustified amount, considering that I left during the probationary period and respected all contractual obligations.

I consider the agency's behavior abusive, lacking transparency and contrary to the rules of good practice in recruitment. I request that the situation be investigated and the necessary legal measures be taken to prevent such cases from recurring.

It’s disgusting how they treat the people. The recruiter was so rude stay away from this agency specially to mrs Vaida.
