Opie Oils Arvostelua 

No details as it would be too long winded, least to say customer service team went well above reasonable expectations and I have to say well done for surprising me in these cynical times. I have been a customer for some years now, since their product offering was much smaller than it is now and I am pleased to continue to be a customer into the future. All I can say is thank you Opie!

I'm a bit disappointed with Opie really. I've used them many times over the years for buying oils etc for my 2 old classic cars but not had anything from them for a while, until this week and they do seem to have gone "off the boil" a bit. Firstly I placed the order via e.bay and paid for 5 ltrs of oil plus a 1 ltr, the order was accepted and I got a confirmation which then stated the 1 litre would take a week to get here! Had I known this at the outset I'd have got my oil from elsewhere. Then I discovered that they now use Fedex - probably one of the worst couriers in the UK - and predictably the 5ltrs landed here a day late. It was supposed to be here on Tues so I waited in all day for it and then again today with no idea of a time slot - the Fedex online tracking is totally useless. I'm not hopeful about the 1ltr arriving as I've still no idea when to expect that. The 5ltr package did get here this afternoon but the box it was in was falling apart, God only knows where Fedex had kept it. It was absolutely soaked and disintegrating. I'm just glad it wasn't something more delicate. If this is an example of the "New" Opie then I think I'm done with them. Shame, because they used be a really good company to deal with.

I think I will steer clear of Opie oils from now on for parts. I got sent the wrong air filter after I used the parts picker using the registration number. Oil filter was correct fitment but air filter was not. They tried to claim i had taken the time to find a Bosch filter that didn't fit my car however all I did was select quickly what was shown available using my registration. Didn't even offer to send out the correct filter. Poor service.

Absolutely great shopping with Opi-Oils, 2nd time buying Petronas Syntium 7000 Hybrid 0 20w engine oil at wonderful price and first class shipping from Opi Olis, my Mazda 3 mhev runs superb on this oil which was recommended by the Petronus technical guys uk, Highly recommended Supplier .

Used those guys quite a few times, sure thing on a couple occasions had some missing or damaged items, but every time every issue got solved promptly and replacement sent out accordingly.
Also if you are not sure about something ask one of their experts or even call to your dealership to verify oil needed for the far or quantities as website can't know it all. Safe travels and may the cars last !

Placed a order for oil and a filter few days later received 5ltrs antifreeze with a checked picking list with some other person’s name and address was asked to send pictures of item and picking list as I don’t think they have a clue what they are doing …. Said they would arrange collection now a week later still haven’t received my order won’t be using them again 😡😡😡😡😡😡

The customer service from Opie Oils is superb. Great communication, errors sorted quickly (within a couple of hours) I can’t praise the service enough.
It was a pleasure to deal with Chris who understood and sorted the situation immediately.
Prices are excellent too. Save yourself the hassle of shopping around and purchase from Opie Oils you won’t be disappointed.

I have just received an appalling delivery. It was so bad the postman apologised:
Received 1 bent wiper blade and a torn packet that was half the size of the blade - from Rotherham?
I assume the other 3 blades I ordered are scattered somewhere enroute.
I cannot understand how they could even think about sending this.
I have ordered before and the seemed OK, but this is ridiculous.
I have asked for a refund - I will see if I need to fight for it.

When one of the items received was damaged and had leaked during transit, I contacted customer service at Opie oils and the issue was rectified the same day. A new product was sent by priority delivery which I received the next day. Couldn't ask for better service. Also received a complementary Opie oils car air freshener 😄👌🏻 would recommend.

The only thing this is worth doing with is throwing in the bin .

1 star... Got my parcel delivered to neighbors with the wrong address provided. The critical problem that Opie oils provide wrong oil specifications on their websites, what can cause at least dpf or catalist failure, but the worst things can happen, customers who is not checking all oil specifications properly can get their engine totally damaged. It's not acceptable to give wrong oil specs, especially for the large oil distributor.
P.S. I informed Opie oil that there is old oil tech. specifications on their website, they said they will update it when they will get oil back in stock or 5-10 days, the specs are still wrong. I can't trust this oil shop.

I have been buying from Opie Oils for a while now, they supply not just oil but ancillaries such as drain plugs and filters etc. Their items are always in stock and their prices are very competitive and despatch and delivery are very quick.

Always a great experience with Opie Oils.

Their prices are very good, and their customer service is on point. An item I ordered was out of stock, and they were quick to let me know and called me to sort out a replacement. Later, I returned part of the order and my refund was processed promptly. Email comms was responded to quickly and professionally.

All in all a good experience all around.

I’ve been a regular customer of Opie Oils, but after this recent experience, I won’t be ordering again.

I purchased a pair of Hella wiper blades that turned out to be faulty from day one, making loud squeaking noises even after following every bit of advice they gave me (cleaning, testing, refitting, etc.). I reported the issue straight away, sent photos and videos as requested, and had a long exchange of emails (26 emails) for several months.

Despite all this, they kept suggesting my car’s control arm or washer fluid was at fault — even though I’ve used other brands without any problem. In the end, they simply refused to replace or refund the product, hiding behind “the age of the order,” even though the fault was reported immediately.
They were trying to exhaust the customer with their emails. I offered everything just to get this sorted. No appreciation.

It’s extremely disappointing to see a company that prides itself on service treat customers this way. Be cautious — if your product arrives faulty, don’t expect them to take responsibility.
Very wrong approach.
