We rented a 2 bedroom unit which was presented as a luxury apartment in St. Germain des Pres. The shoddy apartment was a cluttered space filled with the owner’s contents, bric-a-brac, children’s toys and “artful displays” of junk. The kitchen counter was very old Formica with a bad chip. The kitchen window, while it let in light, the plumbing faucet prevented it from being able to open. We were unpacking groceries and placed our Bric’s carry-on on top of the stove which has many dials to turn the burners on. Lo and behold, when the suitcase made contact with the stovetop it automatically went on. Out lovely suitcase was crispy and went in the garbage. Old tablecloths covered the dining room table and large coffee table. Furniture throughout is cracked, chipped and damaged.

We were taken for an expensive ride despite the company’s claim of vetting the units on their site.

We plan on hiring legal counsel to defray the outrageous steal and breach of their contract.

We enjoyed a week's stay. The home is lovely and enjoys an excellent location on a quiet street near Notting Hill Gate. The property is fully furnished as a private home, which adds to its charm. One Fine Stay did a great job with our greeting and settling in.

The reservation process and check in were very efficient. The staff was responsive and helpful. We had housekeeping services x2 and it was excellent. The home is conveniently located - 4 minute walk to tube station and lots of grocery stores and restaurants nearby. Walk to Hyde Park and amazing museums.

They have the best customer service. Respond the same day to emails and were extremely helpful to book tours and transportation form the airport. A plus on customer service. The unit was well maintained and was very clean. The only complaint was the unit is across the street from a primary schools playground. 8am to 6pm very loud noises of screaming kids. On the weekends they have soccer camp at the school. They should add a note to the location to make you aware. The unit is Kensington Place IV.

The home was fabulous. It is near the underground and Oxford Street with restaurants, coffee shops, and retail available. The home has lovely, upscale furnishing and at the same time is a very comfortable environment. The staff at OneFineStay are exceptional in their customer service. Thanks so much. We would stay there again!

The home we stayed in was beautiful, comfortable and exactly what we were looking for. It was exceptionally clean and well provisioned for us and the team was extremely responsive in helping us get settled and working through a few minor issues. The location was also perfect for our needs and the neighborhood charming. I am going to use OneFineStay for all of my stays in London going forward and will also try to use them on other European stays.

OFS was incredible, from coordinating an airport transfer to meeting us at the flat to ensuring that everything during our stay went smoothly. The flat was gorgeous and exactly as described and OFS made everything so easy. I will never use Airbnb again. Thank you!!!

Awful experience. Animal porn "art." Completely different experience than any past experience with this company.

This apartment was a wonderful base for exploring London. The rooms were well-proportioned and comfortably furnished. The overall decor was great and gave the apartment a very lived-in feel. There was lots of closet space. Plus, the Onefinestay folks graciously sent over extra hangers to accommodate all the clothes we brought for our long stay. There are many great restaurants within three blocks. The ones we liked best were Honey & Co. Noble Rot, Faros, and La Fromagerie. It was also easy to walk to many of the theaters. The Tube stop was only about a 12-minute walk away. We would definitely stay here again. Thanks to the host for making the great apartment available.

In full disclosure, rented two apartments in Paris across back to back weeks with onefinestay. The first apartment was lovely and as advertised. Everything was as promised. Unfortunately, the second apartment was misrepresented. The team did not check if what was listed matched with what was delivered. One of the advertised rooms was locked shut with the television in it. OneFineStay apologized that they could not deliver as advertised. Also, the oven was not checked in advance so it was turned off. They did fix the oven and after requesting compensation (they did not offer) for lack of room/TV access, received 10% off a future stay. Unfortunately, our stay in this apartment makes us not trust their future offerings and, hence, the two star rating.

I'm a One Fine Stay "host" (ie. rented my house through them), and had a truly truly TERRIBLE experience with them this ummer.

We came home to thousands of dollars of damage for which One Fine Stay completely shirked responsibility.

And expensive fixes for minor issues that occurred during the rental were debited from our account.

I've had good experiences with them in the past -- they pay you less than you'd get from Air BnB / VRBO ... but you don't have to prep the house at all and you're meant to be protected from the stresses.

Ha. This summer was dramatically different AND I WRITE THIS AS A WARNING TO ANY OTHER "HOST" FAMILIES

a) If anything goes wrong, big or small, they bring out the most expensive people to fix, who then testify that the problem was pre-existing, so that the repair gets charged to the homeowner! They debit the expensive repairs from your account. It's not ideal but what can you do, it's in the small print.

b) But then bigger things went wrong :

-- guests were unable to lock a patio door, a One Fine Stay team member came out and, by their own admission, tried for 30 mins to make it work (obviously not being familiar with the mechanism, and likely broke it), an inept/dishonest locksmith came out, falsely reported that the door had an unusual lock from Europe (untrue: I am now dealing with the regional supplier of the door who laughed when I told him this), and the locksmith then disassembled the mechanism, and jammed the [now broken] door shut.

Incredibly the locksmith said the door had pre existing problems that were due to the lock facing the sun which warped the plastic inside (again the door rep laughed out loud : ITS A DOOR, ITS MEANT TO FACE THE SUN!), which allowed One Fine Stay to say Yeah so sorry Homeowner, pre-existing problem it's on you.

I'm still waiting to find out how much the repair will be, but it wont be cheap.

-- guests reversed out of the driveway and hit the gate that was in the process of closing. dented their rental car. camera footage showed what happened, and also showed the guests trying to fix the gate that had come off its rails and in the process likely broke some metalwork. they manipulated the gate for 5 mins before forcing it open.

They could have left it open like that and driven out, but instead One Fine Stay called out their (expensive) gate guy, he dismantled it, left a $900 invoice (duly debited from our account) and offered a $3,000 gate fix proposal.

And then One Fine Stay told me the impact had trapped the guests inside the driveway (either the guests lied or One Fine Stay lied) and that's why they *HAD TO call the gate guy to let them drive their car out!

The gate guy said there was a fault with the gate installation (we've lived in the house for 4 years with zero problems)

I had the footage to show everyone was lying but they didn't care : sorry Homeowner, we deducted rental car insurance deductible, and the gate guy's fees from your account, and you have to deal with the fix yourself.

To their credit, they are taking responsibility for stains on a carpet/sofa, and sharpie marks on a coffee table.

But with this other bigger stuff I was actually stunned by the way we were treated. No logic, no sense. Just doggedly protecting their margin.

I get it, they want to create the most optimal experience for their Guests, but us Homeowners got absolutely trampled.

The entire experience with onefinestay was excellent. From using their website to find a property that met our needs to working with their staff before, during, and after our stay. I can't recommend them enough

Beautiful place close to everything wonderful customer service

This location is perfectly situated. It does get loud at night. Be prepared for that. Other than that, it is an amazing location. Beautifully appointed. We absolutely loved our stay

Working with One Fine Stay was outstanding. They communicated timely, they had excellent concierge options and they were extremely responsive to any request. Everyone I dealt with was very kind and helpful. I look forward to booking another visit with One Fine Stay!

From the moment I inquired, the hands on concierge service was outstanding. The apartment was beautiful and it was made all the more special with hotel bedding, towels and toiletries. The staff was remarkably attentive and helpful. Cannot wait to book with OFS again.

Our Villa was beautifully landscaped, had breathtaking views and is very remote. We loved the layout of the house and the multiple kitchen/dining areas especially the outside dining area.
Two of the bedrooms have a "whirpool tub" with a hand held shower that cannot be used while standing.
The garden access bedroom does not have internet wifi.
We can't say enough about our private chef that cooked for us 2 nights during our stay. She was fabulous!!!
The barbecue could not be used because there was no firewood available.
"Onefinestay" did not give us the proper information concerning how to open the gate. We found out how to use it properly, the day before we left, from the gardener. They also did not label any of the keys which took some time to figure out how to access everything.
"Onefinestay" also forgot to collect our security deposit. We asked them to pick it up and they requested that we drive into town to drop it off. We did not have a car to do so.
Cleaning did not take place during the week. We had a towel change and trash collection (which they forgot to take). They were scheduled to come on Wednesday which was changed understandably to Thursday due to weather. They did not arrive on Thursday when scheduled and then showed up as we were getting dressed to go out to dinner.
Check out time was 10am. A lady entered the house around 8:30 and started rearranging, organizing and moving things. Some of the items belonged to us but she didn't speak any English to explain.

Overall the villa was fabulous if you enjoy a private, beautiful, quiet stay.
"Onefinestay" service needs to communicate better.
