My order hasn't been filled after five months even though they estimated eight to ten weeks. No one answers the phone there and phone messages don't get a response. There hasn't been a response to about half of my emails and there hasn't been any follow through on any of them. I'll try one last time to get a refund, but I'm afraid this is going to prove to be fraudulent.

If it were possible to give a negative star rating I would. I order a belt at $150. It never arrived. Contacted the website address and a guy called David replied about a month later - all apologetic and blaming an issue with their shipping partner. Promised to send a replacement the next week. Never happened. Contacted again - same false promise. I have repeatedly contacted them and they no longer respond to my emails. I would strongly suggest you go elsewhere. I want to support small, family businesses rather than the corporate ones but not these guys.

I placed an order on 4 Dec. '24 for a Clint Eastwood poncho. My credit card was billed but I never received the item. Contacted customer service to no avail. Called their number and spoke to Mike Skier. He said that he'd "check into it." He later contacted me and said that he'd send me a tracking number. He never did. In repeated calls he said that he'd had a "family medical emergency" then later his brother died and most recently he said that his wife had a stroke. He's repeatedly lied, most recently when he said that he'd said that he'd send me a refund. 10 months and I've never received an item that they continuously advertise. Based on my experience and other's, one can only conclude that Mike Skier is a Bulls-it artist and the company is a scam. BTW, I've repeatedly post on their FB page and the comments have disappeared.

Total scam, they have no products and the address seems to be an apartment.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS STORE. Mike the owner is a scam artist and simply does not care. He gives you excuse after excuse about your order status. im reporting this business to the BBB. SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADACE AND AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!!

Do not use this business, it is fraudulent! Like so many others, I wished I had seen these reviews before purchasing. I ordered four items. They sent two, and both were bait and switch. I ordered El Paso Saddlery items and received Triple K. I returned one and received a refund. I returned the other and they said they would refund, but never did. After such a bad experience on those two items and after not receiving my refund on the one as promised, I cancelled my order on the other items and asked for a refund. Then the games began. Mike promising refunds, the proverbial “check is in the mail” but never received, closed on Mondays get to you when we return…anything to string you along. After months of promises, I now have to file complaints through my credit cards. They count on that as credit card companies won’t seek return of funds after a certain point. This is a fraudulent company and Mike is not a man of his word. Buyer beware.

Ordered product and payment was made at the beginning of May 2025. Waited two weeks and saw the order was processing, called contact number and left a message. Mike Skier returned my call and claimed the order was shipped and USPS was having troubles. After a few days, followed back up and Mike claimed the items were sent, but USPS lost the package. Mike claimed they would reorder and put a rush on delivery. 2 months now and still no product delivery. Spoke with Mike today and he claims the items were reordered and lost by USPS again. Asked for a refund and Mike said he would try to get to it today or next week. This company is a complete fraud.

I placed an order on 12-08-24 and was charged right away. I still have not received my order even though after three inquiries were made. Each time I was told the order would be ready in 10 to 20 days. The website phone is automated and of poor quality and hard to navigate.

My order was placed on 12-31-24, and as others have noted, 12-16 weeks wait. Well, it is now June 2, 2025 and still waiting. As of today, I have asked for a refund so we'll see how that goes. Also, he noted that he had replied to my emails, but I have never received any from him throughout this process. Order at your own peril, but note that this is not a business that is showing any integrity with their service and follow thru.

Still waiting 3 years on. They took our money and we have seen nothing. On the few occasions when they reply it’s the same old covid excuse and it’s being done this week. Then nothing. Yet they keep advertising and saying they are producing items. I would say buyer beware but trust me you aren’t buying anything because nothing is delivered.

As many others have posted, I have been waiting for my items for months. Mike S will throw dates out there, he is lying. Get your money back.

One star is a way to high rating for this piece of crap rip off outfit. Like many others I have been waiting over 13 months for my order a holster and gun belt. Repeated inquiries online and on the phone have gotten nothing but false promises and lies. Mike keeps saying they will refund or ship but never follows thru. Seems to be a dishonest, lying, SCAMMING outfit. Plan to contact my State Attorney General to look into this deal.

This company is a total scam. Ripped me off for $190 for two holsters ordered on October 16th of 2023, never received. Mike is the ultimate scammer and always has a reason why you haven't received the product. In truth, it's just because he is a scam artist figuring ways to steal your money. This company should be shut down.

This family business ripped me off over $400. I ordered a western gun belt they stole off El Paso Saddlery website. During the wait time, they billed and collected from my Visa card, who can do nothing now.
Mike S has e mailed me several times with “ just 2 weeks” or,” guarantee you will receive at the end of next week” on 2 different times. He has no honor, and will lie through his teeth to you, without a thought.He has promised me a full refund twice.
Their business address is actually a crappy apartment.
Do not do business with these crooks.

I will NEVER do business with this company again. First I ordered a holster with a 4 month delivery date. Four months came and went. Several inquires produced promises but no holster. Finally, the holster shipped but it was not what I ordered. Fella at Old Trading Post blamed the problem on Covid-19, and his inability to hire good help. Like a fool I then ordered a leather military magazine pouch. Delivery was also promised in four months. After 4 months I made inquiry about the order and was told that "the order fell thru the cracks due to personnel issues."

Ordered a holster on May 2024. Promised three months. It’s now been 10 months. Even time they promised 2 weeks for delivery and nothing. I’ve been promised a refund three times and no refund delivered. This company promises great products but they aren’t delivering either product or refunds. Jim Wertman

I placed an order (42839) on October 17, 2023. It's now November 2024. I've never received the item. I've called Old Trading Post more than a dozen times asking for a refund. No response. No refund.

I ordered a holster on 5-29-22 and never received it. I have been promised the item or a refund for over 18 months and have received neither. Never buy from this company!

It took a while to get my holster but it was a custom order.
Absolutely beautiful and worth the wait.
