Lovely service, staff friendly & helpful. Transfer to airport easy & quick, but muddy footwell mat on return. Would ask company to think of using paper mat covers like in a repair garage. Would make me happier!

After my flight, I called the mobile number provided for a pickup. The woman who answered, referring to me as "My luv" (which felt unprofessional), told me she’d just left but would be back soon. We waited in the sheltered area, protected from the rain, only to see the van drive right past us without stopping—even though there was space to park directly in front of the shelter. When I called again, the same woman, who was also the driver, said she had already stopped, but at a location out of sight from where we were waiting.

When she eventually returned, the driver didn’t say a word. Upon arriving back at the yard, I mentioned the poor pickup to the reception staff. At that point, the driver came out and accused me of being rude, claiming it was my fault for not seeing her earlier. Her defensive reaction gave me the clear impression that she knew she hadn’t done a good job and was trying to shift the blame onto me.

This lack of professionalism and accountability made a bad situation worse. Instead of taking responsibility and resolving the issue, she chose to be dismissive and confrontational. Between the poor communication, failure to stop visibly, and the blame-shifting attitude, I’m very disappointed with Oakwood Parking Bristol’s service and will reconsider using them in the future.

Fast and friendly service as usuall off the Bristol flight last night.

Avoid. Avoid. Avoid.
The monile number given for pickup does not get answered. You will wait for ages at the airport. Pay that little bit extra and use the official airport parking. It's so worth it.

The customer service we received was truly exceptional. On our return from holiday, the car couldn't be started. Luke sent us home in a taxi, got his mechanic to solve the problem the next day, and then delivered the car back home to us, a considerable distance away. We were SO impressed with his kindness and generosity.

We got back at 0300 picked up the keys only to find our car was boxed in
Went to the office and found the attendant to be rude and unhelpful
I asked for the car to be cleared and was informed that no one on site was insured to move the cars and would need to wait for an insured driver to come onto site I expressed that this was a poor service and was told to get out the office
I asked to speak with the duty manager but was informed there wasn’t one
When I got back I email the company with my disappointment but they failed to respond.
I guess they didn’t care

We arrived back to our car in the rain left to find it while dragging suitcases across a muddy car park. When we did finally find it it was boxed in we had to go back to the office to get the cars moved this took another half an hour then to top it off I found my bumper to have been hit hard enough to break the bottom edge. Such a poor service should have read the reviews beforehand as I'm not the only one.

Used every time we fly from Bristol airport, not had a bad experience so far, little hiccups if I was being picky, but overall good, so do not let or the negative reviews put you off, yes agree with some that it’s not so good when wet as carpark has lots of pot holes filled with water and suitcases and footwear can get dirty. Also would be nice to have some kind of shelter from rain while one goes to reception. Just returned and first time our car was blocked in, but a photo of registration of car parked in front and another trip to reception and a happy person came and removed car that was blocking us in, yes it can be very frustrating when all you want to do is return home, but it was easily and quickly sorted. I recommend taking a spare key with you on your trip so if raining on your return you can at least get in out of rain why things are getting sorted. It can be a bit frustrating waiting for transport from airport when there’s a lot of people as it’s first to get to bus, whether you’ve been waiting 10/15 mins or just arrived. It’s a bit of a scramble, but the whole pick up system at Bristol is crazy, so not really Oakwood faults. It’s not long before another bus comes along. Had a very happy entertaining driver this time, can’t remember name but is in a band. I just think people just need to chill out and then your experience will not be so bad. At the end of the day, it’s cheaper and you have a choice, yes at times people have a bad experience and that’s quite often the only ones you hear about. But there’s a lot of cars parked there so think about it ? Maybe Oakwood you could look at resurfacing part of the carpark and a little shelter, so at least you could stay a little dryer and not get muddy

We have been let down twice by Oakwood Parking and despite contacting them to give them an opportunity to apologise, we have heard nothing so as promised I'll share my experiences publicly.

In 2022 we arrived back at 2am from a delayed flight and our car was boxed in, the man on duty made my partner move a strangers car to get us out!!

After this we said we would never use this service again but on our 2024 flight the airport parking was full so we reluctantly booked hoping that maybe things will have improved. Sadly not, we booked for ONE DAY on a Sunday as we flew to Belfast on the day, we did everything we had to and kept them informed of our delay also however when we got back, our car was NOT where it should have been (it was boxed in AGAIN although thankfully the car in front had left so we could scoot through), the handbrake was left off and the car in first gear. I have pictures of all of this although it's hard to tell from them the state the car was left in but I am less than impressed. We did not go to the office as it was late, we were tired and frankly too annoyed to say something on the day.

We will never be using Oakwood again, I'd rather walk to the airport from home than park here.

I have just used oakwood airport parking for the first time, I will not use again, and do not recommend. When the minibus turned up to collect returning passengers today from Bristol Airport, passengers approached from all areas, there was no queue as the driver has to park where he can. There were lots of people wanting to board. As we only had hand luggage, my teenage daughter and I went to board the bus. The driver shouted at us that we needed to go to the back of the bus. I said that we didn't have any luggage to put in the rear, he said you don't get priority, go to the back of the bus. We did as he told us, at that point he basically put us at the back of the queue, after making it sound as though we had somehow cheated in front of other customers. There was no queue to cheat. The bus was then full, so myself and my daughter were left behind. This episode was quite humiliating. It seemed as though we were arbitrarily put last for some reason, and the driver was rude at best, and came across as judgmental and humiliating. It was really unpleasant. I've not experienced this with any other parking company. I will not use oakwood again.

It is an absolute joke of a Company that should be held responsible for their actions.
Better to spend extra money and ensure the car’s safety than use them!!

After coming back from holiday at 2am we found our car scratched. I had a dash cam, which they also took out. Bearing in mind our car was moved to different compounds as they call them, no evidence of this was on the cam. I questioned them about their T&C’s on plugging out dash cams, and obviously they got defensive, without having any reasoning.
Took pictures, sent emails right then.
It took them ages to ‘look through CCTV’ and finally when they called me the woman was extremely rude, shouting on the phone to me.
I chased them numerous times and they determined they will not be responsible for any damages, and ignored me ever since.
Looking to go further to claim for damages, and looking at these reviews, I am amazed that no one else is doing this.

Good prices compared to other sites. I've used this services for years now.

However given the money they must ve making its a shame they don't invest in

a. Tarmarcing the drop off car park. Our cases were stinking after pulling them along the wet gravel

b. A shelter while wating for the buses

c. A trailer for the cases and up to date buses

d. Numbering the spaces so its easier to locate your car. It would be far more professional.

We got dropped off in pouring rain and winds. The ladysaid, yourcars up there somewhere

Truly awful, recommended to me by my local travel agent. The drop off and transfer to the airport were both great. However the issues were when I returned from my holiday. I phoned to let someone know that my plane had landed and I was waiting to be collected. Eventually after waiting 15 mins in the rain 2 minibuses arrived as there were other customers waiting to be collected. I arrived back to the site collected my keys from a very stroppy member of staff and was told that my car was someone where near to where I was dropped off. It was 11.20pm and raining, the lighting at the site was insufficient, myself and other customers couldn't locate our vehicles it was very poorly organised. Eventually a member of staff could my car, by this time I was annoyed and my poor daughter wet having had to look after our luggage in the rain while I tried to find my car.

Suffice to say that I will never use Oakwood Airport Parking Bristol ever again it was an awful experience. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!!

Absolutely wonderful experience.
Beats any other park & fly iv ever organised.
So easy. Quick & professional.
Pride within budget, easy to locate, and car waiting for me of arrival.
Buses were available and very easy to transport us.
Had to wait for. 2nd bus as 1st was full. The 2nd bus within seconds of the first leaving both on arrival & departure.
No messing about. The location is about 4 mins from
the airport , very close.
Wil definitely recommend & will definitely use again.

Do not leave any thing worth stealing, as they will take it, we left a purse in the glove box , luckily there was nothing in the purse , as we had taken anything that was of use out, unfortunately due to tiredness we forgot to check glove box, and didnt notice till we got home. Will never use these again

My parents arrived back at Bristol Airport today, to a 40 minute wait for the minibus. Due to the number of passengers waiting they were advised to either wait for the next bus (another thirty minutes) or walk..
Upon returning to reception at the car park, a very unhelpful lady denied any sort of compensation for this inconvenience. The staff accepted no responsibility for the lack of coordination on their end & we’re happy to see my parents leave unhappy.

I spoke with the manager to try to resolve the issue, who raised her voice and it was her way or no way, I find it hard to believe how someone with this sort of customer service experience can run a car park. The driver did speak politely over the phone, a lot better than the lady.

Disgusting arrived in airport for return shuttle approx 30 people trying to get on 1 bus had to walk and carry cases back to oakwood carpark 40 minute waiting for bus then 30 minute hike on dangerous roads , to get to the office and be told the shuttle is complimentary SO IT SHOULD BE CALLED PARK AND WALK !!!! DRIVER AT AIRPORT SAID HIS COLLEAGUE HAD LEFT HIM ON HIS OWN yet back at the car park hey presto 3 buses ? Absolute rubbish experience don't go there 0 stars liars

My family have used Oakwood many times over the years and I've always found them to be very helpful and accommodating (even when I have caused my own problems). The check-in is easy, the shuttle bus to the airport is always quick and easy to use and the pick-up on our return is always punctual. I won't be using any other parking service.

Shocking system , no organisation, free for all as people push past and get on bus , half our party had to wait for next bus , no one in office seemed to care so will never use again
