Good wig, terrible customer service. Would not recommend if you have medical hair loss or need one quickly.

After suddenly losing all my hair due to alopecia, I was nervous about forking out for an expensive wig. I tried to contact Nuola Wigs online wanting an in person consultation as was clueless about wigs (which they didn't offer, nor even an online consultation.) Due to my life being put on hold at age 20 and having to take leave from work I had no other option but to buy a wig blind. I was promised 10 day processing (express shipping) which I paid an additional £50.00 for. My wig was not processed within that time and in fact took over 40 days to come!! I still have not been refunded my fast processing money and have given up asking for it after being ignored email after email.

The worst experience I had was that I was told my wig HAD BEEN shipped at the start of the week by Lucy over email, reassured I would receive it in time to start work again. Again, after a week alarm bells rang as the wig was a no show, I hassled them over email to track my wig and Nuola got back to me to tell me eventually to say my wig had been "lost in the post" by the drop and go service. She didn't seem bothered by this issue and told me she'll just make a new one and ship by the end of the week. There is no evidence that they even posted the wig in the first place and I was blatantly lied to. Why were they not phased by losing an £1000+ wig in the post? why was something of that value not tracked? She obviously told me she posted it to keep me quiet but forgot to make it, so lied and said it was lost in the post. Bearing in mind at this point I had waited over a month since my promised delivery date.

Although the customer service was terrible, I can't knock the quality of the wig. It's brilliant, I just wish my experience with the company was also. If you want a wig to just change your look I'd recommend Nuola Wigs, but I definitely would not recommend if you need a wig urgently due to medical hairloss. The whole process was extremely stressful and upsetting don't make the same mistake I did, from now on will be purchasing from other wig companies. Such a shame as the wig itself is nice.

This is my second wig from nuolawigs and i’ve been both happy with the process and products. I’ve had medical hair loss for 6 years now and tried multiple human hair wig companies, from nhs wigs to online wigs to companies all around the u.k. and abroad. With other companies, i’ve found the wigs look very fake and unnatural. Unlike with nuolawigs, the realism in the nuolawigs unmatched and not once have i been questioned if i was wearing a wig, which for me was a big thing due to my lack of confidence talking about me having alopecia. The staff are friendly and helpful and have allowed me to find the perfect wigs for me to feel confident, which i am entirely grateful for. They provide in person and online consultations, which i find very helpful as you have the ability to try on multiple wigs and see what suits you.
Some of the comments on here mention shedding, and as someone who has had multiple wigs you learn the differences in the lace types, HD laces are thinner and more transparent to guarantee a undetectable hairline, if you are wanting one to last longer but look less realistic get swiss lace instead. Swiss lace is more durable, it can withstand more tension than other lace types. Therefore you have to be more careful when you handle HD lace.
The pricing is also standard, human hair wigs are an expensive investment but over the 6 years i’ve found them all from multiple companies to be in a similar price bracket, therefore for the quality and realism nuolawigs has been my favourite ;)

I have loved everything about the product that nuola wigs has to offer. The fitting is perfect and can be adjusted if need be. The color holds and looks fabulous day in and day out. I have struggle with hair loss due to alopecia since I was 14 years old and nuola wigs helped me gain my confidence back. The hair that is provided when purchased is TOP quality and looks 100% natural.

I suffer from alopecia and have tried many wigs over the years from different brands. Nuola wigs are by far the most natural wigs I have ever worn. I have never received so many compliments on the beautiful colour and natural hairline. I don't think I will ever go back to buying my wigs from anywhere else!

My only criticism is that I wish they did smaller sizes of wig caps. I have a very small head and the smallest adjustable wig cap they have bunches at the back of my head and is a little uncomfortable. But still, this is not going to stop me from purchasing another!

Ordered a wig following a consultation to match my hair as I was due to have chemotherapy and lose my own. The wig was beautiful when it arrived and being able to wear it has really helped with my confidence whilst I deal with the hair loss from treatment

I have struggled with alopecia since I was 4 years old but my hair did not fully fall out until last year. I looked all over for a wig that I would be comfortable with and came across Nuola. I can honestly say that I am so happy with my choice. I decided on the Lynn wig and was able to customize it to 130% density which I feel is just right for me. The staff was also very helpful and quick to respond which was amazing!

The only thing that I did have trouble with, is that I feel like the cap is a little big but the adjustable strap helps a lot. The hair can also tend to get a little dry so it is important to use a good conditioner when washing the hair!

I have tried many companies over the years for my hair and this has been the best by far. I wear mine almost every single day- which isn’t recommended however the hair stays in amazing condition. You are able to style it in so many different ways due to the high quality of the hair which has been so exciting for me. In addition; the customer service from the company has been 10/10.

This is my 5th Halle wig and it’s absolutely AMAZING!! Going through chemo I lost my long beautiful blonde hair and this wig helps me feel like me again. I’m so grateful for Nuola wigs.

I've ordered a LOT of wigs over the past few years. But I ordered my first one from Nuola Wigs 6 months ago. I wear my wig daily, including to exercise. This wig is the first one I have every gotten that has held up for so long - and I STILL get compliments on it when I go out!

This wig has changed my confidence is so many ways. Nuola does take a while to come but that’s literally because of the quality and the time taken to make it unique.
Can’t fault the wig at all it’s unreal, I lost 80% of my hair this year due to a stressful time and honestly this has made me feel like me as corny as it sounds!

Nuola wigs are hands down the best wigs out there! From the way they are made to the way they make you feel. Customer service response time is quick and very courteous. I had a gastric bypass a year ago that left me with hair loss. I would stand in the shower in tears with my hair in my hands.
