Absolutely awful company. I suspect they are selling seconds. I would do a long review of my personal tedious interactions with their childish online sales team but it would be a boring read. The short version is they sold me damaged goods which I returned and they refused to reimburse the absolutely ridiculous £7.50 delivery fee. This is against UK consumer rights act 2015. So I have contacted my CC provider for a chargeback. It's a point of principle especially reading other reviews and seeing they make a habit of this.

The Natterjacks Team don't care about the Natterjacks customers obviously.

Free delivery if you buy some specific items not on sale, if not get charged £9 for a 48 hour medium parcel box and if you need to return it another £5 fee on top of that.

Bought £198.75 worth of items and returned a large t-shirt that was sized like a XXL but because the other items were on "sale" they charge you the £9 delivery fee which they have pulled out of thin air ridiculously high fee.

Terrible customer service, the company is always right, owner is terrible at speaking to customers, even if they are right (fine print) do they think belittling customers is a great idea.

I have bought from natterjacks both in store (when visiting family) and online, I store guys are knowledgeable, helpful and really friendly. Online I’ve bought twice and never had a problem. Quality and service great, delivery fast and well packed. I’ve read negative comment but can honestly say I have no issues whatsoever and wouldn’t hesitate to buy from them again

On line orders, buyer's beware. I have used Natterjack a few times in the past for running kit and shoes and early in March of this year, I ordered a pair of running shoes at a cost of £68.25 and did not receive the item. After a week or so I made contact with one of the shops and spoke to a chap who stated that the chap who deals with on line orders would be in later and to phone back. Several phone calls and emails later, no trace of the item but strangely, a refund email arrived so I waited for another week or so and the money did not arrive, more calls and emails so in the end I decided to go through the small claims court. As I live in Scotland this was difficult given the shops are in England, going through a local court to the shops I was told, I can't as I live in Scotland, in the end I went to my bank, the Natwest, they raised an enquiry through the bankers of the business. I had to wait a couple of month's but today I received my refund via the Natwest. Apparently the retailer failed to respond to the bank so I won my case and got paid back, not quite sure who has paid this, perhaps the bank will take it back from the retailers bankers but, end of the day, what a nightmare and well done to the Natwest. I will obviously no longer use Natterjack, the communications was non existent, they took my money and appeared quite happy to ignore my request for a refund and quite happy to use my money, very strange behaviour given they actually sent out a refund email. I was definitely scammed so buyer beware. This retailer has seriously gone down the pan. Adrian/Fife.

They really don't like giving refunds! Also if you ring the shop the guy who answers the phone obviously thinks he works in the coolest shop in the world where good manners and service are not required

Took a chance after reading the other reviews. Items arrived in good time and were a good price but the vans t-shirt I thought would fit based on other vans t-shirts I had bought was way too small. This wouldn’t be much of a problem except for the £5 return charge for something that is basically a large letter (sell it eBay it is then). Be prepared to pay £10 to try something unless you are 100% sure it will fit. The Powell peralta t-shirt fit fine.

I was hesitant to buy as per the bad reviews but I had a flawless experience from this company. Amazing discount and speedy shipping. Would buy from this site again

Bought pair of running shoes 6 weeks ago that have fallen apart. Tried to take them back today. Very poor service. Told it was normal wear and tear. Now received a fairly unintelligible text from manager saying it looks like they have been chewed by a rat(?)

I have been a personal trainer for 25 years so I know when shoes are faulty. Will not recommend this shop to any more clients…they may as well use Sports Direct and save money on the price of shoes.

Do no I assure you Do Not order from this company. So many issues.

Received a order that was defective in measurement I sent this back after talking to them over the phone they said they wouldn’t take of the £4.99 fee for returns label I received no email for the refund I had to chase for confirmation via phone call I’ve now received my refund but it’s a partial refund they’ve done and taken £6.75 off my refund not only did they not keep to there word they also took more than there website advertises, I’ve screenshotted this on there website and will be sending all relevant information to trade and standards as clearly from the reviews this business is incapable of operating like any other merchant

Bought a pair of Vans online from Natterjacks as they were by far the cheapest I could find them in the sale. Delivery was smooth, and I was kept up to date by email from Royal Mail. Overall very happy. I read a few negative reviews on here, but they were largely people complaining that they have to pay postage for returns (which I guess is pretty standard for an indie store), not liking the owner, not liking the music they play in-store blah blah. So felt pretty confident ordering from them - plus they get much better reviews on other review sites. All-in-all - very happy with my experience and the product! Cheers Natterjacks.

There’s a lot of negative reviews on here, so was a little worried about placing an order!

However my experience was nothing but good. Delivery was on-time and as stated on the website.

The back staff replied to my email the same day.

Ordered a pair of trainers from them. Was emailed to say they couldn’t provide them as damaged in their warehouse. Cancelled the order down then refused to refund my payment source for 3 months stating that the payment source had to initiate the refund? Then tried to tell the payment provider I hadn’t collected them as agreed, bearing in mind I live 145 miles away from the store and they had already told me they were damaged

Absolute scammers steer clear

We visited Natterjacks earlier today to have a skateboard built as a Christmas present for our daughter. However, we were abruptly told that they wouldn’t build the board because we hadn’t purchased it from their shop.

This left us confused, as we had previously been informed they would provide this service. We even clarified that we intended to purchase the trucks and wheels from them.

Despite this, the curmudgeon behind the counter persisted, “I’m not going to build it for you.”

This experience was disappointing, especially as our daughter had been excited about having a board ready for the new year.

We have shopped at Natterjacks many times before and had planned to continue doing so.

Unfortunately, this staff member's unhelpful attitude has made us vigorously reconsider.

I ordered online and collected my parcel in their shop.

Definitely I will order again.
