My Green Lighting Arvostelua 

The sensor switch controlling a couple of down lighters in our fireplace stopped working recently. The fireplace manufacturer had installed the circuit components without any thought of ever having to replace anything other than bulbs, once it was solidly built into a wall.

Access was a nightmare, so I looked for an exact replacement part to avoid any risk of physical incompatibility. MGL had them in stock.

I placed an order in the late afternoon Thursday, paying an extra £1 for first class delivery. I was anticipating it could be Saturday or later before it arrived.

An email saying it had been shipped followed very quickly and the package was delivered Friday morning. Everything was back up and running less than 24 hours after placing the order. The service was definitely worth an extra £1 and five stars.

I enquired to a number of online LED lighting places about new transformers and LEDs for our kitchen downlighters. My Green Lighting quickly replied and pointed out that we could replace the transformers with GU10 fly leads to enable us to use the more popular 240 LED GU10 bulbs. Together with a recommended dimmer the leads, dimmer and bulbs cost less than it would have cost to replace the transformers that had stopped working. The system works great and uses 1/10 of the power. All other companies did not point this out to us, so thanks to My Green Lighting. Now we are going through the house to upgrade all lights to LEDs.

Spot on service, very good prices, good website and quick delivery. Used them for our new kitchen and bathroom lights, dimmers and sockets. Will use them all the time now.

This is the 1st time i have used My Green Lighting, i came across it as i was looking for a paticular size T4 Tube for my Display Cabinet, They had a huge range and my size was easily found, the payment method was quick and simple, and i got an email with my recipt promptly. If you are looking for a paticular size tube , bulb etc this is a very good site that offers items at a good price.

Excellent service and would use again without any hesitation. Needed strip lights not available locally - price inc 1st class postage very competitive - ordered online late Friday and delivered early following
Monday. Cannot fault.

After much searching online, I decided there was a specific wall lamp I wanted and found it for a good price on My Green Lighting. I’d not heard of them before and so was apprehensive but took the leap as the lamp was in stock when it was not available for a few weeks longer from other sites. I was very excited when it arrived but it was in a damaged condition, so I contacted them to arrange a return. They provided me with their freepost label and sent the return with Royal Mail but unfortunately after more than 10 days my parcel has either been lost in the post or is still on its way to them. My Green Lighting customer services have been excellent at responding to all emails, chasing up the parcel with Royal Mail and also sending me out a replacement to ensure I got it before Christmas. The lamp is great and I would order from them again.

Having an awful time trying to have a faulty light replaced. Not at all impressed.
Update….. email to say that replacement is on its way. Very pleased about that, but shouldn’t have had to jump through hoops in the first place!

If the product purchased from the company works there is no problem, but if the product is faulty or not satisfactory the company’s after sales service isn’t good.

Really appalling customer service
Brass outdoor light arrived marked and spotty all over
Customer service said it wasn't damage but "oxidization" and that it would all become like that eventually when outdoors in the weather. I was told to use brasso!
Whilst I appreciate that, natural oxidization happens more organically and not in a lot of lines and circles.
I was also told that all their stock was the same.
If this is the case it should be advertised with photos to show this and a message to say that all lights will arrive with dots, lines, marks and fingerprints.

I never expected to take a new light out of the box looking like this!

I never got an apology (other than a sorry you don't like the item - which wasn't the case).

I asked to speak to someone on the phone and three messages later was told a phone call wouldn't do anything.

I was offered a refund, but going out of my way to post back something that was sent out in a condition that wasn't advertised and being told to clean it myself really felt like pretty awful customer service.

I would not recommend this company and won't be using them again

Andrew was really helpful and efficient dealing with my 20W 12V halogen lights order over the phone as I was unable to order online due to my browser being too old.

Generally good products at reasonable prices, but their customer service and aftersales are terrible. An item was missing from my order, which they failed to replace, telling me that it was there.

Fluorescent light fitting arrived with a smashed bulb. Was offered a replacement bulb to reinstall myself. I asked for a replacement of full product and was answered with a refund. No attempt to resend the product I had originally ordered. Will not use again.

Ordered some linear halogen tubes, impossible to get locally, placed the order Monday noon, arrived 9am Tuesday. How can you better that and keen prices too.yes 6 stars from me. And they answer the telephone

Have used My Green Lighting several times in the last few years, mainly for strip lighting tubes of different lengths.
This occasion was no different to that on previous occasions where the items that I needed were in stock and were immediately confirmed as being obtained from storage ready for despatch.
The cost of my order plus postage was less than what I would have paid in store for half the quantity!
I will order from the company again when the need arises.

I bought 12 solar cap lights and 5 of them stopped working 3 after 1 month and 2 that I replaced them with stopped after3 weeks.i highly recommend that you do not buy green lighting products. I've been trying to reach out to resolve this...but I can't reach anyone .

Excellent customer service, my query wasn't going to make the company very rich but nevertheless I was given correct information and steered towards the correct spare part, cannot fault and many thanks.

Ordered gu10 bulbs one day delivered next day impeccable service and great value.

Purchased some replacement 1w bulbs for outdoor festoon lighting, they were the best price I could find on the internet and they arrived the next day. The only down side was the cost of delivery, had I known it was next day service I may have expected that cost but overall I was very happy with the communication, product and service they provided.
