VERY helpful lady by the name of Nic helped me today and took all the stress out of the process

Was very surprised to hear and read the experiences of others because I could not fault this company.

1) They answer the phone straight away.
2) You speak to human - Hannah was absolutely faultless and really knew her stuff. Fantastic service from her.
3) They had a resolution on the phone which is exactly what you want.

Could not recommend any more. 10/10.

Terrible experience.

They have had a glitch in their system for weeks, and every time we need to release a deposit, a long phone call with them is required.

If this issue is not fixed shortly, we will have no choice but to move to a different deposit protection scheme, as this is simply not manageable on an ongoing basis.

My call was answered very quickly. Nic understood my enquiry, went through it point by point and was pleasant and helpful

I quite often speak to Ross at My Deposits, he is always extremely helpful, very efficient and always gets everything done very promptly. A**** Service!!

i had a lovely experience twice today with two lovely ladies who helped my enquiry quickly and resolved everything that i needed help with. The two lovely ladies that i spoke with today where Hannah and Nic, both were very friendly and professional and gave excellent service.

Clare-Louise was excellent in helping me resolve my issue. The answer I had been trying to get from my agency for weeks, she managed to sort out in one phone call.

She was extremely helpful and clear, guided me through each step, and stayed on the call until everything that needed to be done was completed.

This review would honestly be 1 star if it was not for the efficient and amicable resolution by a lady called Nic. Despite many emails and many previous phone calls I was under the impression that this company did not want to help. However Nic quicky assessed the problem and rather than firing off requests for more information, took me through a clear process to release the deposit. Well done !

Wow what fantastic help i recieved from Nic. I am a landlord wanting to claim against a deposit. I'd tried and failed online. To be honest at the time I phoned I was at boiling point. I was given simple easy to understand help. Nic stayed with me guiding me through the process. Having completed the required form. Explanation given of the procedure dependent upon the tenant’s response or not. I was gifted a complete help package and Im truly grateful.

This is our first time using a deposit scheme and battling an unfair deduction claim from a landlord.

Avoid at all costs. Completely incompetent company. Supposed to offer impartial adjudication for deposit disputes. The evidence was not reviewed at all. Totally biased and as their decision is final, they feel that they can just do what they want. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

A recent experience from someone close to me has made me feel that 'mydeposits' do not protect the tenants deposits in any meaningful way, they are there to serve unscrupulous Landlords who make false claims and use the deposit as another way to profiteer. Of course not all Landlords are the same but in then case of my friend, the Landlord put several unjustified claims forward to withhold 2/3rds of the deposit. Things such as a ceiling which had a small mark touched up with the matching paint but a claim was made for complete repainting, a completely unnecessary claim, a kitchen lino with a small stain left by a doormat, a claim was made for a complete replacement!
Such claims are fraudulent and should be plain to see by a neutral organisation. my deposits are no such thing sadly.
