I had never used any site before and was very guarded, Roger had contacted me after my initial subscription had run out. I had the option of a free message to reply which I did he then replied and after a couple of messages I was subscribed and enjoying safe messaging.

Muddy Matches took an unauthorized renewal payment from my card for a 3-month plan that I explicitly bought as a single, one-off payment. When I checked my account settings, my profile still shows as unextended with a prompt asking me to subscribe again—meaning they took my money and provided absolutely nothing for it. When I contacted customer support, they lied and claimed I agreed to be billed, completely ignoring that my account dashboard proves the subscription was never even extended on their own platform. Absolute theft. Disputing this directly with my bank. I don't recommend neither for meeting neither for subscription‼️

We met on Muddy Matches in 2017. We dated, we bought a house together in 2018, got engaged in 2022 and got married in May 2026. This doesn't work for everyone, but we were a perfect match and fell deeply in love. We both preferred the subscription-based, proper profile model over the left/right swiping model. The right people are out there, although it takes commitment and patience.

I was sexually assaulted by someone I met on muddy matches and the person in question arrested and then released on bail. I contacted them to let them know as I was concerned the same thing may happen to another woman. The replies were matter of fact and shocking really given the nature of the assault. They showed no concern or regard for my wellbeing at all. I’m staggered

As with all dating sites you have dickheads but I met my soulmate on there, so I will be forever grateful! I found the site much better to navigate then other dating sites, I don't need all the bells and whistles. When I reported a scammer they were on it straightaway and banned him from the site. The biggest problem with this website is that it is not possible to identify subscribed members from un subscribed members. I sent dozens of emails and got no replies. As a paid subscriber it is vital to know whether the recipient is just not interested and too lazy to acknowledge your contact OR unable to respond as they are not a subscriber. Other websites specify whether members are active or inactive.

Ghastly app, I subscribed, left within a month but they stole money from my bank account for a further 5 months! When I contacted them, naturally they did not reply 🙄 also, no one decent to meet on the app at all.

Limited subscribers and £10 per week to send or even read messages - no thanks.
Clunky site and way behind the competition both in terms of app functionality and pricing unfortunately.
It’s a big thumbs down from me which is a shame as I love the concept.

The concept is good but the execution poor. The functionality is poor and navigation a nightmare.
It’s a high price for a limited amount of subscribers.

recently joined had a few people look at my profile and started to match with a few, then the messages started I replied to the first message and started to read other messages as I hadn't been on for nearly a week

OMG it's so poor, where do I start. My profile was vetted, which I had no issue with but when I questioned why some members didn't display the mandatory facial photo, was told they were before the rule.
Reported someone for their message and was told I can just block them.
In my personal view just taking money with no real attempt to match you with an appropriate person.

Be careful of fake profiles! I chatted with "Jack" who told me he was in the British military. In the end I realised his English was so bad that he could only have been foreign. Clearly a scammer!

I was hoping there would be more men in my area of Oxfordshire but there are not. I looked at one profile and it had awful photos of a man holding up a dead fox. I complained and they said, 'It's a countryside app'. I live in the countryside and was disappointed in their harsh response. My expectations of this site were too high and I've wasted my money. Very disappointed.

After a week I decided this site is not for me. I was sent a message in the app asking about my experience. I stated unsatisfactory and was given an customer care email. I’ve messaged the customer care email asking for a refund and that my profile is deleted. They do not reply. I’ve sent 3 emails now.
The app and the website pages function differently as well- the app has less functionality so you have to open the web page to access the info you want.

I was recommended to this site by a friend who has met a really nice guy. So I signed up and even paid £47 subscription only to then find I could look but that was all. No winks or message available until my profile has been approved which needs to be done by a human and can take up to 72hours !!! So I sent a message to customer services to ask why it takes so long and why this is not made more clear . I decided to also seek a refund since I could not get the service that I had subscribed to. I got a reply very quickly telling me I would get my refund within 14 days. Fine I thought and told them that maybe they should up their game re assessing profiles . I thought I’d check to see if I could access the site in the meantime but no they have deleted my account! They did not tell me this either . So I can’t even now get the free access . So please be aware and don’t waste your money . Nobody expects to pay for a service and be unable to use it for up to 72 hours !! Big con I think

Total crap no one is on this site just old profiles reintroduced by owner

If you are in Scotland don't bother. As a guy looking for a girl you have the choice of around 40 women. Most of them haven't been online in weeks. The 3 or 4 remaining are entitled, one message a day types. Probably bots.
You'll end up chatting to women in England. Total waste of time and effort.

Most ladies on this site are horse owners with no time. I wonder why they are single??? Not a good dating site in my opinion, waste of time if you actually want to date in person.
