Terrible. Ordered A part. Took the money, I reported wrong part and I cannot get hold of them now. Tried loads of times. No part and no refund.
Please do not use this company.

Quality of their drive cables purchased was rubbish, I bought two and each time they fell apart, then trying to claim a warranty replacement was a nightmare, they just ignore you, so you never get anywhere, AVOID this company

Paid for a lawnmower on their website but didn't get conformation. The money went from my account but when I rang them after the weekend they had no knowledge of my order and wouldn't look into refunding me

Ordered a mower. “3-5 day delivery time.” Mower delivered in less than 36 hours. Good price, no problems.

Terrible company -APPAULING customer service - non existant. Received no confirmation of order. tried to contact them by phone waited over 30 mnutes for them to answer and gave up. They replied to my email telling me to ask for a refund form my bank but would not confirm if item had been despatched or even if it would be. Asked for a refund from themselves but no reply.

Awful company. Faulty lawnmower battery. Within warranty. Requested battery return to their depot which we did. Then never replied to another email or call to organise a replacement for the faulty item. The warranty seems to be completely useless. I would not use this company for buying expensive garden equipment. Order 131835.

DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPLANY- THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS SHAMBOLIC! I am still waiting for my refund. The lawnmower is still sitting with the depot couriers because the company did not provide the correct apperwork to send it back and I vcannot get through on their customer service line. There are no responses by email. I am left with no choice but to drive from London to Cheltenham to do the return by person- once i have to ask the couriers to bring the mower back to me! this has been the worst service I ahve ever experienced!! I ahve also sent them a letter by recorded delivery in the hope that someone might respond. I am not ahving any luck!!

Website rubbish, repeatedly changed my delivery address,until I got fed up and tried to ring the company. First time I got to number 3 in the queue, after about 30 minutes! Next time never got higher than4 then got cut off after25 minutes. How is this outfit still going?

I am currently on hold with them ..54 minute so far...and am now 4th in the queue, down from 8th.

I am chasing an order my father made well over a week ago, with absolutely zero communication since he ordered it. It's only a hedge trimmer so would have expected it to have been despatched by now, not that their delivery guidance on the order confirmation email was particularly clear (Lawnmowers 3/5 working days, Ride on mower/Tractor 7/10 working days, Parts & Accessories 1/3 working days......would assume a hedge trimmer falls under parts & accessories?).

With my Dad having dementia I usually deal with online ordering but on one of his good days he found and used this website to order. Now at almost an hour on hold (still 4th in queue, although apparently my call is very important to them....you'd think they'd invest in more staff to answer calls if they truly were seen as that important), and having read the reviews here I fear this is going to turn into a nightmare to deal with. I will update when I deal with this. 1 hour, 1 minute and now 3rd in queue.....

Update Edit.....So after 2 hours, 6 minutes and 10 seconds and still only 2nd in the queue I had to take a call from my Dad's GP so had to hang up. All that time and still not sorted. I don't think I have the energy to go through that again...that is literally the longest I have ever been on hold and still not spoken to someone.

My advice is not to ring this company unless you have the day off and 100% battery on your phone. I much prefer to deal with these things over the phone but I am going to email them and see if I can get a response that way as I have just wasted a huge chunk of my day waiting to speak with them.

And as I can see they like to respond to negative reviews by saying "we don't have an order from you", the order number is #183379. Or chose to respond "This isn't the platform we like to get reviews from"...please send me a link to your preferred platform and I will happily put the same review on that one too.

Over 2 hours to answer 6 calls you had in the queue? Unacceptable by anyone's standards on any rating platform you may choose to use. I even screenshot my call log because surely no-one would believe me otherwise.

08/05/2026 Update: After sending an email yesterday I had a one line response this morning saying Cheltenham Mowers Ltd has gone into administration and I will need to request a refund......have to say, least surprising news I have ever had.

Do not read the reviews and think you will get a good service you won't, been waiting 2 weeks for an item that said 3-5 working days,try and talk to someone to get an update,no chance,trying to cancel order but carnt due to over 2hrs on phone then get cut off 4 times

Bought a new mower, several days later told it was " no longer available" and now they wont return my money absolute filthy immoral company, how can you hold someones money without supply of goods they are not responding to my voicemail or emails.

Emailed inquiry about a part for a webb mower. Got an email back asking for serial number, sent, 8 days later, still waiting for a reply. Not great online service. Ordered and received from another company.

Ordered parts, 1-3 day delivery, 10 days later and no sign. Called and got a call centre in the Philippines. They have nothing more than check-sheet answers! Luckily bought through PayPal and got a refund. Horrendous service, communication and generally smoke and mirrors company!

Ordered a mower, asked for delivery date no reply, asked for refund no reply, luckily paid by PayPal who refunded my payment.
Would not recommend this company

I ordered a lawn mower on the 23rd March and the website said delivery would be 3-5 working days. I checked my order on their website after 5 days and it showed order processing. I called them to enquire about when I could expect to receive the mower but got no real response. Called again two days later to be told they were chasing the order through the warehouse. Over the next week and more phone calls I was no wiser to when I would get the mower but was promised an email the same day with an update on my order which was still showing being processed. The email never came so I contacted PayPal for a refund. The next day an email came to say the mower was being delivered the following day. The mower did arrive and I’m happy with it but the customer service from this company is shocking. Wish I’d checked Trust Pilot before ordering - lesson learned.

Took over a week to dispatch with Royal Mail 48 hours.
A week later and still no delivery.
The tracking number provided by them isn't recognaised by Royal Mail.

Dispite an email informing me it's been dispatched, I simply don't believe them.

I wish I'd read the reviews on this site before ordering from this company. Their website stated 5 in stock, with a dispatch time of between 3 & 5 working days. Within that period, I emailed asking for a rough time of delivery as I needed the machine quickly. I got no response.
Over the course of the following 3 days I telephoned 4 times. On each occasion I spoke to the same person. Friendly enough, but not able to provide any useful information. On every occasion I called the people who were 'dealing with it' were on the phone. On every occasion no-one returned my call. I emailed again expressing my frustration and this too was ignored.
Problems with suppliers was mentioned and when I pointed out there were 5 machines in stock on the website I was informed there were 'technical issues' on the website. Clearly they have no stock and only order it elsewhere when you order it from them.
Fully 2 weeks after ordering, delivery was arranged. On the day, the courier could not get their only delivery van (without a trolley) into my street. A solution offered was for me to travel 35 miles to the courier's depot to collect. In the end, during the only call I received from the company, the solution offered by them was to cancel the order altogether. This was something I had wanted to do a full week beforehand, however nobody was ever available to speak to.
Take your business elsewhere, it's just not worth the hassle.

Out of stock and having to chase a refund seven days after the email confirmed the order was cancelled

Ordered an item on Monday 23/2/26 website said in stock and dispatched in 1-3 days and will be updated with a tracking number. By Friday 27th had not heard anything so emailed them and got an acknowledgement. It is now 9th March and I still haven't had a reply to that email, or got a tracking number let alone the part! In the meantime I have phone them 14 times and been told twice that it had been dispatched. Phoned today and they said it hasn't been dispatched. Have tried 3 times to get a Manager on the phone who every time in a meeting. Was promised a call back from the Manager which hasn't happened. The worst online experience I have ever had and I order online several times a week. Then luckily today I realised I paid on Paypal went onto Paypal and got an instant refund and ordered elsewhere.

Never use this company again.ordered a mower online which was stated as in stock.got an email the next day saying there were none in stock so they will refund my money.a week went past and i heard nothing.so i rang to ask were my refund was.i was told they would ask the finance team and let me know.another week went past so i rang again asking were my refund was.i was then told it takes up to 14 working days.so i let that time pass and still no refund.i rang back again and asked to speak to a manager.i was told he was busy but would ring me back.so i waited till just before they closed and nobody had rung me back.so i rang back yet again.still no joy.finally after countless phone calls and weeks of waiting i received the refund.i wish i had looked at there reviews first before i placed my order.never again.
