SOLD A FAULTY VEHICLE
SOLD A FAULTY VEHICLE — REGISTRATION AX66 NVC — ABSOLUTELY APPALLING EXPERIENCE. AVOID.
Absolutely disgraceful service. I strongly advise anyone considering buying a vehicle from Motor Legal to stay well away. I also strongly advise potential buyers to stay away from vehicle AX66 NVC.
I bought vehicle AX66 NVC from this dealership and, within just 8 days, discovered a catalogue of faults. In my opinion, the condition of the vehicle was completely unacceptable.
The vehicle came with both keys falling apart, and I was told that I would have to replace them myself. The front bumper grilles were also falling out. Serious noise then developed from the gearbox, differential and/or propshaft.
Despite having the vehicle for only 8 days, I was told to claim through the warranty. I was not satisfied with this response, so I contacted the finance company, who arranged an independent inspection of the vehicle.
The dealer was apparently unhappy with the independent report and arranged for another inspection. That inspection identified even more faults with the vehicle.
After all of this, the dealer eventually had to agree to take the vehicle back. Even then, it took over a month to collect it. Communication was appalling, and at one point they simply stopped answering my calls.
What I find particularly concerning is that, after finally collecting the vehicle, it was put straight back up for sale on their website.
After everything I experienced, I would not trust this dealership with another purchase. The entire process was stressful, frustrating and completely unacceptable.
My advice is simple: stay well away from Motor Legal and stay well away from vehicle AX66 NVC. Do your research, read the reviews carefully, get any vehicle independently inspected and know your consumer rights before handing over your money. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this dealership to anyone.
BUYER BEWARE — I certainly wish I had known what I was getting into before purchasing AX66 NVC from Motor Legal
