I wish I could give it zero stars
I wish I could give it zero stars. I have to use it to pay an reinstatement fee in another state to get my license, but even on chrome in windows and talking to their support people, you just cannot get a payment t go through. And then they have no solutions. I am not some old person who does not know how to use a computer. I am a certified computer forensics expert. Why do they want you to not be able to use their product, and only when time is of the essence and you have no other option? Terrible.

my recipient can’t pick up the money and it shows on the app somebody I’ve already picked it up and they told me I had to wait 21 days to figure it out. What was going on

I’m extremely frustrated with my…
I’m extremely frustrated with my experience with MoneyGram. My profile was blocked within 10 minutes of creating the account. When I attempted to send money, I received a message stating that “your profile is closed”.
I contacted customer service couple of times through the website, but the only response I received was:
“Following a thorough review of your profile and associated activity, we have made the decision to close your MoneyGram online account. This decision was made in accordance with our compliance policies and after careful consideration of all relevant details.”
Today, I also called the customer service team, but unfortunately, they were unable to provide any clear explanation as to why my account was closed or whether it could be enable it and kept telling me, I can go to the nearest kiosk to send or receive money.
If there were insufficient details in my profile, a verification issue, or a duplicate account, MoneyGram should have clearly notified me and given me an opportunity to correct the issue before closing my profile.
The lack of transparency and the inability of customer service to provide a meaningful explanation have been extremely disappointing. This is one of the worst experiences I have encountered in Australia.
I expected a much more professional and customer focused approach from a company like MoneyGram.
