So far, I am enjoying the overall experience. It is cater to my wellness growth and educational growth. It has enriched my life tremendously.

Studying at MIU has been one of the most meaningful experiences of my life. For the first time, I feel like I’m in a place that truly aligns with who I am at my core. I’ve always known I was a colorful, outside-the-box person, and traditional college environments never quite fit. But MIU feels different. It feels like it was made for people like me. People who want depth, purpose, and a full-spectrum education that honors the mind, body, and spirit.

Learning here has ignited something in me. The way MIU blends spirituality with science has opened up a whole new world of understanding and sparked a passion I didn’t even know I was searching for. I finally feel like I’ve found my purpose, and I’m genuinely excited to see where this path takes me.

The teachers here are extraordinary. They are supportive, encouraging, and deeply invested in your growth. It never feels like the goal is to test you to the point of breaking. Instead, everything is designed to help you rise, to improve, to expand, and to become the best version of yourself. That kind of environment changes you in the most beautiful ways.

I’m truly grateful to be here. MIU isn’t just a university to me; it’s a place where I’m rebuilding my life, discovering my potential, and finally feeling fully supported in every dimension of who I am. A 36 year old single mom of 5, non traditional student who is finally finding her purpose!

My initial ten weeks at Maharishi International University have been a unique experience, affirming my perception of MIU as an exceptional educational institution dedicated to holistic knowledge and inner growth. As a full-time working single mother of five, balancing academic rigor with life's daily demands is a constant challenge. This often means I yearn for more time to deeply absorb each lesson, allowing the profound information to settle without haste. Yet, the accessibility of the modules offers a comforting flexibility, ensuring I can revisit and truly integrate the material at my own pace a huge practical benefit for my lifestyle.

Despite the ongoing "inner battle" to maintain perfect consistency with practices like meditation and healthy eating, I've already recognized significant shifts in my consciousness. I find myself experiencing heightened creativity, especially when I manage to disconnect from the overwhelming "programming" of social media. This new awareness allows me to consciously pull myself away, protecting my mental space and fostering a more authentic inner dialogue. Moreover, the course has inspired practical changes: the daily practice of Abhyanga (sesame oil massage) has become a cherished, stress-relieving ritual for my family and me, and I've made conscious dietary shifts towards more legumes and grains, significantly reducing meat consumption. These adjustments, directly inspired by the STC course, are already positively impacting my physical well-being and bringing a much-needed sense of calm. MIU truly offers a pathway to transformative learning, even when navigated at the speed of a busy life.

This course has been a great balance of experiential discovery and education for me. Though I have years of background in these topics, I have really enjoyed this course and am very pleased with what I have learned and the transformations I've begun to see during this time. I have gained new, and much deeper scientific awareness and understanding of some of the foundational pieces that I hadn't considered before. 

I have noticed feeling way more settled, confident and content at a core physical level. I am naturally adjusting my diet, exercise and meditation practice to continue to contribute to deeper rest, which was never as much of a focus as I'd like it to be, now, especially having chronic health conditions that could use that restful energy at a deeper cellular level to repair. I am becoming more self-aware and learning how to pick up on important subtleties by slowing down to be more open, clear and receptive. 

Due to their (apparently) strict no-tolerance DEI/Wokism standards, procedures, and protocols, I feel I was treated with unfair prejudice. My "admissions counselor" very much operated with this DEI/woke prejudice, and as such, I as a straight Caucasian male was treated as sub-human and not worth timely communications or reasonable consideration. Case in point: about two weeks before the July 23 deadline to get all transcripts and other requirements in, I let my counselor know i actually could not afford the final transcript mail-in cost, and could you evaluate me so far, or take me as so, with about 5 of 6 of the clerical requirements? Nope, sorry, we can't help you, etc. was the answer from my "she/they" counselor, and when I appealed to a higher office at MIU to complain about this counselor, I was immediately ghosted, my application rejected, no explanation given. This is preposterous, and the only reason I can find for this treatment is that I am not a trans/woke/"person of color", etc.
So, I fully intend to continue as if my course load was met and classes are in session. I have already posted a graduate-level art therapy (my degree program) essay on Substack, and I am moving forward vigorously to fulfill my plans to become an art therapist -- but, I will add to that my harsh yet fair criticism of this learning institution that promotes unfair racist and sexist practices, and besides that, employs unprofessional faculty and staff who very definitely have an agenda -- to keep non-woke, non-trans, straight, reasonable and natural persons non-matriculated. But, only once they get all your transcripts in first. What a racket!

I can honestly say that joining MIU was a turning point in my life. I am 62 years old and had studied in another country many years ago, but I had not continued my education for a long time. Due to serious physical issues, I was under treatment through yoga, meditation, and Ayurveda.

When I came to MIU, the teachings of Maharishi and the TM technique helped me deeply. The staff are truly living the knowledge – you can feel it in their behavior, their presence, and their kindness. I am very happy and grateful that I found this university.

Their customer service is horrible! No one answers the phone or their emails. I've been trying to reach financial aid for over 2 months, so unprofessional! It's like with that the counselors as well...and I'm a actually student

I thought the course was great. The subject was complex but the way that it was structured, it made the information easy to learn and understand. It was high level enough but there was still depth to it. The only suggestion I have is to incorporate the use of Lucidchart earlier on, as I struggled with the final project as I had never put together a concept list together except the one assignment, and it made the work lengthy. I like the idea of it, I just think I would be more successful with more practice of concept maps throughout the course.
I really enjoyed the subject and it was a wonderful start to my career at MIU.

My experience here at MIU has been lifechanging and I feel like I am being guided on a narrow path to success. I look forward to the new courses ahead.

they charge international students a staggering amount of over 50k sadly for education way below the international standard

Excellent staff and teachers. I feel very welcome at MIU.

The experience was great because Simone C. the TA for this course was supportive and understanding. She took time to meet with me one on one when I was struggling personally and academically. The course content was amazing, I only wish this course was longer.

Great content and timing and versatile delivery through videos, webinars, written reading and forums.

My whole education team has made this class the best class and the most successful learning period I have ever experienced. I mean...everyone is simply phenomenal and I wish the course did not have to end. I hope future students soak up these moments as well, it's the first time in my whole educational career (which is quite extensive) that I have felt seen, accepted, and appreciated as student to this level.

Can I just say this is a really special group of people that have set very high expectation for what's to come at MIU.

Professors are excellent. I would highly recommend a degree from MIU! Truly a wonderful experience.
