Family Fleece purchase
Family Fleece purchase. We went into Millets Beverley, on Sunday afternoon. We needed two adult fleeces and one kiddies fleece. The staff explained where all the fleeces were, including size preferences. All 3 fleeces were purchased within 5 minutes, excellent service, thanks, Tony.

I came in Last Sunday looking for some trekking poles and was greeted by a young man called Freddie, he gave me an overview of the range of trekking poles. I didn’t end up buying anything however his product knowledge was impeccable and his service was friendly and I look forward to my next visit. The other gentleman on the till also kind.

Great store and really helpful staff
I rarely write reviews about shops but I had such great service from the Beverley store I felt I should. Steve who served me was really helpful in making sure I got the correct size in the jacket I bought. I would definitely buy from Millets in Beverley again.

Pricing issues
Nice item and good quality but was on a sale rack with a lot of same colour, near identical items and no individual price tag. When we got to the till the £32 jumper was charged at £57. After seeing the receipt and queried with the sales assistant basically shrugged and said a customer must have put it back wrong. It was more than I wanted to pay but as a birthday present for the person I was with, it was difficult at that point to return it. Much clearer pricing needed.

Unacceptable incorrect advertising
Unacceptable incorrect advertising. Goods advertised at original price of £50 then £14.00 off in sale making £36. Original price was not £50. It was £30 as was mistakenly left on the article which means the £30 is lower than the sale price!!! In my opinion I received an unacceptable outcome from the Store. Customer Services offered a GOODWILL gesture of £10.00 which means they do not accept they are wrong when clearly they are! I have used Millets many times in the past but sadly will not be using them again as I feel this is morally unfair and wrong.

Received excellent follow- up service at Beverley Millets. Took in a pair of Berghaus boots where uppers had broken up after 9 months. Received immediate offer of a refund or replacement. Handled courteously and efficiently, and means I will always have confidence buying here.
