Way over priced.
First, the price given by the front desk when I called didn't include resort fee, parking fee, or any of the other incidental fees. There is even a fee to use the refrigerator in the room. I'm surprised they don't have a fee for the toilet paper. I remember the days when parking was free and you could actually use the refrigerator.

After spending $400 for an event and $70 for valet it took almost 2 hours to get my car from valet. Valet attendants were rude and dismissive and in no way tried to ratify the situation. My friend paid for regular parking and was hone in 30 mins. So really what did u pay for?

Stayed here and it was average. Hotel has alot to do, and the clubs and lounges are fun, but it feels a little dated. I still had a great time and enjoyed the service.
MGM is ok throwing a family out at midnight
Called the hotel to make a reservation and they told us they had no rooms next to each other to accommodate my family of 5. I asked if they had any two bed rooms suites which the did and she promised us a roll away for our 5th family member. We checked in around 2:30 for our $1800 room and they said they will send up our roll away right away. We then left the hotel to go to visit our family. When we came back at 8:30 we still had no roll a way. I waited on hold for housekeeping for 45 mins before calling the front desk. The front desk said they would send a bed up right away. Mind you I have twin 3 years that’s need a bed. After two more hours and no bed, I got a hold of a pit boss that confirmed they were out of beds and we would not be getting the bed we needed to accommodate our family. So I went to the manager to complain and see what they could do. I told them I wouldn’t have paid $1800 for a room that couldn’t sleep my family and the manager just argued with me that they don’t guarantee beds. I said if we couldn’t have gotten a bed we could have went to another hotel. I said please listen to the booking because we were told five different times that we would have a bed. The first manager Sophia was so rude to us that we waited for another manager. He continued to be rude and actually called security on me and my family. They were unwilling to adjust the rate because it’s Friday night for a room they sold me without a bed for my family. So it is midnight now and they want to give me 10% not to have a bed and to have to sleep on the floor. I was not ok with this. They refused to move us to two other room or take care of the customer. Mind you I had already been gambling too. So while waiting for security I told them I want all my money back and we will leave the hotel. He refused while we continued to wait for security. I reminded him that the other manager said we could leave for a full refund. Finally, Art was so frustrated that he agreed and I went to wake of my 3 year old twins and 13 year old daughter and pack up to move hotels. What kind of business does this to a family. It’s midnight and the rooms dirty…who else are they going to rent it to. So instead of keeping a customer for life, they lost one life. We will never stay at an MGM property again or attend and concert at a MGM property. You threw out a family at midnight because you couldn’t honor what you promised. I will make sure that everyone knows this story of MGM treating a family this way. Both Sophia and Arthur need to go back to management training. When you can’t deliver what your team promised, you need to make it right. Instead you kicked a family to the curb. You both lost MGM $1000’s of dollars that night and going forward. We weren’t even finished gambling that night. I guess instead of helping a family on their room that you couldn’t deliver on you thought it better to kick them out and make sure you’d make no money off of us.
The bed was very uncomfortable
The bed was very uncomfortable, only adjust air 2 degrees, no coffee pot and just to put something in the fridge was $50, water didn't drain well at all, very expensive food even in the food court.

I stay in Tower one bedroom suite on my birthday July 10 2023 I spoke to a guy in the phone I ask if I can have a late check out up to 12.00pm he said it’s okay .But when I call back around 11.00am for checking out at 12.00pm the lady in customer service said no Sir only 11.00am not 12.00pm you need to leave right now. Only one hour they cannot give it to you ..I pay what ever they want in the Suite Room for only one hour late check out they cannot give it to you
It’s my first time to stay on this hotel to celebrate my birthday and I’m not gonna come back in this hotel..The lady customer is so rude .Poor customer service ..
Humiliation is my "Guest Experience"
I just completed my 4 nights stay at MGM Grand Las Vegas and I should say I have bitter experiences than pleasurable ones because of the following incidents that have really affected me in a negative way. I am not sure how you deal with feedback and correct them (I do not see a feedback section on your website, nor an email to seek feedback which shows your commitment to improve!).
Humiliation #1: The guy at the front desk during checkout was rude and condescending. He refused to listen, show respect, instead openly showed his disgust when we requested him to clarify on things. It looked like all he wanted was money and wanted to do away with us. It all started when we wanted to change our credit card for the final billing. While checking in we were clearly told that not a cent would be charged until we check out. Trusting that, we used our personal credit card to check in. During check out we had brought our corporate credit card and was surprised to find that my personal credit card was already charged. All we wanted was clarification on why it was charged. We were respectful and anxious while your staff took offensive and reacted very unfriendly. I am still not clear why my personal credit card was charged! Well, he agreed to refund and the way he dealt was very condescending. At one point we were scared to ask more questions seeing his behaviour. If you have security cam recordings, you could witness how he threw the receipts at us after everything was done as though we were at his mercy - that too in front of my two children. I wanted to react but didn't want to create a scene. I wanted to be respectful, courteous, and humane, unlike your staff.
Humiliation #2: On Monday (6-June) our family decided to go for a swim. My husband and two children were going to swim while I decided just to be around. When we entered the pool area, we were welcomed by your staff, but no one explained the terms and conditions about sitting in the pool area. We all entered the pool area and my family jumped in, while I sat on a stool under an umbrella taking care of our belongings. A little while later I stepped out to purchase floats and when I returned to give the floats to my family, suddenly there was a person at the gate who refused to let me in. She told me that I do not have swim wear or a "band" for entry. No one told me about a band or swim wear requirements. I tried explaining her that I was in and stepped out to purchase the floats. I wanted to hand them over to my family who are waiting for it. She wouldn't budge and forced me to purchase a band if I must enter without a swim wear. I wasn't ready for that, and it was hot as hell. I cannot carry 2 inflated floats, walk to the counter and purchase a band and then walk in again. She wouldn't consider my plea to let me enter and instead asked me to walk through another entrance on the other side. I walked all the way around in the hot sun, carrying the floats and couldn't find another way in. After almost half hour of roaming around in the sun, I came back to the original gate and this time there was somebody else who didn't even care asking for a band and let me inside. Why was I subjected to such immense pain and humiliation? I could not understand why I was targeted. My husband and I talked to the other staff about her behaviour, and they were surprised and said she should not have behaved like that. They apologized but that did not compensate for the humiliation I went through for no obvious reason.
Humiliation #3: I just looked at the receipt and am shocked to find that I was charged a late fee + tax, TWICE! One on 7-June (God knows why!) and one on 9-June. I would like to contest both of them. On 9th, it was not that we checkout late, but we were waiting in line to clarify on the credit card debacle. It took us a while to clear the line and reach the front desk and now, I have to pay extra for waiting and seeking clarification. I don't know why you are so obsessed with money over customer experience. If money is all you need, you should plainly convey that first, so we are prepared, instead of finding weird reasons to charge us.
All in all, I can say that "HUMILIATION" was my guest experience at MGM Grand. Again, there not a single place on your website to add feedback or contact you for that. That talks volumes of how much you value customer satisfaction and your commitment to improve on your quality. I will wait to see your earnestness to resolve my complaints and then decide my next steps to make sure that my humiliations are acknowledged and resolved.
Room Flooded With Sewer Water
My friend and I stayed at the MGM grand from May 21-25 2022 and had a terrible experience. On the second night our room flooded with sewer water. It filled the entire bathroom and bedroom soaking our suitcases. The smell was horrible and we had to fish our personal items out of the nasty water. We also had cuts and blisters on our feet from our heels and spent 15 minutes in our new room scrubbing our feet terrified we were going to get some nasty infection from the sewer water. We also had to clean our clothes in the bathtub of our new room, terrible experience. We complained and the manager didn’t care at all and acted like we were a nuisance for being upset. I’ve never had a more disgusting experience with a hotel and would not recommend them to anyone.

I had bites all over my back i believe the hotel had bed bugs! also they had no FRIDGE or microwave in the room!!! how were we supposed to eat and drink? also, the ice machine and vending machine were BOTH BROKEN on my floor each night i woke up dehydrated!!! I paid 1000 dollars for an outdated hotel! also the bathtub and shower was so tiny it was hard to wash comfortably. the keys did not work for the room so we had to walk miles back and forth from registration to the room! and the lines in registration were so long and we had to wait even after already registering and checking in. the thermostat in my room had to be broken because we would put the temperature on low and i would still wake up in sweats. this hotel is definitely not worth the stay. I demand a refund i had a horrible experience!!!!!!!!!

MGM worked out fine for this trip
MGM worked out fine for this trip. Both of our rooms were in the west tower. I am not sure if all rooms in MGM are like this but it was by far the smallest room I have ever seen in Vegas. Since I was staying by myself, it was fine but with two people in that room, it would have been cramped. The bathroom was an open concept immediately when you walk in the room. This was quite weird to me. The other problem is that if you need to use the washroom at night and need to turn the light on, there is no way to do this only in the bathroom area so you would definitely wake someone else up. But since I paid so little for a busy few days in Vegas, I would do it again if I found myself there on my own again.

This resort has drastically gone downhill. Very outdated and worn. The clientele matches the $35/night special rates. Parties in next rooms kept us up all night. Walls are paper thin. Fights in the lobby bar, rap music blasting nonstop throughout the resort..shame on MGM. This was the filthiest hotel we have stayed in. Pay a few more dollars and go to Bellagio!!!

It was.... alright ... the room rates were great due to the whole pandemic situation lol , the room we got was a king it was slightly outdated... also not sure if there were bed bugs because I woke up with a few bites here and there which was not fun... also our mini bar didn’t work we had to call down stairs to come fix it twice.

I am giving MGM one star because I am unable to give a score of zero. Unfortunately I was obliged to cancel a stay at the Las Vegas Luxor Hotel after hearing that members of their staff had contracted Covid-19, furthermore the buffet at the Luxor and many other MGM Hotels had been closed.
We had booked the Hotel through a third party company - Agoda, who to their credit refunded our money. However MGM Luxor
retained a charge of £36.00 GBP. We were due to arrive on 15th March for a four night stay, MGM subsequently closed all casinos on the 16th, hotel closures followed on the 17th.
Why will they not give a full refund?

Stayed here last year in September. Lovely staff, service was good and had a great time at the MGM. I would recommend to anyone wanting a good experience of Las Vegas MGM is at the start of the strip opposite New York New York Hotel, so ideal place to start and stay.
