Mercedes-Benz South West - Exeter Arvostelua 

Having previously purchased an E-Class from Mercedes City West Exeter and had an excellent experience, I had no hesitation in buying a new E-Class 450D Premium Plus Executive Edition, despite the 1,000-mile, 14-hour round trip to Glasgow.
A special mention to Matt Rickard, the deal-maker extraordinaire, and Jess Footitt, who patiently handled my many questions and soul-searching throughout the process. The handover was as seamless and professional as my previous experience, with George Hood providing excellent assistance with the very technical setup.
However, there are a few areas of concern. I’ve encountered several issues, such as the rear wiper washer not functioning, adaptive cruise control not performing as expected, a missing tyre fit pump, and multiple warnings about “hands off steering wheel.” These small but significant snagging issues have been frustrating.
One of my biggest concerns is that, had I bought the car from a more local dealership, I could have easily consulted with a product expert about these problems. Right now, I feel hesitant to approach a local garage, as I didn’t purchase the vehicle from them, and I’m not sure where to turn for support.
To make matters worse, despite receiving an email from Mercedes asking if I’m satisfied with my new car, I’ve responded at least twice in the negative, yet no one has reached out to resolve the issues.
If I could’ve bought my old car back, I would have—this certainly doesn’t feel like the experience I’d expect when spending £92k on a vehicle.

Having received a letter from MB head office to advise of an outstanding recall on CP10WAY my company pool car, I called service reception and booked the car in. The letter advised that the software update would only take an hour and this was confirmed by reception. I booked an 0830 slot on this basis that i would wait on site. Having driven some 40 miles to your premises i was greeted by reception and shown to a waiting area. When a chap from service came to collect keys he then advised me that this procedure could take up to 4 hours and that 1 hour was not correct and so i left having wasted my time and not had a software update. He did not seem to be to worried ,probably as given my firms pool car was 15 years old there were more lucrative jobs to be undertaken in the workshop. Dreadful service and has put me off considering buying a MB completely.

Booked a waiting app for MOT, told an hour max on booking. Took over 2hrs. MOT failed on a windshield wiper, so not sure what took so long! Replaced wiper but it cost over £50!!! Will go local next time, dealerships just arnt worth the money

Excellent customer service. Jo and Luke were really helpful and knowledgeable in helping me decide on my purchase. Good communication throughout my purchase and seamless transaction from start to finish. All the staff were pleasant and friendly. Definitely recommend.

My 15 year old E class cabriolet was in for a MOT which sadly it failed (corroded rear sub frame)
Much to my surprise replacement at no cost to me was covered under an extended warranty and loan car provided!!

Excellent customer service from the outset. Was enabled to work from the dealership whilst the service was carried out. Professional standards you would expect from Mercedes (Exeter), the dealership and showroom are a high end operation.

Great service from Mercedes Benz Exeter. Friendly staff and a very comfortable waiting area with complimentary refreshments. Service was on time and I was kept informed of progress. My car is always returned to me washed and hoovered. Overall a very pleasant experience and great service.

Good personal attendance from Mike throughout the service day. Good courtesy car provide and my car left clean and tidy at the end of the service. Nice service video with explanations. A litle late starting in the morning due to poor communication from the receptionists who were otherwise occupied eating snacks at the front desk. Generally a good experience and well executed.

Shakira Hunt looked after me with my new car purchase. She was very efficient in communicating through emails and it was a very smooth transition from my old car to new. She was very informative on the new car technology when I went to collect my new AMG. I can honestly say she was an angel.

So impressed! ….the experience of buying a premium product was made even better by the service I received from both Mo and Stephen at Mercedes in Exeter. Nothing was too much trouble and their attention to detail was second to none. I had a Mercedes from another seller and am so glad to be under the care of a main dealership going forward. Ellie was excellent, the service from start to finish was effortless. We organised our purchase of a AMG GLC remotely and collected in store later that month. Would definitely be returning to mercedes for our 2nd car renewal.

Always leave the dealership feeling our Mercedes has been given expert care . The dealership experience at Marsh Barton is good . The drop your key system is potentially a time saver but there always seems to be a fair time waiting for keys to be handed over . Free coffee helps but prefer if the keys were there if the car is finished with and you could just drive away ( having paid of course ! )

Excellent service, communication great. Went to great lengths to identify the problem with the car and provided various options to remedy. Mike in particular was extremely helpful, very impressed. Will use again and would recommend.
