Always a reliable service, and the bus driver today went above and beyond to help someone recover their lost phone. McGills are truly a 5 star company.

What a suprise, another bus didn't show up, hope on everything that you're company goes bust

Another day another raft of delays and no show of the 26 service. Not the first time I have experienced this problem with them.

X36 Stirling/Glasgow and Glasgow to to Stirling route bus constantly not turning up especially on a Saturday .
Happens at least once a month.
The 9.30 am Stirling to Glasgow and the 18.30pm Glasgow to Stirling

Worst public transport in the industry, scheduling is horrendous, customer service is even worse not to mention The Bus drivers have the worst attitude out there.

Our area gets one bus an hour and they constantly don’t show up. Today 12 people including 2 disabled people were left waiting at the bus Station for another hour because of the 13.35pm bus not turning up. Disgraceful service. (If you can call it a service) They are USELESS. People are late for work or appointments because of them and they couldn’t care less.

I use the bus services most days as it is the only one in my area and I don’t have a choice. The prices have gone up and the services have got worse. Buses meant to arrive and don’t show up, especially in the evening. Buses are always mobbed as they are so few and far between. Cannot rely on them at all. Do better.

Boarded bus to go and meet a vulnerable parent who relied on me being there and the card machine wasn't working in bus. Driver told me and my son to pay cash we didn't have any I was expecting to pay with a card we were told to get off and get next bus which wasn't for 2 hours which I pointed out and she thought it was funny saying I know it's me. The card machine not working is nobody's fault but the bus company and a little compassion could be shown. Any time I have used First bus they let you on no problem as it's their fault not yours.

First bus I went to catch didn’t show, second one did but was completely packed due to the non existent first bus that the app said was coming but did not.

Overall terrible reliability, happened multiple times recently around me and I can’t trust the bus to get me somewhere I need to be on time.

Fix your utterly s**t service.

Very bad service buses always late don’t spend your money on this buses. Need to wait more than 1 hour very worst worst worst worst service.

Just used the clyde flyer service to and from largs. Buses ran on time and both drivers were friendly but one hour and 40 minutes each way on rock hard seats brought a tear to my eye and worse to my bottom......

Always late and sometimes they don't even show up even after the app says it'll be there in 1 minute. Worst service ever. The only reason people still use this bus service is because there is no alternative option.

Travelling home on the last bus from largs to paisley didn't know the bus wasn't going any further than johnstone depot but the amazing driver who went above and beyond all work duties took care of us and got us home safely this gentleman is a credit to the company, we were overwhelmed with his kindness especially my husband who is recovering from spinal surgery..big thanks.

Don't promise what you have no intention of delivering.
The rear end of the 38 service through Paisley proudly boasts.... Up to every 7 minutes or better.
That claim is a blatant lie.

I frequently use the McGills M7 bus that services the Maidenhill area of Newton Mearns. I am on this bus at least once per week.

It is usually Dan or Aidan that are the drivers on this route at the time of day that I use it.

Both drivers are exceptional at their job. Everytime I get on, they are extremely pleasant and polite and always take the time to ask how I'm doing. I have steel plates and pins in my leg and some days mobility is a real challenge for me.



Dan and Aidan are very supportive of this, even when it takes me a bit longer than other passengers to get seated. I have never felt rushed whilst on the bus, and it's always a pleasure seeing the two of them.

They are both a credit to McGills and should be highly commended.

Shocking company ran by drug dealers buses always late or just don’t come some of the drivers r unbelievablely rude list goes on we need a proper bus service in paisley cause these people are scum

Some good feedback for a driver I was on the x36 leaving Stirling at 13:55 Monday 26th August and the driver was brilliant. I had a very impatient 2 year old wanting me to get her on the bus and the driver managed to have a carry on with her before he got on. He was laughing saying he wasn’t letting her on the bus but then said to her that if he got a high 5 she could get on. She gladly did this then spent the next 5/10 minutes giggling away to herself. Then as we were getting on the bus he happily said hi to her when she said hello and waved to him and continued the joke of her not getting on the bus by saying he was going to leave mummy behind which caused her to giggle more. More drivers like this one needed and a bonus of some sort needed for this one. If all of your bus drivers were like him then there would most definitely be less complaints. Many thanks to this driver for making my journey home less stressful.

Below is a copy of an email I sent to McGill’s Bus customer services.

To whom it may concern,

I accidentally got on the no X36 at Cumbernauld Shopping Centre at approx 19.45 on Monday 26th Aug. I didn’t realise the bus was out of service, I scanned my ticket without the driver realising. In hindsight he must have been changing the sign.

It wasn’t until I seen the motorway directions for Stirling that I realised I was going in the wrong direction back to Glasgow.

The bus driver stated that he was in fact off duty. He drove me to the nearest bus stop for Glasgow, waited with me and explained to the driver what had happened.

I am forever grateful to him, he went beyond the call of duty, I believe my personal safety wasn’t compromised due to his kind and caring actions.
I hope I didn’t take up too much of his down time. (I never got his name)

Amazing service 👌 they have a monopoly on public travel, realistically there is no alternative.

I don't get it, your awarded a contract to provide a service (at cost), you get paid so provide the service.

The amount of buses that just don't turn up, appear on the app near your location then disappearing.

Like I said great service boss, how's your salary doing?

Service on the greenock hospital 545 bus is getting ridiculous the past cpuple of weeks .always missing buses out on this run . Already complained about this in an emial to the company last week . And nothings changed .
Shocking service Its as though this company does not care about their customers because they know they are only bus company in inverclyde.
