I've been using Maybank for a few years now, and I've had a generally positive experience. The mobile banking app is easy to use and has a wide range of features, including the ability to transfer money internationally, pay bills, and invest. The bank also has a good network of ATMs and branches across Indonesia.

However, there are a few things that could be improved. First, Maybank doesn't support Apple Pay or Google Pay, which is a bit disappointing. Second, the customer service can be slow and unresponsive at times.

Went to Maybank Jinjang Branch for replacement of my Debit Card.Please SMILE...SMILE & SMILE ya Maybank Staff esp at the Operation side ( Counter inside ).Waiting a bit long for link to my MAE acc after activated it...will hope for any staff to call me for enquiries even there are 2@3 counters with no cust.Many thanx to the lady of Counter 5 for approaching me & helping me.U did a great job!!!!

Poor customer service of Maybank.
My dad can’t understand the system , my dad ask for son’s help talk about deduction money at petrol pump . Still ask for dad a details that my dad also can’t understand and need my help for fill the details . Stupid ever customer service.

Rubbish app. Always need me to reset password for the online banking since I seldom use it for online transferring money and buy thing outside...

My Dad got Credit Card scam from scammer SMS. He immediately called Maybank to report the scam case on the same day, and the customer service ask him don't worry and don't have to pay for the credit card money, but this investigate process will takes up 65 days. After 2 months received report mention that was my dad fault and he must pay the full amount with interest, CS said no need to pay but now charge with interest and tell us that the interest cannot be wave, so ridiculous! This was happen to UOB bank credit card as well but UOB deducted the scam amount 7 days. DON'T recommend to take Maybank card. Daylight robbery!

I am legal international student, the Perak branch didn't accept to open banking account for me although I reside in perak state and ask me go to KL, there are many restrictions on foreigners in this country. The xenophobia spread over there.
Thay have MAE product, and accept from few certain countries only ... concern to attract elite like daughters of diplomatics only! Shame on them.

Maybank2u has the worst customer support service ever! The hotline is 24 hours, however, they never pick up any call. I have tried to on hold for almost 40 mins, nobody pick up the call. If you want to offer customer support service that ghosted your clients, why offer it at the first place? Such a waste of time and effort from clients who are looking for solutions/help from your end!!!

Like a 3rd world bank, very slow and inefficient. Maybank app also buggy and design very stupid, not reliable.

I was in Auckland when I got my Maybank infinite Visa card cancelled to avoid unauthorised transaction. Maybank credit card customer service officer called me. A replacement card was quickly done and couriered to me at Auckland. As my Handphone had no global roaming facility, its staff had to call me many times until I could use the replacement card with a temporary PIN. Luckily Maybank credit card works on Apple Pay. So I can still freely use my Maybank card in Auckland. I was so impressed with Maybank credit card customer service staff. They were so efficient, extraordinary, friendly and helpful. Only Maybank credit card customer service will give this special service of calling its customers in overseas. They called Auckland and chatted with me at least six times until the replacement card was issued and activated.

The new maybank app MAE is always down. It says connection error even though i can easily use my CIMB app. Such a disappointment

Every time my credit card is up for renewal, they send it to an address I haven't lived at for years. Every time, I ask them to change it, but with no success. Last year, they outdid themselves. Again, they tried to deliver it to an address I don't live at anymore. Usually, after the delivery to the wrong address fails, I can request to pick up the card at my local branch, but even this was too much for them to handle. It took 16 calls to customer service and sending numerous documents via email just to receive a response asking me to zip the documents. After a long six months of back and forth, I still don't have the card. Bravo!

Slow and like shi how the hell the system still slow? Its 2023, when it comes to take our money, you can do as fast as flash. You should throw away your website and your business go down straight to hell fcker

Very very bad. 9 out of 10 times the website service is not available and have to try another time. This is very bad for a financial service provider. Can definitely do much much better as a local bank leader. The MAE app is also not user friendly and need way more improvement to be in par with international standard. Consider to change bank even just use for 2 months.
