2nd Mainland Order
Ive ordered from Mainland before and the order process, payment and delivery process is fuss free. The product is as described. Delivery was on the day however you just need to be aware that smaller deliverys are palletised so your drive needs to be flat to receive otherwise it will be left on the path.

Don’t buy self binding gravel!
The self binding gravel we purchased was delivered on time but the gravel was a big disappointment. We wanted it for our garden paths that the landscape gardeners had made. They followed the instructions given online but it just looks like children’s play sand and is not what we thought we would get. We paid £1,100 for it and we have thrown it over our fence and buried the rest in our developing garden. We have now bought stepping stone slabs and pebbles for our path.
This self binding gravel is definitely not what you think you will be getting

Thank you for taking the time to leave your review. We are sorry to hear that you were disappointed with the finished result.
Our Self Binding Gravel is an extremely popular and highly sought-after product with an excellent reputation when installed correctly. It is specifically designed to create a firm, compacted surface for pathways and other landscaping applications.
However, correct installation is absolutely essential to achieving the intended finish. If the laying instructions are not followed precisely, particularly regarding preparation, moisture content and compaction, the material may not bind correctly and the finished surface can be unsatisfactory.
5 lorry loads of Pond Clay
We ordered 5 lorry loads of blue clay to line two farm ponds we are restoring.
Scott was very helpful regarding the phasing of the delivery, we didn’t want it turning up all at once.
The quality of the the clay was very good, the loads turned up on time, 3 on the first day, 2 on the second as we’d asked for, helpful drivers that phoned us ahead with an ETA.
I would thoroughly recommend Mainland Aggregates

Thank you for taking the time to leave your review. We’re pleased to hear that you were happy with the driver and that your pallets were placed where you wanted them.
With regard to the dust and smaller chippings, the product is clearly advertised as containing up to 10% fine material. This is a normal characteristic of the product and is detailed within the product description so that customers are aware of this before purchasing.
We do appreciate your feedback and thank you again for your order.
Great service

Scott was very helpful
Scott was very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. I ordered eight granite boulders 250-300kg. They were handpicked by Scott and are just perfect size. Paul the driver was also very helpful and helped me place the very heavy boulders when they were delivered. Great team work. Would definitely recommend and use again.

TOTAL RUBISH EXCUSE. HAVE A LOOK AT TUE MAP, REAR OF OUR PROPERTY IS THE SAME ROAD GOES AROUND IN A LOOP. OWN UP AND APOLOGISE.
Delivered a day late and the load was left in the front of the house
Clear instructions were stated to be delivered at the rear of the property
A bulk bag had to be transported from the front to the rear, 150 m distance
Cost us more in labour than the load
Very unhappy

Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to hear that you were disappointed with the delivery.
Unfortunately, delivery to the rear of the property was not possible due to access restrictions for our delivery vehicle. As explained prior to delivery, the order would need to be delivered kerbside, and the driver placed the bulk bag in the safest and most accessible location available.
We understand that moving the material to the rear of the property required additional effort, and we appreciate that this was frustrating. However, given the site access limitations, we were unable to position the load any closer to the requested location.
We value your custom and are sorry that the delivery did not meet your expectations.
