I don’t like writing a reviews about…
I don’t like writing a reviews about any company as everyone has their own experience not necessarily true reflection on the company.
I purchased 4 trees from MOT and they were all delivered, however the one meant to be half standard ended up with full standard tree and the ones which meant to be full standard tree ended up with half standard. There is clear evidence from the pictures that they made the mistake.
The company refuses to honour the order which I placed and replaced them with correct order. Instead of replacing them they threatened me to send the driver and collect them but not to replace them.
I can only wish that companies do the honourable thing and put their hands up and say we made an error and what can we do to resolve the matter. Instead prefer to collect the items and not replaced them.
I personally will not be using this company in future.

As stated in our many emails we supplied the exact trees that you ordered, when you requested replacements we advised you that we could not send replacements. We did however offer to collect the trees from you and do a full refund this turned out to be impossible as you informed us we were not allowed to access your property and that you would call the authorities!!
We did everything we could to resolve this issue

No reply from company re my e-mail response to their Trustpilot reply
On May 4th 2026 I wrote a review re my Ceanothus Tree, titled: "No reply from company regarding two telephone voice messages left with company as required." I gave the review 3***
On May 19th 2026 I received a reply asking me to forward my order number to resolve my issue with Mail Order Trees, along with photographs. I made my reply to Mail Order Trees, via their e-mail address, on 26th May 2026.
Unfortunately I could not send the Order Number as I purchased the tree a year earlier in 2025. I did however send 4 photographs as required.
To this day 20/08/2026, very much like my previous review, I have not had any response from Mail Order Trees. Again, very disappointed with the company's non response! Hence 1* only.

Successful delivery
Trees were delivered this afternoon by Chris. They are in good condition and he put them against a north facing wall till I'm ready to plant them as it has been exceptionally hot and dry for the last 2 months and the ground needs a serious amount of water and work done before I can plant them. Chris is very knowledgeable about the trees and gave me good advice. He was friendly and interesting to chat to.

Excellent…
The tree arrived and my first thought on opening it was WOW. The sweet chestnut tree arrived very carefully wrapped and in excellent condition. The tree itself is very healthy and looks lovely, it even has chestnuts already growing on it. I highly recommend and would definitely use again.
