False Advertising, Rude Staff, and Shocking Customer Service – Avoid at All Costs!
I created an account with Lowcostletterbox today and selected their Free Company Formation with Annual Plan, which boldly claims:
“Save £79! From £68.00/month + VAT.”
However, after signing up, I was asked to pay £150 upfront, only to then be told the £68/month rate only applies to the annual subscription. Instead, they demanded £85/month + VAT for monthly billing – which was not clearly disclosed in their advertising.
I would have accepted the clarification had it been handled professionally. Unfortunately, the team I dealt with was incredibly rude, dismissive, and outright impudent. Their so-called “manager” could barely speak English clearly and was brazen and condescending when I raised my concerns about misleading advertising.
This is NOT how you treat customers—especially those trusting you with company formation and sensitive business communication.
False advertising, zero professionalism, and terrible customer service.
Stay away from this company – I genuinely regret wasting my time and money.

We are sorry if this distinction was misunderstood.
We take customer service seriously and have reviewed the interaction you described. Our team maintains high standards of professionalism, and we regret that you perceived the conversation as rude. However, your communication with our staff was combative from the outset when we requested standard identity verification documentation – a legal requirement under UK anti-money laundering regulations for all company formation services.
Upon further review, we noted that you are listed as the sole director of Heyelsa Accountancy Limited, a firm that claims to provide full accountancy services to UK businesses. As a professional in the field, we would expect full awareness of basic compliance requirements, including the need for ID verification during company registration. This raises legitimate questions about the intent behind your application and review.
While every customer is entitled to their opinion, we believe this review does not reflect a genuine customer experience but rather appears designed to unfairly damage our reputation. We welcome constructive feedback, but we also stand by our team, our services, and our legal obligations.

I asked them for help via Whatsapp, only to be constantly ignored.
I called them, and they knowledge my constant messages via Whatsapp by some Indian woman shouting through the phone, but refused to help over the phone. They said they would reply, but no response.
Then moments later, they call my phone 2984589 times, ignore my messages and refuse to leave a voicemail.
Pricing isnt clear. There are service fees, deposits, unclear instructions. It seems nobody is able to assist with real answers. It's like the owner left his wife in charge and she has no idea what she is doing. THAT is what dealing with this business feels like.
I just wanted information on their services as I have seen reports that HMRC dont allow these addresses from lowcostletterbox. It was a VERY SIMPLE request and it turned into a disaster.

2. According to our WhatsApp records, we responded to your initial inquiry within 11 minutes with a call. However, we received a message stating "stop calling me", which we respected immediately.
3. We assure you that we did not make repeated calls as described — certainly not 2,984,589 times — and no further contact was made in respect of your request.
We are genuinely sorry if our efforts to help caused any frustration. Our aim is always to support prospective clients clearly and professionally. If you’re open to it, we’d be happy to assist you further and clarify anything you found unclear.
