Went to the event in Edinburgh at Brewhemia. Around 15 women and 3 men. Told there were 10 on the list - which I can see from the reviews someone else at a different event was told. Basically people were paying £22.50 to sit and drink in a bar.....I asked if we would get a refund given it was such as washout and was told yes and that someone would be in touch the next day. They weren't, so I emailed them and received a reply to say their hosts don't offer refunds but that we could come to another event for free. I really wouldn't waste your time and energy. As for the 'ice breaker' of the cosmic fusion app to see how much of a match you are astrologically, don't bother!!

Cancelled the day before , I had pre booked an hotel as dont live too close to the event so lost money on that , then ignored emails for a refund of ticket , as new event is 2 months away and I will be on holiday, an immediate refund should be offered when event cancelled,absolute amateurs zero customer service..AVOID AVOID AVOID .wish I checked trust pilot before booking

Cancelled the event the day before and refusing to give a refund. Dont bother booking these events. Just taking money from people with no regard for consumer rights. Scam.

Event has been cancelled and no refund can be processed. They proposed only a new date in 2 months, which is not acceptable.

Upon arrival at Slug & Lettuce, we asked several members of staff where the event was taking place, but nobody seemed to know anything about it. After eventually speaking with management, we were directed upstairs. However, the upstairs bar was closed, meaning we had to repeatedly walk up and down two flights of stairs whenever we wanted to order drinks.
After giving our names, we were provided with a code for the app and then left waiting for the event to begin. There was no introduction, no explanation of how the evening would run, and none of the advertised elements took place — including speed dating, organised interaction, games, or prizes.
When we approached the staff member who had checked us in, she appeared inexperienced and unsure of what was meant to be happening. Overall, the event felt completely unorganised from start to finish.
There were five ladies and three men present, all clearly expecting an organised singles event as advertised. We expressed our disappointment on the evening and decided to leave at 8:30pm.

It is such a shame, as there is real interest in singles events in Cardiff. Several of my friends were considering attending the next event but this experience has understandably made us hesitant.

After reading the reviews on here, it's clear that our experience is standard across the board.

It was rubbish!

Only 4 men were present for 14 women: numbers should be even.

Location of the event/venue, changed and was not of the same standard as the venue we had booked tickets for.

My friend and I stayed for one drink, waiting to see if other men would turn up but this didn't happen. We were told 10 men had booked tickets but didn't turn up - not very likely!

No icebreaker games or anything. Just put in a little upstairs room. It all felt really awkward.

Not worth the money. They refused to give us a refund, only a free ticket for a future event. There is no way I am going to another of their events!

I booked on for a dating experience with cosmic fusion love at first sign.
It’s a SCAM to get you to sign up to their app “cosmic fusion” and pay monthly subscriptions they don’t actually care about the dating experience and when you explain about it they brush everything off and don’t offer a refund.
Me and my 3 friends went to the what we thought, was a dating experience in Cardiff. There were only us four girls there and two men.
The girl didn’t even know how to use the match for dates I had to show her how to use the scanner. Everyone just sat there awkwardly there was no control or instructions that were invitations to create an atmosphere in fact I was actually put really on the spot at one point and in front of all 5 people that were at the event, why am I single and was forced to answer it it was so uncomfortable.
They do not offer refunds. All their events aparently have loads of no shows as they explain but I think they actually just take the money for events they don’t care how many people are signed up. The are money hungry and they DONOT care about your experience.
Also when you write your opinion of how you’ve been treated on their INSTA they block you and delete the comment something really suspect about this company. Please be careful and DONOT USE.
Little tip for the next people likely looking to write a bad review but can’t, they’ve been very clever and called their events “love at first sign” but the company is actually called cosmic fusion and is available to review on Trustpilot so I would suggest to find the cosmic fusion page as that’s the one they link to themselves. Typical scam having two names so people can’t review properly and it makes it look legit and reviewed well as people reviewing the app vote high but the people who want to review the dating have the confusion of different names love at first sign and cosmic universe or cosmic fusion

Completely unprofessional. They have cancelled the event twice and postponed it. “Due There are no “refunds” according to their terms and conditions. They’ll continue to postpone events indefinitely until you give up and basically steal your money. Who’s going to recuperate the travel costs I invested which I’ve lost twice. Absolutely disgusted!

Gave one star as it is the lowest. It is a rip off, you pay to sit in a corner of a pub with a few seats, 12 when we went and there wete 3 of us. 3 men 5 women. No interactive games, ypu just see host, log into app and sit playimg on your phone bored. No.speed dating and no refunds AVOID

If you review on facebook or comment on their posts they block you they do not want people knowing the truth

Bought a ticket, secured childcare close to event but they moved it day before, cant make that date and refused refund. Just kept mailing "well its in terms and conditions"
Think this is overall poor effort
