Consistently inaccurate and not safe to rely on
I’ve used CGM‘s for a long time in this product has been consistently inaccurate. I placed it on myself today for the first time. It regularly reads significantly lower than my actual blood glucose.
For example, my FBS was 117, while the CGM showed the values as low as 54, 65 and 80. This is not a small difference. It’s a clinically significant gap.
This isn’t a one time issue. This has been happening all day, since I placed it on the back of my arm. On the other arm, I do have a Dexcom Stelo for comparison, and man-o-man; what a significant difference between the two. The level of an accuracy for the Lingo goes beyond normal variation.
Because of this, I’ve had to rely on my Dexcom and fingersticks instead. I wanted to switch to Lingo because the price. But, like they say, you get what you pay for!!!!
I CANNOT recommend this product based on my experience today, especially for anyone who needs dependable glucose readings.
More like a fruit machine than lingo
Irritating music and too many silly fruit machine like interruptions. Probably ideal for a 10 year old kid
Customer service is nonexistent
I bought a month's worth of Lingo CGM. The sensor would lose signal CONSTANTLY.
Brand new sensor applied; STILL LOSING CONNECTION CONSTANTLY.
Email customer service at least a half dozen times-- have gotten ZERO responses.
I will not buy this product again. Total waste of money, and risk to my health.
I have had nothing but problems
I have had nothing but problems. UPS lost my order so after a while, Lingo was to send me 2 replacement sensors, they sent one instead of 2. The one I received worked for less than 3 hours. I contacted them to send out a replacement for the one that doesn’t work as well as the one, I didn’t receive. I got my box today with only 1 sensor in it. I give up! I am requesting a refund and will try another company. My neighbor got her sensor the same day as I got mine. Hers worked for half a day so she is now dealing with trying to get a replacement or refund as well.
Useful to see how your food affects your blood sugar

Really easy to use and useful to see what specific foods and cortisol levels (stress and when you wake up) affect your blood sugars
The only thing I do not understand as is not explained well if the Longo count . You seem to get count added for no reason so it is so easy to go over target even whilst eating healthily . A small treat of 3 squares of chocolate resulted in me having 32 points added to count !! ( target for day is 60 !!! ) . Rest of day was very healthy food , low to zero carb yet I go massively over my count . So do not understand this at all .
Overall useful just as a bit of a test but wouldn’t use all the time, firstly because it could lead you to be comes little to focused on zero carbs and secondly because it is very expensive working out at £90-100 per month .

Previously I was using another manufacturer Sensor without any issues. Lingo was a bit cheaper but it is waste of money.
Faulty sensors, appalling customer service
I have used Lingo GCMs for about four months. During that time, 3 of the 8 sensors failed within a day or two of application. And the company will not refund or work with me to get refunded. They know their products are faulty and have tried to make me provide a ridiculous amount of information just yo replace products that are already not working. The software is great, but if the sensors don’t work, it’s a no go. I’ve used Nutrisense and Freestle Libre as well. Both are far superior to Lingo. Customer service is appalling—it takes them 3 weeks to reply to a help
Message, and then, the “help” is performative with all issues going unresolved. Try a different product. This one is awful.

I ordered one month subscription for…
I ordered one month subscription for lingo twice. Each time one of the sensor turned out to be finicky. On my last order the sensor stopped working in less than 24hrs and it said to contact customer service.
The customer service is even worst. I sent them an email and after 48 hrs got a response saying apologizes for delay hope and we have addressed your concern. Which didn't make sense since they didn't even read the concern. I don't think I will order anymore product from them and I hope this feedback helps other folks to stop ordering from Lingo.
Android App. (interface) Sucks
Getting access to data is utterly painful. Export produces several hundred 5-minute raw readings. Lots to excel work to produce barely useful data. No graphs to export. Customer Support staff barely trained.
No reading at all when running (not fast)
I found it was not taking any readings during exercise. I used the Lingo CGM a s I was interested in my glucose levels especially on longer training runs. I’m a mature plodder, not an athlete. The sensor and my phone were within 20-30cm. I had no readings at all during these runs. The first and last readings showing were well within normal range, I didn’t feel depleted and I ate at intervals. I cannot believe I was so out of the normal range all the time not to provide a reading. I won’t buy another Lingo CGM again. Waste of money. I wish I had read the reviews beforehand.
A Waste of Time
The first one I purchased malfunctioned. I requested a replacement. After over a month of back and forth with customer service, I finally received the replacement. The application directions were ok, but I ended up using an online video for instructions. The warm up time was 24 hours. During this time, the device lost connectivity many times and required turn on & off my Bluetooth then restarting the phone. My readings have range 30 to 40 units below what my regular glucose monitor states.

Tried Lingo glucose monitor. Like it wanted to reorder. Order is repeatedly cancelled due to billing address being different than deliver address. Did not stop them from charging my debit card which still shows pending. Changed the delivery address to match billing address. Didn't work. Called and emailed repeatedly over a week. Spent hours with emails and talking to customer service. Promises made like " I have changed the address and it will go through" to "I've escalated to our finance pet and they will email or call you once the order is processed" not call no email...not one promise kept. Spent 26 minutes on phone last time only to have them put me on hold for 7 minutes then just disconnected. Absolutely horrible service. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT not bc of the product but the customer service.

One of three sensors was faulty with horrible customer support. I decided to try them because I favored the “every minute” data that their system offered. I subscribed to a 3 month period, but for an unexplained reason on their part, they cancelled the order and they were not able to give me a timely explanation so that I could reorder. Their customer service absolutely does not care to rectify a problem.
The first sensor worked well
The first sensor worked well. No complaints. The second failed immediately. I ran through all the troubleshooting steps. The device failed to connect. The error screen read ‘Biosensor ended early. Whatever the reason we’ll help you replace it.’ That was a lie.
Customer service has not responded to my emails. The phone number plays an obnoxious message about trouble shooting sensors that don’t work. No one picks up. No option to leave a message.
Disappointed
Never have a person write directions who was either part of the development team or trained by same. It appears they didn’t use focus groups to prefect its use for the common individual.
Most of the manual appears to be a lawyer’s dream job.
I personally hate the self serving , canned support dialogues.
Issues - I’m assuming that to see “yesterday” you push the yesterday arrow? How about reviewing your week? Got yesterday a few times. Good luck on past week. It would be nice if you could reliably pull up either or any beneficial data without being on the development team.
In short, providing a video link showing how to operate each step to open the various data information retrieval ports would be necessary. More importantly when it doesn’t open how to verify what’s wrong.
I’m going to try to save my 2 weeks, but I have no idea what it will look like or if I get it at all based on my experience with it thus far.
I looked online and here’s the product team director speaking too fast, sounding like a man selling a stolen car.
So I’m not impressed and I’m looking for another brand with better reviews.

Really not impressed
I’ve just wasted an hour trying to place an order with Lingo.
I tried paying with multiple credit cards and the checkout/software repeatedly hangs, so the payment can’t be completed. What makes it worse is how difficult it is to get customer support — there’s no realistic way to get help when the system is failing.
In the end, I gave up and went elsewhere. The payment flow needs fixing, and customer support needs to be accessible.
No Support with Broken Sensor
My first biosensor stopped working within 24 hours. I got an error saying to contact them for a replacement. I have contacted them via support email and chatbot over 5 times in the last week and a half. Each time I got a confirmation acknowledging my email, and never heard back from anyone to send a replacement. It was a waste of $50 dollars, simply down the drain. If you’re considering using them, don’t.
