The manager is very unprofessional treats her customers with length of disrespect which in turn goes to her work staff Staten Island and Richmond ave you know who you are not everyone’s is so nasty and unpleasant but it all starts with management if you are nasty everyone under you will be lead by example…or don’t be a leader not the job for you dissatisfied costumer!!!!

Not impressed at all with meat and produce quality. Checkouts are ridiculous. Customers are in a long line with one cashier. Then they open another and close one. What sense does that make. Can't buy everything you need to make even a simple meal complete without having to go somewhere else. Really not worth the time and effort, rather pay a little more in one location and get everything

Poor management @ Hyattsville MD location. Shelves constantly empty…restocking carts in every aisle during business hours. Shouldnt this be done overnight like most normal grocery stores? Never more that two cashiers open even with long lines. Employee will just stand there and look when lines are all the way to the back of the store. It’s like ALDI without the savings. Never again smh

Three hours after opening they were out of the weeks sale items. Store was dirty. One cashier. Overcharged on milk. This lacey twsp NJ store has been a failure since opening. With an Aldi within one mile the won't be in business long. New Jersey with the largest freshest blueberries in the country right now and they're selling blueberries from Miami. There is never anyone to complain to. And they don't seem to care if you do find someone to ask a question of. It's a failure of management whoever is in charge of advertising and ordering should be fired it's easy to find incompetent people.

I was Excited to see the wild caught half Salmon Fresh never frozen fillet's on sale. I went to the store and purchased a large order of many items as well. As I exit any grocery store, I immediately place cold foods in freezer coolers with ice packets to ensure I never have spoiling. The fish had an expiration date that should have lasted through fathers day weekend where I intended to smoke it outdoors. Upon day 2 I started to smell an odor in our refrigerator and began investigating where it was coming from. I pulled everything out and couldn't find the culprit. It couldn't be the fish right? Not with that far of expiration date and not seeming to be thinly cryosealed. By the morning of day 4 the refrigerator odor was unbearable and my family wouldn't go near it to eat anything out of it. I had placed the fish in not 1, but 2 garbage bags and the odor was ungodly when I opened them. It was definately the fish. I called Lidl customer service and recorded the call. I was told that they didn't want it back and to throw it out. I told them they needed to IMMEDIATELY contact my store and investigate before someone eats it and gets sick. I was told that someone would call me back? I was also told I'd recieve an email regarding reimbursement. Neither happened and I can almost guarantee you that many fish were sold to unsuspecting customers at my store. With my entire conversation falling on Deaf ears from a third party, I tried looking up Lidl corporate offices. I found a number for compliance and phoned once again going over the entire story which has left my refrigerator unusable with an odor after scrubbing and using many baking sodas. AMAZING! I spoke to 2 different reps and neither could pronounce the store name correctly. Again.. I was dealing with outsourced 3rd party service vs. Actually speaking to a Lidl representative. All I can say is, if someone gets sick eating bad fish in my area, Lidl definately deserves the liability and backlash for it. The store is far for me and without a direct number to warn them. If something bad happens it was definitely Not from my lack of trying. I guess Lidl is insured and they Honestly don't seem to care what happens or what has happened. A lack in caring through cheaper outsourcing is definately not worth the cost in a loss or sickness of a customer. This is most Definitely an issue for me and anyone paying for trusted fresh groceries from Lidl. If I do not hear from Lidl after this, I will be filing complaints through every Government Agency division on food and buisness in the State of GA for Lidl's failure to take action regarding something this serious and give them my recorded calls.

If I could lidl would give a 0 stars I never been in a food store that has one check out open. And the one check out the guy walks away to move bottles then walks away agian. People are trying to check out instead there waiting on line. This is the fourth time I was on line and had to wait for someone to check out.

They carry a very limited supply of advertised items and they don't do rain checks. So, they entice you with ads (eye candy), however their supply on door busters is extremely limited and is out of stock 10 minutes after they open. Employees agree this is a huge issue and seem exasperated when customers complain. I really dislike this place and vowed to never go back!!

This review is for the Lamb meat in the Columbia, SC Lidl Store:
The Swift Brand lamb cutlets were without question the worst cuts of lamb I have ever had in my life. I've eaten lamb in Greece, in Israel, in South Africa and in other countries around the world as well as around the U.S. and nothing compared to the low quality in Lidl's Swift brand Lamb. It was all bone, fat and gristle. I would not even throw the leftover into the nearby pond for the turtles to eat. In short - simply terrible. We won't be going for any other products from Lidl. Thank you!

Check your receipt before leaving store. I had a couple of bad experience with the cashiers. I shop at Lidl on Main St. Belleville,NJ.One time was charged for an item I did not purchase. The cashier could not be more rude. Another time was charge regular price when on sale. The managers are not much better,no apology. I wrote to the home office. Never received a reply. Shame on them.Horrible customer service.

I had been a loyal customer, however, when I dare question why they excluded long time customers from their grocery giveaway, they resorted to lying. The marketing & managers had the customer service reps lie. They thought they were too good to offer up an honest response. Corporate is horrible as it relates. They think they are too big to fail, that they can treat consumers any way they like. They are fine w/accepting our money yet will ignore & lie to you when you question them. They get less than 1 star for this. I wrote them on Mar 2023, they have failed to even respond. That's what utter arrogance looks like & no respect for customers looks like

Purchased a $75 Darden gift card on April 14 at Wilson, NC store. It was not activated by cashier. Wife called number on card to verify it was not activated. Went back to store, no refund for gift card. Had to file a case with company, has been two weeks with no decision from "customer service department ". There should be an option for 0 star reviews.

Lidl is ok as a grocery store,but I went to the west Spartanburg location yesterday and the store had put up a stupid sign (no concealed weapons allowed). That make the store a gun free zone for law abiding citizens, but not for the criminals. I think common sense lets us know that criminals don't obey laws hinse that is why they are criminals. Lidl is putting their employees and there customers in danger by the stupid sign. I will never shop in a gun free zone. If the store has a sign no shopping in that store. Not just because I can't carry my gun in that store, but because the criminals see the sign and know they are likely no other guns in the store but theirs. It's just common sense that is so uncommon in today's world. By the way I do own a business and if I ever post the sign ( no concealed weapons allowed) yo know I have went crazy.

The lidl locaked in little river turn pike and old Columbia pike has an issue with the eay prices are posted. Often there is un accuracy between the product and the price. Seems that it is expected the customer to review the check. Today, in the frozen section the price for shrimps did not match with the product. As a result the cashier charged $10 more. The manager, Paul, was unable to recognize that there was a mistake in the display and in the description of the products. It is not the first time happens in this store. The information was misleading and inaccurate. A simple “PR” skills of the manager would have prevented the sent of this review. Kindly, make sure your staff display products accurately and fairly and that the managers like Paul get some PR training. Beyond that i like the store

Being from Europe, I was/am excited about Lidl. Great stores with fantastic employees (in the Raleigh area at least). But Corporate decisions are terrible. Logistics are sucks (often the advertised goods are 'always' sold out), but the most irritating is that they don't have scales (or they removed them from stores who had scales). Lot of fruit is sold per weight and only at the register the price is known. The store managers agree with me, because they also get so many complaint, but corporate management refuses scales. 5 stars if they bring the scales back and improve logistics of advertised goods.

I had terrible experience at Lidl with an employee accusing me of stealing cans of soup that I paid for! Don't visit this store!!!! Poor service and management acting as security guards. Stay AWAY!

Although lidl does have good prices, the problem i have with the shopping is that their cashiers machines rarely accept debit cards, or is rigged to not accept them! I never have any problem with the other groceries stores in the area, except Lidl, but miracuously the lidl cashiers machine works perfectly fine when i use my credit cards! So i give them 5 thumbs down for fraud!

This is the second time this has happened. I bought the dinner roll baggett that were on sale buy 1 get 1 free i picked up 6 was charged for all 6. I also bought 1 pack of Sabrett beef frank that were also on sale for 3.89 and was charged full price. I called in and was told by a rep name laura that i need not wait so long next time. (there should not be a next time) any more, I told I would like a call back and would reconsider whether i want to go back to their store. Because she has to go thru the achives to find the sale price. Horrible response & customer service.

Tony at the Woodstock Lidl has the ability to make you feel like the "most important customer!" Always SO friendly, accommodating, and professional.

Was at Lidl 9795 Liberia Ave. Manassas Virginia and was assisted by Ray. He is a great asset to Lidl in providing customer service that went above and beyond. He made my husbands and my visit wonderful. Will definitely tell all our friends and family to go to this store.
