What the? If someone not employed more than 12 months, they won't pass your referencing? Where are they supposed to live to work for 12 months??? Unnecessary excessive information harvesting company!!!. I will skip the proposed landlord and move over to another bcos of this company!!

Phoned this morning because I was having issues viewing a document that I needed to sign. Got through to James what an absolute legend, room the stress out of the situation for me by sorting my issues on the phone whilst talking me through it. There should be alot more people like James what an asset to your company. Thankyou James for all your help this morning and I hope someone passes this on to you.

Easy to speak too, you can check at what point your application is, and they email if there is a change in your stage. Quick responses to questions via email, polite staff, process went through quickly

Lovely service from Liam at The Lettings Hub. He was very friendly and helpful.

I cancelled my rental application in favour of purchasing rather than renting.

The lettings hub have refused to delete my personal data after I withdrew, and now are ignoring my legal requests for a SAR and for my information to be removed from their systems. This is against GDPR and they have no legal right to retain my data especially as I have never rented property previously nor will I in the future.
Quite questionable actions, I do not trust companies who retain information with no legal grounds. I wonder who this information is bring shared with if they think they can ignore these requests. Legal action pending!
Delete my data now!

Jake was really friendly, helpful and professional

He was helpful,knowledge and got my referencing through speedily while i was still on the phone.
The form seems simple enough to follow until you go wrong then I couldn't sort it myself.
Later i called again regarding another issue but the other guy(i didn't catch his name) gave me the wrong information,and its still not sorted yet.

The application process with The Lettings Hub is far too invasive. They demand huge amounts of personal and financial information, far beyond what should be reasonably required. It feels more like data harvesting than a tenancy check.

Worse still, once you’ve finished using their service, they refuse to remove your personal data when requested. Under UK GDPR you have the right to erasure, yet they choose to hold on to your information instead of respecting your privacy.

If you value your data and privacy, be very cautious about dealing with this company.

Liam has always been super helpful & quick to respond to reference requests! Very professional company- would recommend to landlords & agents.

If I'd been asked to do this review the same day morning I first contacted this company it would have been 1* review or even none. The software or database or whatever they use is crap!. The other girl I spoke to in the morning trying to resolve my issues was also the pits. She was unhelpful, uninterested, reactive to anything I said and a waste of space. There are many more people more deserving of her job and she should be finding that out. Fortunately I tried again in the evening when home from work and in front of my laptop - and this time I got Jessica and she is the ONLY reason I'm writing this review and its for her only that there are any stars at all.

Jessica was wonderful. She understood I was tired, fed up, exasperated with the useless technology that wasn't working and form that I was unable to amend and she put it all right. She deserves 6 stars. The other girl deserves a P45. Jessica should be training others and rewarded for it.

I'm still not completely finished with this company since I am renting through an estate agent that use them, but lets just say, if I hadn't had Jessica not only would I probably have torn up the whole deal but also would have refused to work with any of the companies involved again so lets hope it is now plain and smooth sailing because if its not like the other 1* reviewers I too will be putting in a formal complaint.
