When my insurance renewed. They changed my payment date without informing me, and subsequently, the payment failed as a result of it, and they are charging me 70% of the original price as a late fee for their error. Customer service has been unhelpful, and they have been ignoring my email. Ridiculous!

Update:

What you state in your response is simply incorrect correct.

My payment date prior to it renewing was the 25th, as I had this amended a couple months after moving in. I have the records to prove this.

I work for an agency that uses Lettingshub, for referencing services, and I specifically wanted to leave a 5 star review for Ashlea. Every time I’ve spoken with her, whether by phone or email, she has been prompt, attentive and incredibly helpful!!

She is knowledgeable, informative and genuinely kind and always willing to help!! When I’m dealing with more complex referencing cases involving tenants or guarantors, she is always patient and quick to explain what’s happening and what the next steps are for that tenant or guarantor going through referencing.

I was assisted by Sarah N. who managed to rectify mistakes made by other Lettings Hub employees, who did not communicate when an impasse was reached in the verification process, and instead sent cryptic emails which did not infer the nature of the delay.
Sarah assisted me via phone call on 2 separate occasions, both in which she was personable, efficient and understanding as to the nature of my query.
She managed to rectify the issues I experienced quickly and showed exemplary customer service during both interactions.
It was refreshing to speak to an actual human instead of a chatbot, and I strongly recommend calling The Lettings Hub directly if you have any questions regarding your referencing and verification process, as it is a much more direct route than via email.

I cannot recommend Fortune Ogunmola highly enough! From start to finish, he was incredibly professional, generous, and understanding. I was in a difficult situation and needed urgent support, and Fortune went above and beyond to resolve everything quickly and smoothly. He even arranged a one-off refund as a goodwill gesture, which truly showed his dedication and care for his clients.
Fortune is a credit to Lettings Hub, and his approach made a stressful situation completely manageable. If you need someone who genuinely cares and delivers exceptional service, he is the person to speak to.

Appalling – Platform Not Fit for Purpose

I found The Lettings Hub’s online tenancy reference platform completely unusable. The system repeatedly failed to accept valid documentation, making it impossible to progress an application. Despite requesting reasonable adjustments before submitting a holding deposit, these were ignored, leaving the process inaccessible for applicants with disabilities.

The platform’s failures create a real risk of financial loss, exclusion from the rental market, and missed housing opportunities. Manual verification is essential, yet the default process assumes all users can navigate a flawed online system. This experience was stressful, frustrating, and entirely avoidable.

The Lettings Hub must urgently address these serious accessibility and usability issues.
