Poor customer service
My only advice is that you need to do your own research beyond the website descriptions. I had a few issues and customer service basically said tough- you should have looked into it more.
The hot tub keeps slowly deflating, the air jets are cold and uncomfortable, it takes a looooong time to heat up, the instructions are shockingly poor and the chemicals are very difficult to balance. Being disabled and saving to use this for health and recovery reasons, I am really disappointed and upset. I would never recommend this company

Not assembled the hot tube just yet with it been sub zero out door but can say had a few now and love them the after care is fantastic and the speed of delivery was great and quick
Getting a refund is a dreadful experience.
I cancelled my order 21 days ago before it was dispatched.
I am still waiting for a refund after repeatedly being told it was being sorted. I have had to raise a dispute with PayPal. There is no need for this terrible service.

I have had constant problems with…
I have had constant problems with inflatable lids for my St Moritz hot-tub. This company asked for proof, insisting I had to cut pieces from the faulty lid. I've since found there has been a multitude of complaints re these lids. I would give this company a wide berth.

Lay-z-Spa Falling apart
I’m incredibly disappointed with Lay Z Spa and the quality of their products.
I purchased a Maldives hot tub and within 9 or so months it was breaking down inside and i had rubber bits floating in the water. I contacted them and the liner was replaced under warranty. I was told this was a known common fault with this product. After another 6-8 months the same thing happened to the replacement.
They sent me another replacement liner which was deformed and bulging when inflated, so yet again another was sent!
We are now on liner number 4 and surprise, surprise this is also falling apart inside and there is rubber everywhere. Really large pieces (5-10cm) and just an incredible about of small bits that you can’t even fish out with a net. Out of all the 3 tubs that have fallen apart this is the worst. I am extremely concerned about what damage this could be causing the pump at this stage so can no longer use the tub.
What amazes me is they keep sending out defective products and work on the basis that eventually you will run out of warrantee period or just give up.
I have contacted the customer services team and advised them of the ongoing issues, however as my original purchase date was over 2 years ago they are advising me that it is now out of warranty. Even though the latest replacement liner is only 9 months old! The product is not fit for purpose.
These are considered purchases when costing £1500 and not a disposable item that only lasts a few months.
UPDATE: Provided my details within 2 hours and its now been 48 hours and no contact from anyone. Seems like it was just a standard response so it looks like its being dealt with.
I'll update again in Lay-Z-Spa actually do get in touch and resolve......
UPDATE 2:
As I expected... a standard reply and nobody got in touch even though they asked for my details.
Basically their liners (the tub bit) only last for 8-9 months and they will replace them until the 2 years is up. After that it's tough luck even if the replacement liner breaks down. I wish i could upload images here as the state of my tub is just incredible. It's black all over and 1000's of tiny bits of rubber in the water!
DO NOT BUY ANY OF THEIR HOT TUBS IF YOU WANT TO USE IT FOR MORE THAN 2 YEARS.

Missing pieces - no refund
Very Disappointing Experience
My mum ordered a Lay-Z-B Spa surround. The order was never completed because one part was lost, and the parts that did arrive were later collected after being told a refund would be issued.
We are still waiting for that refund. My parents have paid in full and have neither the product nor their money back.
This has been a stressful and frustrating experience for our family. Would not recommend

I ordered a Lay-Z-B Spa surround on 10/11/25. Delivery failed repeatedly on 12/11, 14/11, 17/11 and 20/11, despite me staying home each time. Only part of the order arrived — one box was lost in transit and later confirmed as untraceable.
I raised a case with customer services on 20/11/25 and was eventually told there was no replacement stock. I was instructed to return the two boxes I did receive before a refund could be issued. These parts were collected by the company’s courier.
Despite this, I am still waiting for my refund. I have paid in full, I do not have the product, and the company has recovered the items — yet months later I am still out of pocket.
Poor delivery, missing items, and extremely disappointing customer service. Be very careful ordering from this company.
