Over £300 i paid for my scanner from launch itself. These scanner are junk, they don't connect, the battery goes flat without ever using it. Ive had it a year and the battery it seems actually needs replacing. You cannot get hold of customer services.
If you are thinking of buying any model in the launch range , just dont you'll be throwing away hundreds for a bit of useless crappy plastic.

Super disappointed
have contacted CNLaunch 3x for support with my Launch CRP919EV and had no answer from them.
i have spent £300 on a diagnostic tool that doesnt perform even a simple diagnostic of my car ECU and cant get support
i am super disappointed and wont buy any other product from this company ever again.
I had a Autel Diagnostic tool before and was just amaizing, the support worked well and never had issues for 3years.
decided to change brand and horrible

I AM HAPPY WITH MY PURCHASE OF X431 EASY TO USE GOOD SUPPORT.

I am supper disappointed with Launch pro 3. I thought if just going into some setting just to see what’s available on my ecu on my Renualt Megan 3rs. I went into the throttle body learning. There was NO WARNING saying if you go into this it could have a negative outcome. So went into the throttle learning nothing happens just a sign say complete. Going out of the setting trying to start the car and nothing happing. For some reason this setting has cut the signal to the injectors. I have logged complaints about this and all they say there’s a problem with the throttle position sensor.

What a load of crap…. From a perfect running car to a non runner a month now taking the car back and forth the people who has been testing and checking just to tell me they can not find the problem.

Renualt customer be very careful for using the launch on your vehicle.

Launch your feedback and your assistance to help me sort this problem has costed me over R50 000 already.

And still the car is not starting just because of you shit product.

Terrible service product a con. I bought a launch product and it kept restarting would not start the updates take for ever and it only does basic function and you have to pay £4.99 a month for each add on not impressed it’s more expensive than what you get in return. I will never buy another Launch product. I emailed launch for help months ago and I am still waiting for a response.

It’s finally arrived!! I ordered my Launch Creader CRP129X on 12/11/2025 and received on 21/11/2025. Communication is zero with this company. i did get a notification from DHL 4 days after purchase i emailed several times for update no response. It was shipped from Germany. but overall if you’re patient, it’s worth the wait it’s a great tool, I am very pleased with it.

Launch X431 V+ PRO 2024 – Buyer Beware

I purchased the Launch X431 V+ PRO 2024 through Amazon, which turned out to be a mistake.

After contacting Launch USA for support, I was informed that my unit was purchased from the European market by an unauthorized reseller, then resold on Amazon with misleading advertising. Because of this, Launch USA will not provide support—service is only routed through China tech support.

Key Issues:

No U.S. support is available. All support is email-only through China. Their website and chat are essentially useless.

The software is locked behind an annual subscription ($678/year). Without renewal, the entire device becomes unusable—essentially a very expensive brick.

The included tablet is old and outdated.
My Experience:

Tech support finally responded.

Customer service was unresponsive, repetitive, and dismissive.

Despite paying over $1200, I was left with a useless device.

This product might work initially, but once problems arise, you’re on your own. Launch USA clearly warns against buying from Amazon or unauthorized resellers, but Amazon continues to list these units.

If you are in the U.S., do not purchase Launch tools from Amazon. Buy only from authorized U.S. resellers if you want reliable support. Otherwise, expect delays, extra costs, and zero accountability.

Autel scan tool, continues to perform well with proper U.S. customer support. Compared to that, this Launch device feels like a very expensive paperweight.

Got a Launch Creader V looking for an update contacted Launch they said my Creader is not one of theirs so I have asked many times is it a copy? No reply poor customer service

Save yourself time and effort these are fake and terrible dodgy customer service lesson learnt it’s cheap for a reason .

Great tool which helps me with a complete diagnostic scan of the vehicle. Also the support is fantastic, i am very happy about the product and all the tools with it.

I purchased a launch x 431 pro elite which failed and was replaced by Amazon. That’s the good part. What people need to know is that this is an overseas product. There is zero support from the American supplier of same product. They only refer you to an overseas email that is extremely hard to get an answer out of. I don’t want to return the whole product or accessory I bought to go with it but there is no help coming. In trying to communicate the customer service email person told me I didn’t have the right product id. SS#. I was looking right at it. Buy from American supplier instead. Similar unit will cost you more here but support is available. Would not recommend this product!! Buyer beware.

Christ on a bike, where do we start?

First off, if you're looking to get into car diagnostics do yourself a favour and look at other tools available on the market. My experiance with Launch and their "customer service" is one of the most tedious and unproductive to date!

This is a 700 quid unit with absolutely no aftercare support. I've had an ongoing problem with a tablet reset. First port of call is Launch UK who TL;DR don't answer the phone or reply to voice messages, then when you do chat with them they can't help, well done people.

Was told to contact overseas.service in China which I did then quickly found out that their mail server is bounching emails back with access denied. So I then decided to contact x431.net who, you guessed it can't help or have any suggestions on how to remedy the issue.

Consider this, spend 700 quid on a flashy Launch Diag tool, be unlucky enough to have a problem to find out that nobody can help!

I bought x431 VII with 5 years warranty after one year stop working and they are not responding and messages me reset and it’s not reset my tab told them still they are saying reset it

The product is fake not working properly.problem to get money back the company playing mike mouse . Need to go through pay pay to get the money back.avoid only problems

Do not purchase launch products they do not replace or repair items under warranty once you've bought it and they got your money that's as far as it goes

I was led to believe that this was a uk website.The tool didn’t do what they said, they agreed to refund but I had to return it to China. I spent £121 on postage and they haven’t collected it from customs. PayPal were absolutely no help at all. Do not purchase from their website. I am £620 out of pocket with nothing to show for it

purchased a diagnostics and have had no tracking info for a week and was meant to be 2 day deliver. cant contact them as no one responds. have escalated the claim with paypal. and hoping to get a refund. the site is obviously a scam and i wont be receiving anything

Have spent the last week trying to get help from launch to resolve my issue of lost Vci Bluetooth adapter. Seems like no one is able to help or advise where I can get adapter and cost. Or any contact email or number. I bought the 2023 launch x431 pro v elite. Not that impressed with unit either.

Dear Sir/ Madam,

I have spoken to Simon several times regarding of my order what the company is unable to provide to me but I have still not received any email confirmation of the cancellation or respond for my complaint. However no email confirmation about the refund either.

I am extremely frustrated and I am looking to get this sorted within 2 working days otherwise I am opening the case with Action fraud as this is not fair since middle of June.
