lastminute-cottages.co.uk seems to be a catch all of numerous cottage sites for getting the specific dates I wanted, precise location perhaps not so important in our case. I liked the ability to identify 'non-partner' cottages (to eliminate *booking* through a very large platform who've I've had bad experiences with before and vow never to book through again).

Great easy site to use! Done in a jiffy and relieved the confirmation emails straight away...I'd previously tried to book a cottage on VRBO, slow, glitchy, kept having to enter details over and over so this was great. Thank you!

Nereden başlasam bilmiyorum? Londra'ya vardığımızda bir bakkala bırakılmış bir anahtarla odamızı teslim aldık, hiç bir görevli yada ilgilenen yoktu, karşı sokakta dediler kendi çabalarımızla tek tek apartmanları gezerek bulduk. Öğlen 3'de teslim olacağı için bavullarımıza bavul başına 5 sterlin (pound) ödeme yaparak bakkala teslim ettik. Öğlen 3'de teslim olacak temizlik yapılıyor dediler ve biz saatlerce sokakta bekledik. Teslim aldığımızda oda inanılmaz kirli ve pisti, koltuklarda yemek artıkları vardı. Yerler ve oda inanılmaz kokuyordu. Yataklar fotoğraflarda görüldüğünden çok farklı, yataklar küçücük 2 kişinin yatması imkansız. Bir 4 kişilik bir aile olduğumuz için çok zor oldu bizim için. Tuvalette sifonu çektikten sonra ellerinizi lavaboda yıkamak için suyu açtığınızda elleriniz yanacak kadar sıcak su akıyor, ilk gün ellerim yandı. Eğer sifonu çekmeden lavaboda suyu açarsanız normal sıcaklıkta su akıyor, bu nasıl bir saçmalık? İkisinden birini tercih etmek zorunda kalıyorsunuz, ya tuvaletin sifonunu çekeceksiniz ya da ellerinizi yıkayacaksınız. Tercih sizin. Oda hiç güvenli değil, camları elinizle yukarı kaldırdığımızda direk açılıyor ve kilitlenmiyor, gece hiç güvenli değildi çok korkarak uyuduk. Cam aralarından da aşırı soğuk geliyordu. Odanın halıları pislikten görünmüyordu bile ne renk olduğunu bile anlayamadık. Kısacası çok çok çok kötüydü. Ben bu yorumu yaptıktan sonra beni arayıp yorumumu geri çekmem karşılığında para teklifinde bulundular. Çünkü çok kötü bir tatil yaşadık. En azından zararımızı karşılarlar diye düşündük. Ama sahte bir belge gönderip yarı ücreti gönderdiklerini söylediler, ve tabi ki Buda yalandı. Birde sahte belge gönderdiler ödeme yapıldığına dair, şimdi bu sahte belge ile Londra'daki arkadaşım aracılığı ile dava açacağım. Onları uyardım ama ciddi olduğumu anlamadılar. Kısacası çok kötü bir tecrübeydi sakın gitmeyin hem rezalet bir tatil yaşarsınız hemde dolandırılırsınız.

Absolutely immaculate lodge. Everything we needed was there. Lovely quiet area for walks. Enjoyed the log fire and cosy feel. Ordered a take away curry which was dropped off at the front door. Great for dogs, lovely fenced off area for your dog to have a run around.
