Communications once contract has been agreed are so bad. Fitters didn't appear until mid afternoon on day of installation, 1 week break in between fitting with partial fitting just left during this period, no communications for either of these. I had to do all the calling of them for updates. Once the agreement is signed they simply do not care.
When you speak to the staff they are very nice and friendly but their overarching customer service is probably some of the worst I have experienced. Literally still waiting for the job to be finished as I type this review!

The new window I had fitted seems fine. However the company wasn't great in terms of communication/reliability, and they managed to damage a wall and a painting, and leave a lot of mess, during the installation.
There were no apologies initially when I flagged this up to the company, but to be fair later they were very apologetic and arranged for the damage to the wall to be repaired (although they booked the repair without checking if I'd be home or even telling me!). They seemed to take my complaint and the issues with their fitters seriously.

Had our whole house glazed by this company 4 years ago. Numerous snagging problems in first 12 months, difficult to get after-sales service. Four years later a window measuring 2m x 1.5m broke, from the inside with no apparent cause. LDG diagnosed from photos only - no site visit - "spontaneous fragmentation" and it's not covered by warranty! After a battle they agreed to replace at cost. Few days after they phone me at work demanding payment of the invoice they sent me - just one problem, no invoice sent! Installations Manager comes to measure glass and is asked about "spontaneous fragmentation" - he then says not possible to determine it's that until the unit is taken out. Ludicrous circular argument ensues. Eventually date agreed for fitting - they don't show up and think it's perfectly ok to rearrange for another date regardless of loss of earnings (I'm self-employed). I cannot begin to say how much I regret choosing this company to undertake our £40k job. I also question the value of a warranty - it seems reasonable to me that the buyer would expect glass not to spontaneously shatter and the manufacturer to make the buyer aware that this can happen and if it does then it would not be covered by warranty.
UPDATE 24/10/2024 3 guys came out to replace the unit and did an excellent job on a very difficult task. The unit is huge and it was a real struggle for them to get it out especially as it had broken like a car windscreen (a million small pieces). They managed and with no further damage or mess.
Interestingly, I have now had two requests from LDG to remove this review - I invite the reader to draw their own conclusions from that.

New double glazed doors and windows on the front of our house had always been something we wanted. LDG were so friendly with their response, no pushy sales. Communication was seamless. The gentleman who came do give us a quote and suggestions was helpful and very good with his advice and recommendations. But the final fitting from the team was outstanding! No mess no rubbish left and I can’t tell you how our house has been transformed and so has our life’s. It looks not a patch on the house before, you wouldn’t believe it was infected the same house to look at from the outside. Thanks you

I wanted to replace my ageing wood conservatory and it’s polycarbonate roof, so I could use it at anytime of the year, be it Summer or Winter, so went for the LDG Warmseal Roof with Tapco Grey Slate Tiles & White UPVC frame & I have no regrets, Phil & Rob from LDG were brilliant, as was the Plumber , Plasterers & Electrician

Your workers did cause the damage internally and externally your photographs doesn't prove anything at all and don't you dare tell me that the damage that was done internally was from before like you live in my property don't go covering up for the sub contractor's that you hire your hired contractor's did come and they did disrespect my property at all times while they were there.
So whoever replied to my message don't go defending the in defence able because you were not present in the house keep your views to yourself thank you very much. As far as looking out for your customers don't even go down that route quite a few people have made complaints about the kind of service you have provided I don't need to say anything more.

From day one in March 24 till completion in September 24 for one front door it can only be described as a shambles.

Company didn't turn up when arranged to leaving hours sometimes no notice .. poor communication between the office staff and the installation team.. wrong estimate of work later changed even though they took a picture of the leaded glass being broken so were aware of the damage..
Failed to turn up for a 5 minute job and gave no notice whatsoever sat for four hours waiting.
All things that were easily sorted by picking up the phone but seemed quite simply not bothered.
Offer £200 as a gesture of goodwill then said because of the damage to the leaded arch at the top of the door it would cost more money even though they examined the damage in March and took pictures.
Seht one installation person to do a two person job therefore he couldn't go to his other planned job so I could see first hand how other customers get let down first hand ...
LDG constrictive critism sort your Comms out and don't just leave customers wondering what is going on multiple times

We've just had our windows fitted in our old cottage by Harry and Scott. We asked for them to be done sympathetically, with little plastic trim and they didn't disappoint! They went above and beyond to make sure the finish was perfect for us. Thank you, we love the look of our new sash style windows and appreciate your hard work.

I've recently had my house fitted with windows and doors. This is my second time using Lancashire double glazing and like my last house I am so happy with the whole experience. It was refreshing to see the salesman Chris Gabbott who I previously dealt with 15 years ago. It was an enjoyable experience with him as there was no pushy sales tactics, he listened to my requests and gave good advice. From sales to completion it couldn't have gone any better.

The sales person who visited was very knowledgeable and gave good advise about the pricing of products made the decisions for what we wanted very clear. The fitters were amazing very clean and tidy explained a lot of what they were doing and how the windows work etc very happy with the service

LDG installed a supalite tiled roof on my conservatory, completed July 2023. The customer service was oustanding from start to finish, the salesman Owen was honest and not overly pushy, and the installation team were extremely helpful on the occasions I called up with queries. They were also very accommodating when I requested minor changes to the plan, and kept me updated on when things would happen.

The installers themselves were friendly and polite, I was impressed with how fast they got the job done, and they did a thorough job cleaning up after themselves.

I wanted to see how the roof fared through the winter weather as well as the summer months before posting a review, and I'm pleased to say it has lived up to my expectations and I'm still really happy with it 10 months after installation. The conservatory is now significantly less hot in summer and less cold in winter, so is a usable room all year round. Thank you LDG!

Arranged (30/04), for survey to replace front door on 09/05, this was gratefully timed as “first call” or at least before 11:30 a.m…didn’t arrive…called LDG spoke to Chloe who seemed quite professional, she contacted surveyor and said “don’t ask me why but he has gone to his Wigan call” she said he “he will call on his way home and will check if it can be done without anyone at the property”, ( I had to go to work), she text me back saying someone does need to be there, I called Chloe, busy, and this person was quite patronising in tone bordering on sarcasm, or unhappy in her employment, said surveyor will call prior to attending later in the day…no call…I text questioning this ‘arrangement’ around 16:00, terse reply back saying he will call and has the correct number…no call…no visit…and no one has apologised to me in any of the conversations, now, I am a social housing tenant, and LDG have the contract, I am not paying LDG money to effect this task, so maybe I am not even on the bottom step on their ladder of priority, maybe I don’t know, however it is woeful service and if they are like this with me, how will they be with you?

Chris the sales executive informed us that Mark would be fitting our new glass ( Mark has been ill for soas me time) on arrival 05-03-24 one small pane of glass has a crack .I was informed should be replaced by end of week, then a phone call to say being replaced 20-03-24 then a phone call to say this being cancelled due to over run but guaranteed to be done on 28-03-24 phone call at 9.15 to say yet again could not be replaced due to over run. I was supposed to have a phone call before 12pm that never came so i had to call LDG to be told they are going to guarantee replacement on the 04-04-24 which i am not holding out much hope as i feel i have been let down very badly

Door installed 5 years ago under a 10 year warranty. Door now failing but we are told warranty not valid as having bought house from previous owner and warranty only linked to that person. Not the best warranty as a result or door

Had a conservatory built in 2017 by Lancashire double glazing. Fantastic product and finished was very happy with the finished product . Would highly recommend this company.
