Good paint, with some reservations
Delivery was quick and the paint was well packaged. It is a nice paint to work with and went on well with no spattering. I found the lid of the emulsion very difficult to remove at first and then could not get it back on properly. For a smaller room, I would have preferred the option of a 2.5l tin rather than 5l, which would be in line with other paint brands and more economical as it is a very expensive paint. Only time will tell whether the anti-mould properties actually work.

Small tins - yes, agreed, and most types are listed in 1L and 5L sizes - but so far we have been unable to find any suitable supplier of UN 2.5L cans - if you could call the office on 01524 852371 they can also organize One litre sizes & multiples of all types.

Highly recommend.
Great service, fast delivery though delivery fee at £34 to Northern Ireland (UK) is expensive.
The paint is fantastic! No nasty odours! So pleased to have found Lakeland Paints and getting my house freshened up. Would like more 2.5 litre options for smaller areas as 5litres not always needed. Highly recommend. Great colour choice.

its a wonderful company to do business with. Efficient ordering system and very quick delivery. The quality of the paint is exceptional and definitely no smells off of it which is amazing reduction of VOCs. There is room for slight improvement, the different paints gloss and flat were shipped in the same coloured containers which was confusing and we actually applied the wrong finish to the wall because of that. it would be an improvement to use different coloured containers for the different finishes.

Great paint (for radiators)
Great paint (for radiators): covers moderately well, no smell, dries quick, nice clean brilliant white. Second coat goes on very easily and quickly to fully cover old finish and gives a smoother feeling finish than just the one coat. I got a lot more coverage than suggested - I purchased 1l for 15 radiators and ended up with just under half left!

Yes indeed - vat is added transparently at the point of sale and before any payment is made. We need to invoice in this way as so many sales are trades people, who require an invoice ex vat.

Primer and undercoat great; wood wash less so
The primer and undercoat are great quality and go a really long way. 5 stars for them. The wood wash though gave limited coverage, and the tannins (on old oak boards that had been inside a barn) leached through in several places.

Woodwash - like all woodwash products, ours Is also intended to be translucent - and the coverage is exceptional, at upto 80M2/can depending on surface porosity of the wood.
But oak (and old oak particularly) is indeed notorious for striking through tannins, which is an inherent property of the wood, and is unavoidable (for any brand) - and so we caution against this issue in the instructions. thanks again. ian. tech manager
