Ladybird Insurance Arvostelua 

This morning I had a breakdown, to my surprise there opinions for breakdown is opinion 4 and it’s not running 24hrs services. It’s says there opening hours is from 08:30am - 05:30pm, which is really disappointing I regret registering with ladybirds insurance; this morning 13/12/23 I have to cancel my shift , which I know my colleagues at work are going to really struggle because of the nature of my job.
I managed to get hold of the breakdown . I was transferred to there complain unit by a lady called Louise I spent over 35mins on the phone no responses.😖. This is really disappointing when they want to give quote they pretend to be the best person on earth, what a shame ladybird insurance.

I was try to get a quote but Mark on of there staff manage to explain everything to me and tell me to collect some information from my formal insurance company. And the quotation given to me was better off. Even cheaper from what the machine generates. For now the staff treat me well finger crossed.😄

Dreadful company. Poor customer service and charged extortionate amount to cancel policy. I cancelled after they tried to add nearly £300 to a policy which I started less than a week earlier. Avoid

Insurance more than doubled in price from £611 to £1400 nothing had changed in that year
Customer service agent not interested in telling me the reasons why Aviva wouldn't insure me again and just said ok I will note you won’t be renewing! It’s an absolute con and a cartel for ripping people off!!

Joining this insurance, is a huge headache! the amount of documents they require with very little time when you work a full time job is not recommended. It's a VERY lengthy process. 100% would never reccommend them in a millions years. They ask for documentation which has never been asked for with other suppliers.

RCIB (Right Choice Insurance Broker) Worse Insurance Company while talking to them I realized they are SCAM and just made a website and adding them on the compare website to robbing People by cancelling car insurance within few Hours and charging £60 cancellation charges. I will advise people do not buy any Insurance from them and they are SCAM in the Market and Government should take action against them and I will forward my complain to UK Watchdog and other related departments which regulate the Insurance Industry.

Mostly you get number 1 in comparison sites
which is ripp off company
be careful with excess and any changes costs fortune
they say some validation policy usually we have cool off period, they dont that under 14 days.

if you buy car on 6th of april or 12 th of April and take insurance in September does it really matter?

customer service is also not great
cancellation takes 15% to 20% of your insurance policy

Bought the policy on-line, which was fine until I needed to speak to someone. I called in twice, each time to listen to 4 minutes of some message about payment methods that did not apply to me, so a total waste of time. I then had to wait for another few minutes for someone to answer the phone just to be told there was no-one available to help and to be told they would call me back. In neither case was I called back. Another time there was a queue of 55 people and a wait of over an hour to get through to someone! All I wanted was a price for renewal.
Overall, a complete waste of time. I did not renew (actually paid more to go somewhere else!)

I never knew insurance companies could be so bad, our car was hit start of august while we were away, was told I would get a courtesy car once the car had been looked at it took them over 40 days from the call to come and collect the car, 66 days in they have wrote off the car but now I know it’s going to take another 2 months to sort out a settlement figure. Trying to contact them is a joke because once you start your claim you are dealing with mulitable companies have wasted hours and hours in hold for no one to answer or to answer with update …. We are insured by a company in France who have given it to Davies group to deal with.. it’s like they only link up with a company if it’s as useless as possible and we have already started a complaint 4 weeks about to be told 2 weeks in they gave the complaint to the wrong person it’s been sent to the correct person as a urgent case and we are 2 weeks later and heard nothing ….. I don’t need the email and sorry as if you care but added to bottom of review I have it and I have used it and had nothing back so don’t pretend like you are willing to fix a situation

I would give this company zero stars if I could. I recently changed my car and so informed Ladybird of the change. There was nowhere to tell me the new cost until I had the payment plan come though in a separate email telling me that my premium had gone up from £98 per month to £327 per month! It’s not like I was changing from a fiesta to a Ferrari either! I got a quotes elsewhere for £95 per month so cancelled my insurance knowing that there was a £25 admin fee and a £60 cancellation fee to pay. They have now told me that I have to pay £265 and they will not give me my proof of no claims bonus until it has been paid. They are charging me £176 for 3 days insurance and they somehow feel that this is perfectly fair and justifiable.

If you value your sanity and have any respect for yourself, avoid this company like the plague!!!

Cancelled my insurance without any letters or email.
This resulted in me getting a fine by the police
Will report to ombudsman now
Contacted the place, no communications, getting passed from department to department , feel like nobody knows what’s going on in there.
Avoid at all cost

Never buy policy from ladybird. Canceld my policy. Beggar

They increased my price after I signed.
so I wanted to cancel.

I just no understand how can they still work in uk....

Cancelled policy with no reason and didn't returned my money

Had a never made a claim in 20years quote from a search website of £1118 total cost including but with £850 excess spent 30min on the phone because my car wasn't insurance for a week I had to take a photo to prove I wasn't lying, i took that one then they googled my house to inspect my driveway because I had a mesh driveway that allows grass to grow it wasn't classed as a driveway so then tried to charge me £200 extra for on road parking
imagine making a claim with this company when its this difficult to purchase
