The council was very slow and caused long delays , but Kreston Solicitors stayed patient , helpful , and always kept me updated . They explained everything clearly ,chased up the council when needed , and made sure I understood each step before moving forward.Even with the delays, they made the whole experience much easier and less stressful. We used Kreston Solicitors to both sell our flat last year and buy our new property half a year later. Gulkem and Gurbet were absolutely amazing through both processes, keeping us up to date, were both easy to reach and would always call us back if they couldn't get to the phone. The process with the sale was very smooth, and in terms of our new property we completed in an incredible 7 weeks thanks to their relentless hard work - even the estate agent was impressed when we completed so quickly! We couldn't be happier with their service and we will 100% be recommending them to everyone we know.

Krestons Solicitors (namely Dilan) i found to be incompetent, slow,rude and nearly cost me the sale of my property.
Krestons were 1 of 4 in the property chain and every step was a huge hurdle because of Dilan, often huge delays between emails and when finally receiving a response it would not be satisfactory, she delayed matters far to long for which should have been a straight forward sale. If speed is of the essence then please avoid Krestons and do your homework as they lacked common sense.

The lack of communication, urgency, and due diligence has been unacceptable from start to finish. They have repeatedly failed to keep my solicitor updated or progress matters in a timely manner, despite understanding how time-sensitive the situation is.

Their delays and poor service have put our house sale at risk of falling through, causing unnecessary stress and frustration. Their turn around for responses is around a week.

I would not recommend this company to anyone. If you’re looking for a Solicitor that values customers and understands the importance of meeting deadlines, look elsewhere.

If you require a conveyancing solicitor run as far away from Kreston as possible.

Despite being a paying client, this firm was both lazy and incompetent. Missed emails, responses generated from ChatGPT, and rude insulting replies when concerns were raised.

Actually use any other conveyancing solicitor possible.

Krestons Solicitors provided a very poor conveyancing service. Communication was consistently bad throughout the transaction, and straightforward emails written in plain English were often misunderstood or not properly addressed. Instead of making the process easier, I was left feeling as though I had to do far too much of the work myself, constantly chasing for updates and clarity. I also found their manner rude and dismissive, which made an already stressful conveyancing process even worse. Overall, I was very disappointed with the service and would not recommend them. They even asked me what I wanted my legal argument to be when I wanted to challenge something with the sale, literally their job.

Excellent service from Kreston Law. I received clear advice, timely communication, and a great result. I felt well supported from start to finish. I would also like to thank Dilan for her hard work and excellent service throughout the purchase of my new property.
