Worst bank I have ever used. Had to change. When the lady restructuring our mortgage found out she was not going to make a sale for another few months she lost it.
Cancelled our application out of spite.
Crazy how this can happen these days. Internal training and assessing makes for a truely dumb work force.

1/1000, totally useless. huge wait then no help. DO NOT USE THIS BANK. They are not helping me prevent someone from taking money out my account without my consent. Therefore they are allowing fraud to happen.

I've been with kiwibank for 12 years, moving to them from a UK bank. I use online banking all the time and I love their interfaces and ease of use. But when I visit a branch, or ring them up or email them I feel like I am getting good customer service from real people.
And I appreciate their ethical stance.

Amazing! Super grateful for all the kind words and and helpful information. I needed help and the service was impeccable. In fact from the moment I joined the kiwi bank all I’ve received is support. I’ve now received a new card and the customer service was beyond! I’m still in the process of figuring out the fraud. Yet that’s no fault of kiwi bank. Yet this does leave questions for security.

Absolutely appalling service 2 hours on hold just to be hung up on twice. I've shut my accounts and moved my kiwisaver.

Horrific customer service, terrible online banking, horrific wait times transferring money between your own accounts on weekends. Cannot recommend not using this bank enough, absolutely terrible. If I wasn’t locked in with a mortgage I’d leave immediately.

This is the most useless bank, The worst customer experience and their mobile banking doesn't work 99% of the time, interest rates are insane... a useless bank do not at all recommend its just shocking I had a funeral to get too and their app and online service wouldn't work and I had to wait 1 hour and 50 minutes for someone to answer. I'm over the vull from this bank they are just the worst.

Made it incredibly difficult to even open a bank account in the first place. I came from Australia to NZ temporarily and was not allowed to use a hostel as my proof of address. Luckily I started a job soon after and eventually used this as my address to open the account. Upon returning to Australia I no longer used the number associated with the account and then received comms stating "you have overdrawn your account". Password had expired and unable to authenticate my identity over the phone. When I sought clarification on this I was promptly hung up on after waiting on hold for over 30 mins.

Definitely not happy in the last 2 refixing occasions of my mortgage. Took nearly 3 months to refix my last time, after not understanding what I wanted done even when each person told me they did, then they said I couldn't do it. Finally done but not how it has always been done previously. Not happy after being with them for years, I expected better.

Finally got out! Worse bank in the World..

This bank is the most unprofessional bank I’ve set with.

I’m don’t bank with them and two years ago they attached me to an account that’s not mine with no id required, not sure how illegal that is but they did it…

Now every person a ring up either passes me on to someone new who asks me the same things over and over or they hang up. Literally the worst customer service and the worst processes.

They really need to do some staff training. And update their systems because man they are slow and lacking…. Get with the times kiwibank and also don’t attach random people to accounts that aren’t theirs. I’ll never bank with them ever!

Kiwibank mobile app has frequent outages and glitches causing my account to get locked. Waited 1h and 20mins to get on the line only for them to stop responding to me.

Kiwibank so I have just opened a business account and they charged me bank fees on my initial deposit. The whole lot. Even though the first $4000 is free the whole lot gets fees if you go 0.01 cents over. Is that fair? And no one told me or advised me of this. I feel horrible that this is how they treat me on my first transaction. Now I am stuck with them as the process takes so long. New businesses beware.

Worst bank ever to many reasons to list warning stay away!

One of the worst bank experiences ever, I wanted to cancel my credit card and basically given the run around by both the online services and in-branch service. Can't get a straight answer from the website either. It may be New Zealand owned but definitely not serving the kiwi customer or any customers. Avoid at all cost...

i transfered funds well before 12pm on a monday night from one bank to kiwi bank and here i am waiting for funds to be in my account tuesday morning and the transfer has not shown up i have been waiting for over 2 hours and money is still not in my KB account.i ring up KB and the wait time is over 30 mins KB this is not good enough so im cancelling my KB account sick of the lack of customer service and their huge long wait times

Went on hold for 50 minutes with the support team, then when finally got to them, I started explaining my issue, and they just hung up on me.

the reviews say it all. for me it was delays in processing transfers. terrible service.
