Ladies leather gardening gloves
This was a present for a relative. She was absolutely thrilled with the gloves. She has used them already for picking up prickly cuttings, rose cuttings and hedge cuttings etc and jobs around the garden and said they are fantastic and such good quality. I would certainly buy these gloves again either for a present or myself.

Not impressed
I had great hopes for this but for two reasons, I am not impressed hence two stars.
1. The wooden shaft is secured with two rivets to the steel socket. When pressing down into the turf and moving the aerator around in a circular motion before pulling the tines out, the stock noticeably wobbles in the socket. This does not seem a viable or solid fixing.
2. There is no point in trying to use the aerator on anything but a wet lawn after plenty of rain. If dry, as I found out, the tines go no further than half an inch no matter how hard I step on the steel bar. Added to that, trying to remove the plugs from the hollow tines required a screwdriver and hammer.
Not impressed.

Lawn aerators are designed to work most effectively on damp soil, and this is the condition our Customer Service team would typically recommend before use. When used in suitable ground conditions, soil plugs should generally clear through continued use as new plugs pass through the tines.
