I purchased a kampa 260 air awning a few years ago,and noticed spots of water dropping from the seams I reported this at time but was fobbed off about it been condensation, which was rubbish.
Kampa send me some seam sealer,but made little different.

I would advise not to buy this product

Purchased this bivvy new and have been using for a year now its great inflates very quickly and served me well as a bivvy wish i could have got the overwrap as well for it

Kampa Air awning 390 Pro less than a year old exploded. Tried to go through Kampa as its still under warranty. Told that it was UV damage and not covered. Concerned that the roof was faded and its been up too long. Used twice for a maximum of 3weeks each time. Spent £1500 really pissed off DON'T BUY

Dometic formally Kampa. This company does not adhere to the consumer protection rights here in the UK. Bought a brand new unused canopy with twist lock poles which one would bend in the middle. Their customer service response was its not covered under warranty? ( item bought June 2021).
I will never buy anything with this brand again.

My experience with this company's customer service is awful!!! I paid a large amount of money for the Kampa-Dometic Grande all season 390 air awning with both left and right side extensions, what ever you do think twice maybe 3 times before you commit to purchase any Kampa-Dometic awnings as the roof awning internal canvases are prone to mould and mildew forming on them especially if you have side extensions to the main awning as these block the ventilation vents leaving you unable to ventilate your awning these awnings have a major design fault as you cannot ventilate the awning when not in use.

I have had numerous awnings in the past by other main manufacturer's and never had this problem so my advice is steer well clear of Kampa-Dometic awnings and chose one of the other main manufacturers unless you want a horrible looking internal roof canvases that are harmful to your health with mould spores growing all over it, l cannot let my children play in the awning anymore because of the mould.

My Kampa 340 Pro Awning has exploded causing it to deflate. It was inflated to 9psi using a Kampa auto cut off pump, the outside temperature was 22oc. It was the main inflation leg that exploded causing a large tear in the inner tube and outside casing. Kampa don't advertise a customer telephone number so I contacted them by email. In their reply they said this should not have happened at that pressure and temperature, a sentiment I agree with, they then said that they stocked the parts for the main bladder and sleeve it is £144 plus £7.50 carriage. Not a good outcome.

Brought a Kampa Rally Pro air awning which OK. It is very heavy and compared to our Isabella poled awning, takes longer to put up. The accessories such as the Limpets and the rear legs.....Overpriced rubbish! Not impressed at all. The legs have been used twice and one of them has fallen apart so is now taped together and as for the limpets....the designer needs to be fired!!

I seriously love my kampa air pro awning. We have a Ford transit that we lovingly converted and we purchased the air pro tail gate awning about a year after conversion. We do however now put it on the side sliding door of the van which also works. Easy to put up and pack away and gives us so much space. All the zips are excellent quality. The filling valve is a little fiddly but we’re getting more used to it and it’s getting easier. The awning is heavy but we have had it up in some dicey conditions with very heavy rain and 50mph winds and it kept us warm and dry. More importantly it was still there in the morning! We had the storm straps thank goodness for extra anchorage. We have since bought the kampa tall extension and also the conservatory which we have used twice now with no problems. Really good bit of kit.

STEER CLEAR OF KAMPA TENTS. Overpriced substandard equipment probably made in some sweat shop. Spent £1350 on a Studland 8 air tent and after 2 uses the main entrance zip broke rendering the door useless. Unfortunately this happened just after 12 month warranty.Customer service are an absolute joke. They would not accept responsibility for the poor manufacturing and after lots of emails, the best they offered was a list of tent repairers at my cost. They will never get any more custom from this mug. Jokers!!!!!!

Absolutely over the moon with our 390 Kampa Air awning, it so quick and easy to put up I usually put up by myself it takes all the hassle out of the pitching up and it behaves brilliantly in the wind definitely a real time saver.

Kampa Frontier 400. Had one year of use and roof started to sag. Now when I use the awning there is a large pool of water on top. Kampa won’t replace awning so guarantee appears worthless. They did offer me bespoke blocks to fit to the awning to resolve the sagging roof. Made me think Kampa know this flaw exists. The blocks do not work. Will NEVER purchase anything from Kampa again.

Outstanding customer service. I bought an air 400 awning in 2016 and was impressed with it from the outset, very simple to erect and good quality material. Yes it did suffer from condensation under certain conditions, most do, but this was manageable it also faded over the 5 years of prolonged use, no big deal. I reproof it every year or two, which was a simple brush on liquid when the awning was erected so no problems with leakage. However it did start to leak in the seams of the 4 main air supports causing pooling of water at the base of the supports. Initially I accepted this as wear and tear but thought I would contact Dometic to get their views. They immediately decided to have the awning sent away for repair at no cost to me, brilliant! This was carried out but on return I noticed that the repair was not perfect so made further contact thinking that after 5 years of use this may be the best I could expect, how wrong could I be, I was immediately informed that this was not the standard of repair expected and I was to be sent a new awning and fitted carpet. True to their word both have arrived and the old ones uplifted by carrier. If this cannot be regarded as outstanding customer service I don't know what can!! Thank you again Dometic and I will be a loyal customer for the remainder of my caravanning life. Congratulations to your customer service team!

I have two Kampa driveaway awnings, the Trip and the Crossair. Both great awnings suitable for different length trips. They pitch easily, pack away easily and they are great quality. We use the Crossair the most and have had it three years and had no problems. No condensation, no leaks in heavy rain, it's great. If anything happened, I'd replace with Kampa.

Could never stop it leaking (no it wasn't condensation), everything used to get soaked in the awning. At two years old one of the outer sleeves failed resulting in a burst air tube. Watch out, its the poor quality outer sleeves that cause this, i had to replace all three on the main air poles. Severe fading of the fabric after 4 years, with just two weeks use per year. Roof would pool water even on a perfectly flat pitch. Terrible value, would never buy Kampa again.

Needed a new bladder for awning paid £99 For a new one direct from
Kampa... all in all received about 5/6 bladders all the wrong ones despite extensive detailed emailed with the exact model number! Over 6 months of emails to and fro, terrible costumer service! As an apology the offer me a pulley system that never arrived.

Air Ace 400 awning. It’s 4 years old and may as well be a sieve. It’s not even heavy rain and I spray reproofed it the day before. It has happened since I bought but first it was ‘stitching needs to swell’, then It was ‘condensation’. If it’s the former why don’t they do it at manufacture??? If the second, why do I only get condensation when it rains???
At 2 years old we came back to find an air beam had exploded. Fortunately Towsure were amazing and (eventually) got a replacement for me from Kampa. But it was 2 months later, so we had no awning for 2 trips we went on. This was only 2 months after my dad had the same experience with his awning (same as mine).
So all in all I wouldn’t even use this piece of rubbish to line the bin.

I do not often give reviews but felt I had to on this occasion. We wanted an awning to use for a few weekends in the autumn with our seasonal caravan after our main awning was taken down. We saw a Kampa air 260 pro 2018 model advertised second hand at a good price and bought it. Well what a mistake first evening after a lovely sunny day water dripping everywhere (condensation). We have camped/caravaned for over 45 years and had a bit of condensation before but nothing like this with water dripping everywhere! The next day it rained hard and OMG! Water pouring in everywhere, 8 containers had to be emptied twice and our awning carpet was soaked, awning only two years old! Luckily we supplied photos to the guy we bought it from and he allowed us to return it for a full refund. He told us he had only used it twice in good weather. He was going to proof the roof and sell it at a much reduced price. This was my first experience of a Kampa awning I am sorry to say that based on my experience I would never purchase another new or second hand.

Purchased a new Pro Grande awning in April 2018. From the start had condensation issues and pooling on the roof, which caused staining and mildew. After a year the fabric had faded from charcoal to khaki. 12 months later, the awning roof had rot and was ripped in various places, had to be gorilla taped. It ended its short life at the local tip. Total waste of money wouldnt purchase anything Kampa again!

Having bought the revo very disappointing leaks when raining been told it is only a sunshade but it says in there add you can buy the side and front panels to keep out the elements it does not !!! Suggest if you want a proper zip store buy fiamma

Kampa Filey Air 6, purchased 2013, used once that year, 2014 complete failure of air tubes whilst in use, returned to manufacturer, but retailers repaired as gesture of goodwill and to be fair they replaced perished tubes, (but was it all of them or just those that were damaged?) then the tent was used once a year until this year when once again failures in at least three air poles, air leaks in same three locations and totally unable to be used, after being used for only five one week holidays per year since repair, means it is a very expensive tent £1000.00. I do not think this is good value or a satisfactory quality / durability. Having looked into the design of these earlier Kampa air tents there is a clear design Issue with only one pump inlet with horizontal roof tubes along with small rubber connecting tubes, these perish very quickly and the plastic compression valves and olives appear to be the cause of the perishing, interesting these connecting tubes or valves are all no longer used and each tent now has a pump inlet on each cross beam with no connecting beams. In my view Kampa should be reimbursing any customer who has suffered these faults on these very poor original designs as all the inconvenience it causes, is horrendous, you cannot be expected to check your tent by erecting it at home each time before you set off on holiday. These tents are clearly not fit for purpose, Kampa are not interested, so my advice is to avoid the company completely and look at alternative manufacturers.....buyers beware
