The salesman i dealt with was jason and…
The salesman i dealt with was jason and he was great from start to finish. Deal was smooth with no hassle and was done without visiting the branch until pick-up. When I picked my new car up and driving he ro glasgow, the brake pad warning came on and after a quick call to jason it was agreed I could get the work carried out on my brakes at my local garage and john clark autos would pay the bill which was a great relief.

I visited my Mini dealer for a service…
I visited my Mini dealer for a service in December 24, while there, I was approached by the sales controller who introduced me to the new Mini. At the time I wasn’t in the market to buy, however what impressed me was the friendly and non aggressive sales approach you normally find in many other dealers. 2 months passed and we decided to consider changing to a 5 door Mini, we both visited the dealer and was introduced to our sales executive, who went the extra mile in explaining and detailing our potential choice of car in making our decision very easy to agree on ordering a replacement car there and then. From that point on we have been nothing but impressed on good communication, factual information being extended to us and most importantly “easy to do business with”. When the car was available for changing over, we were very impressed with the way this was professionally handled and also with the knowledgeable and friendly way the car was explained in fine detail. We both want it known that we would certainly recommend this dealer, they deserve every success and the sales people involved in our purchase could not be faulted throughout to what has been a great experience. I have also dealt with the service department over the past 3 years and have also found them to be friendly and efficient in handling my requirements.
Well done John Clark Aberdeen Mini, and all the nice people involved - it has been a pleasure.

Customer Service - the little things.
Customer Service ? I picked up my new mini last December but finally have got round to writing this. I took train from Glasgow where I live and told by salesman he would picked me up at Dundee Station. 5mins from there I got a call to say they were too busy and I should take a taxi to the showroom. Of course it was raining and the taxi rank was empty so I had to walk into the town to get one. Arrived at JC Mini only to find the salesman having a chat in the office with the manager - no other customers. I voiced that I was not happy at coming all that way to spend £40K+ and not even getting picked up. The manager said nothing and the salesman later did his best to apologise. "It was the manager that wouldn't let me pick you up...".
3 months later, the car is going fine but I'm still waiting for my cuddly toy (gift) that I was promised. The salesman Greg Kemp, has ghosted me!
Some will think this is a small complaint and of course it is. But if these guys cannot get the little things right, I hate to think how their after sales will be. For sure I will use a local dealer not Dundee.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback regarding your experience picking up your new MINI in December. We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience and frustration caused by the lack of pick-up at Dundee Station and the subsequent difficulty in getting to our showroom. This is certainly not the level of service we aim to provide our customers, especially those traveling a distance.
We are also very sorry to hear that you have not yet received the promised cuddly toy and that your attempts to contact your salesman, Greg Kemp, have been unsuccessful. This lack of follow-through is disappointing, and I will be addressing this with the team at Tayside.
We understand your disappointment, particularly given the significant investment you made. We value your business and regret that these initial oversights have impacted your perception of our business.
However, after reading your review we think it may have been intended for a different dealership. Our dealership is in Aberdeen and we can see that you dealt with our MINI Tayside dealership. We want to ensure your feedback reaches the correct business so they can address your concerns appropriately - so if you are able to update the location of your review to MINI Tayside that would be much appreciated.

Purchase of new Mini Cooper S
We had a lovely visit to John Clark Mini in Aberdeen. Our salesman Thomas Higgins was knowledgeable and patient when we were discussing finance and talked me through the setting up and of the control panel. He linked up my phone and answered all my questions. Would ask for him again next time around.
