Went to have a look at a new car…
Went to have a look at a new car recently, Scott Arthur and Ross were so helpful, went over different models and explained everything about them. Once deciding on colour and model required the deal was decided they gave us a good trade in price for our old one, Both were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Waited about 3 weeks for the new one to arrive and the handover was smooth and everything explained, would thoroughly recommend this dealership and the 2 salesmen.

How John Clark Aberdeen treat their customers!
My 2nd review of this particular garage. First one was a visit as I was shopping around for a new car and found this one to be the most professional, best customer interaction and they listened to what I was looking for, providing options based on what I told them to make the purchase achievable. Not pushy, not overbearing, just nice, relaxed and knowledgable.
So on my return visit to the Aberdeen branch I was met by a lovely lady at the door of the showroom who set me up with James to go over the purchase of a new Renault Captur Techno hybrid.
The journey from start to finish was easy. The information did not vary in any way from that provided on my first visit. James was very personable and explained the buying process exceptionally well. It just reinforced the impression I got from my initial visit about the garage from my first visit.
I know exactly the times scales expected to receiving my new car, what paperwork I will receive via email, how to open and complete even down to the ID process with all details personalised to myself.
I’m looking forward to getting my new car and if the after sales equals the sales process I will be sticking with Renault for the foreseeable future and recommending them to all of my family.
Just to show that James didn’t slip me a tenner to write this review I would say the parking is difficult as if your lucky there may be one or maybe 2 spaces ever free. I had to circle on my first visit as nowhere to park and almost didn’t go in, and 2nd time I was blocked in when I was leaving and had to find someone to move the van. But I have found the same difficulties in other garages so I’m not letting that effect my overall experience.
Great coffee also. Big thumbs up.

Bought our second car from John Clark Renault Aberdeen and the service we received was fantastic. Scott was excellent and could have not been more helpful.
We absolutely love our new Clio e tech Alpine Hybrid and cannot fault Renault for the quality and value for money.

Like my Renaults
I had a Renault Austral and had to book it in as a fault came up on the dash about an external sound fault. Appears it was a software update that was required. I had been looking at a Symbioz and whilst waiting for my car took a test drive and was suitably impressed. I had always missed the 360 camera I had on a Qashquai and this model of Symbioz had it along with a host of other extras so the deal was done. All along the process I was under the impression I was buying a 1.8 and the paperwork said this too. The 1.8 engine and bigger battery gives a more efficient and better overall fuel consumption allegedly but on picking up the car it transpired that I had indeed bought a 1.6 which made changing my insurance easier as my company didn’t recognize a 1.8. So finally I would have to say I do like the car, it has less power than my Austral but as I am not someone who likes to burn rubber at the lights it is perfectly fine. I would say I was disappointed with the overall experience but hope that the dealer has done something to make sure they have learned something from it as well.

This is the 2nd car I buy at John Clark and it went well. I found what I was looking, all info was provided and all documents were given. The sale took a few hours to accepted and the car was ready when I went to collect it. If you are interest in buying a car, I would recommend to book in advance, so you will have a salesperson expecting you.

Great car
I recently purchased a brand-new Renault Clio Hybrid and after just over a week of driving, I can confidently say I absolutely love it.
From the moment I got behind the wheel, I was impressed by how smooth and quiet the hybrid system is. It offers a great balance between efficiency and performance, making it perfect for both city driving and longer trips. The interior feels modern and well-designed. Fuel economy is already proving to be excellent, a key reason I went for the hybrid version, and it’s reassuring to know I’m also being a bit more eco-friendly. Overall, the Renault Clio Hybrid has exceeded my expectations. It’s stylish, economical, and fun to drive. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a compact car that doesn’t compromise on quality or performance.

Visited to test drive the new Renault 5 after making an appointment with Scott Arthur. We really liked the car and Scott took the time to show us the differences in trim levels before we went for the test drive. Scott was great to deal with and very patient as we looked at several different specifications which required him to quote and requote until we arrived at a deal which worked for our budget.
