To be honest the interaction and knowledge of Mas was good but when can to ending the sale I was disappointed. He had the camera and lens but he didn't ask me if I needed anything else. When we first spoke he said was going to look after me but he didn't.

Nothing further that can be done - Unable to Honour Your Order” Out of Pocket
Already contacted customer service, as per their reply to an earlier review. Recap and Response from Jessops:
Before this, for weeks received regular emails assuring me that:
“...as soon as the stock is available, we'll ensure your order is dispatched to you as quickly as possible.”
Then one day, only hours later, after receiving their regular order updates:
“...we regret that we are unable to honour your order...”
followed by:
“If you would still like to proceed with your order, you can do so at the new price online.”
That “new price” was over £300 higher.
As a loyal returning customer, I found this completely unacceptable. Instead of honouring a confirmed order, they cancelled it and effectively suggested I repurchase the exact same item at a massively higher price.
Contacted the company:
Jessops email concluded with:
“... afraid there is nothing further that can be done.”
No accountability, no fairness, and absolutely no consideration for customer loyalty.
After weeks of waiting, uncertainty, and repeated assurances that the order would be fulfilled, this turned into an incredibly stressful and frustrating experience.
The complete lack of care, consideration, or accountability shown towards a loyal customer made the whole situation even more disappointing, especially as I had chosen to order from them over other companies offering the same item at the same price.
Would be interested to hear whether the company has anything meaningful and customer friendly to say here about this situation, beyond the standard “please contact customer service” response.

Swift and Smooth
The process to handle the trade-in of my camera was handled swiftly, courteously and smoothly via the staff at Jessops in Shrewsbury and the remote trade-in team. I heard within a few days the valuation and about next steps via email. Once I had accepted the offer and provided my bank details, the credit was made within a few days.
The staff at Jessops in Shrewsbury are friendly, professional and have excellent product knowledge.
